Best Cuban sandwich in Denver, hands down. Pickles and pickled red onion add just enough acid to balance all the meats. Pulled pork was moist - all the meats were great. Plenty of yellow mustard. All the right notes for a Cuban

I love their mission and philosophy of fusing Mediterranean and Latin American and they were incredibly friendly. Delicious food, but way too long of a wait.We visited on a Monday during lunch time and were warned of a 15 minute wait. However, we waited 30-45 minutes for our food (salads...) to be prepared. The salads were good but not worth the long wait.

Everything I’ve tried here is so flavorful! As a vegetarian, I feel that they have plenty of options to choose from and none of them lack yumminess! The owner is always so sweet, as well as anyone who has helped me! I would highly recommend Elita’s to anyone 🤗

Finally tried this place - the food is great! Chicken shawarma sandwich was very yummy and so was the cheesy flat top. Both hit the spot on a cold winter evening. Staff was very friendly too. Definitely will go back and try more things.

We just visited this place for the first time today for lunch (to go with some beer from the brewery a few doors down), and absolutely loved it. My husband and I shared a Cubano sandwich and the “La Mexicana” flatbread, and both were amazing, and even though we were expecting everything to be good, both items definitely surpassed our expectations. We’re looking forward to visiting again soon!

We have walked by Elita many times since they opened at The Stanley. There was a board outside of the store with specials and seasonal foods to order, “The Cubano Sandwich” caught my eye. I have tried Cubanos from a few places around Denver and have not found a single one that was worth trying again. After trying this Cubano sandwich at Elita, we will definitely come back!!! The sandwich was HUGE and delicious, each bite was bursting with flavor. The sandwich was great and so was the service. I can’t wait to visit Elita again!

Elita’s is amazing! We have tried their al pastor hummus bowl and their gyro sausages. The hummus bowl was so good! Freshly made with amazing flavors - great heat. I’d recommend you call ahead if you’re in a rush as freshly made can take a few minutes :) The gyro sausages were fresh and juicy - few minutes on the grill and they were ready! They had just enough spices to be super flavorful while not being so overpowering you remember what you eat for hours later...go try them, you’ll love it!

So the food is delicious, not gonna pretend it isnt! Got the chicken shawarma sandwich and it was amazing. But the service is not great, especially if youre in a rush. Waited about 20 minutes at the counter for one sandwich. After I ordered and was just standing waiting, some other people came in, waited 5 minutes and no one took their order, so they left. Just sort of odd ignoring of people, inconsistent. Person in front of me had their order messed up. When my sandwich finally came it tasted great but it was barely warm, almost room temp. Considering how long I waited it was disappointing that it couldnt have been hot... Eh.

ELITA is fantastic! For lunch ordered the Peruvian steak sandwich and the Tunisian tuna sandwich; both were phenomenal. We also brought home quite a few goodies, including a whole pre-marinated chicken and some house-made pickles (highly recommend both). The quality of everything has been wonderful. Ill certainly be returning soon! Great addition to the Stanley Marketplace.

Wow, I am so glad to have Elita at the Stanley! Rocky is uber talented, and everything I have tried has been outstanding! My favorite so far has been the chicken shawarma hummus, and the hummus with the tomatillo salsa on top. I cant imagine a more perfect blend of Mediterranean and Latin flavors. Definitely try this spot out if you havent been yet. This is a great small business I am happy to keep supporting because the food is incredible, and they are also all really nice people. Highly recommend!

We love Rocky and this market. If you haven’t tried her flatiron chickens, what are you waiting for? We love the Dijon version but the chipotle runs a close second. When we want to step up our grilling game, we split a cowboy ribeye - just incredible. This week we are cooking the porchetta (we expect great things). We feel so lucky to have this market in the neighborhood. And Rocky is always willing to go the extra step to please her customers. Best butcher in Denver.

The Juniper Pig has amazing quality. They are very picky about what sources they use for their meat. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have been searching for a quality butcher with reasonable prices in the metro area and we finally found it. Last night I had the best pork chop I have ever had and we didn’t even bribe it. Tonight seared duck breast. I’m glad I found The Juniper Pig.

I bought some pork chops and spare ribs. The ribs were okay except the packaging was a bit sloppy as there were bits of dried blood from when they sealed up the plastic. I ordered un-marinated chops and they had a very strong, weird smell to them as if they were near rancid. Im not sure if I would give them another shot. The staff was friendly though.

So I will preface this with I believe we walked in near closing time, however after looking at the outside I dont believe I saw hours listed. We were here to eat while at a dance at the Stanley. As we walked in they did not let us know that they were closing, only that they had just cleaned their sandwich press and if they could make our sandwiches in the oven. We happily agreed, I think this is where the problem really started. I had ordered a toasted Italian sandwich which had the the bread lightly toasted (no browning) and cold meat. Not the best Italian sandwich Ive had (not a fan of whatever sweet sauce they put on it) but it was okay.My wifes friend ordered a pretzel which did come out piping hot (no salt on these) but the cheese sauce and mustard were pulled out of the fridge; cold pretzel cheese yum! Finally and why I came on here to leave this review, my wifes Grilled Cheese Sandwich. They did not toast the bread past a warming so imagine this on bread youd left in the sun for an hour. The cheese was was not at all melted and you could see each individual slice. Towards the center the cheese was still fridge cold. So now you have a warm slightly greesy (around the edges) with cold cheese in the middle sandwich. My biggest regret here was not taking a picture for this review. All of this done by the disgruntled gentleman behind the counter in about 30 minutes. If this is an example of the quality of service here I would stay far away. If this was a grumpy employee regarding us walking in late please say something we would have gone to one of the other restaurants happily.

Hospitality:Let me tell you about this jewel at the Stanley market place!!! We came here for Mundo market but stumbled on the juniper pig... from just standing on the outside you could tell they kept a clean kitchen not shying away from trying new things we decided to order... Brent was on top of it very personable and a genuine sense of urgency to serve us patrons.Food: we ordered the ham and cheese, the pastrami and their Bohn Mi.. now I will say I will order all of their sandwiches again!!! But that Bahn Mi was hands Down the best Bahn mi I have had in Colorado... it was light and fresh the bun toasted to perfection: the cucumber, cilantro and mint were in perfect harmony balancing the sandwiches hardy meats (Ham and pork belly) wish I could post pictures on her because you ain’t never seen a sexier cross section then The juniper pigs Bahn mi being cut in half. As we were sitting their eating people were asking us where we got our sandwiches.5/5 Will recommend 100% chance will eat there again.
