If I could give a zero I would, brought some shea butter from them it cost 11.00 got home and noticed the bottom was cracked mind you I brought that 2 days ago had my receipt and was told I had 2 days to exchange it. NOWHERE ON THE RECEIPT DID IT SAY. She told legally she couldnt return shea butter cause it was a chemical. REALLY???? JUST RIPING PEOPLE OFF. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN

The staff is very knowledgeable on all the products they have to offer. The space is a little cramped. Good customer service and friendly attitude goes a long ways.

This shop is great. Always has wigs on sale and the staff are really helpful and patient. Ive gone here for years for a large variety of haircare products. One of my favorite stores in Denver and Aurora.

Buyer be ware! This placed is crooked, I purchased a lace front, after getting home and placing the piece on, it ripped at the part. (Cheap a$$ quality and overpriced products if you ask me.) I asked to replace the piece rather than getting a full refund and was only offered 25% off another. Really!? What kind disrespectful commerce practice is that? And that old lady with the terrible tattoo eyebrows accused me of cutting the piece. Clearly lacking any education, had I done that it would have been a clean cut not have ridges like a rip. Then to top their terrible customer service practices, they’ll further criminalize you as if your going to steal or attack them. If you want to get cheated, this is the place for you!

Woman who works in the back with the drawn on eyebrows who looks ghetto is very rude. Been coming there since I was child and never been treated so rudely for no reason at all. She needs to be fired. Will not return until she is gone.

The customer service. They have good products but I don’t see how they are going to survive if they keep the operating hours so short. They close at 6:30pm, way too early. People work during their hours. They need to stay open at least until 7:30. An extra hour makes a huge difference.

I love this beauty supply store. They have alot of items like makeup, eyelashes, hair extensions, wigs, hair dye, hats, sunglasses, jewelry, etc. The employees are always very nice.

Every establishment I go into, I immediately start paying attention to how, not only how Iam treated, but how other customers are treated. I have been coming here for years. Every time I come in, they greet me and they are friendly. I love my man Benny. He makes shopping there that much more pleasant.Centrally located on Sable and Mississippi, so its convenient. It has expanded its inventory. Its no doubt that u should be able to find 95% of what u are looking for. They have always been about 20% higher cost in wings but they avg the same cost for synthetic (fake)hair products. For 96% of these stores with foreign owners (DO NOT) sale human hair. Please dont be fooled by what they tell u or what the package says. U will need the internet for that. Remember, if u want the real thing u are NOT going to get it cheap. A knockoff can do the trick if u take care of it. Which products for ur synthetic hair is for another time.

Ive been going here since I was in high school well over a decade ago. Its family owned and operated and it has that small town feel where youre given personal attention and they truly have your best interest at heart paying attention to your hair type, your goal, how to best achieve it and maintain it. They even keep your pocket in mind giving you the best product for your budget. Their honesty is refreshing when they inform you of the best product for the health of your hair. They also carry a variety of other beauty products, consumer and professional styling tools, makeup, jewelry, sometimes even seasonal flip flops or flats. I always find a gem here I cant get anywhere else. Although it may be annoying to some, I appreciate that they check my ID when I use my credit/debit card. If you dont have they kindly offer to hold your things until you can hear it or offer the opportunity to use another form of payment. Although new beauty shops and salons pop up they offer the same staff, same service and reasonably priced products.

This is a large beauty supply store and this was my first visit to this store. I was greeted by a gentleman at the front door when I entered the store. Nice. But I sort of had a hard time finding what I was looking for. The shelves were full and appeared to be organized by product brand name or product types. But I was quickly asked by an associate if she could help me find anything and then helped me locate my items , kindly asked if she could assist me with anything else before leaving to assist someone else. Upon paying for my items the cashier asked if I found the items that I was looking for and she hoped my shopping was pleasant. Upon leaving the store , there was the friendly gentleman at the front door with a smile. Saying thank you and have a good day.

Always find what I need here. Its not close to my home but its convenient when Im in the area. 4 stars cause their makeup has changed. I had some great lipsticks that I only bought from here and now they dont sell them 🙄 a little annoying. New selection of lip makeup sucks.

I asked for human hair 100% and they still managed to sell me hair that had a mix in it. I called to explain the situation and the lady that answered hung up the phone while in the middle of a conversation. At this store, they are very unprofessional and need better costumer service. You work at a hair store and if someone asks for simple help, as well as giving simple steps and you do other than that it’s a problem. It’s your job to satisfy the costumer and make sure everything is okay. They should be responsible for selling false advertised products.

They have a great selection, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. They have so much, however, that it tends to make the store seem too small for the capacity of their supply. I can always find what I need though, so the pros truly outweigh the cons!

Im visiting Denver for a few months, and I lucked out on finding this place. They had everything I was looking for! The location is easy to find near a major highway and a large shopping mall. I talked to three staff members, and they were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. I will definitely patronize this store again for hair extensions and wigs, scarves, edge wax, and anything else I can think of.

Its really nice when you can shop at a store where they are not only knowledgeable but also care about you. Sometimes I need product advice and I can ALWAYS get an honest and educated answer at Hair Joy. I have always loved coming here because the energy feels good when I walk in and if they dont have what I need they will order it or suggest where to go. Thank you!

I’ve been going to hairjoy for years. My mom and I both get hair extensions a various hair products there and they have amazing A+ service there! They are always well stocked and very honest and helpful when it comes to product knowledge. This is our favorite beauty supply around.

Its a hair store. No Hombre colors of popular brands of braiding hair. Braiding hair is slightly higher here than other places. However they are following CDC guidelines. They do have all the standard hair store things like earrings and bonnets

Ive been going to this particular hair store for quite some time now and its like home. If youre a black woman or a black man or any other gender catering to a black woman or a black man and their hair hygiene needs, hair decorating needs, hair extending, braiding, wigs, moisturizing needs... This is the place to go. Sallys is okay but when you need that 16 in weave, or them braids all the way down to your knee caps, or some shea butter because Blue Magic just wont do, this is a place to go. You dont need a license it is open to the public and ask for Benny because he is the man! I love you Benny

Made me stand outside when there was nobody else in the shop they werent really paying attention to who was standing outside but they have a big sign that says stand outside until they let you come in becausethey cant have more than five people at a time

This place is amazing!! The staff is really nice and helpful, good music playing (90s throwbacks), and a huge selection of different types of hair and colors. I had gone to the beauty warehouse down the street...although its huge the people werent very helpful and they didnt have as many options for colors and wig styles. Hair joy is definitely thee spot! AND theyre open on sundays...and some holidays.

Benny who has worked here for years is one of the main reasons I enjoy shopping here! He is always so helpful and friendly! I will say they are fully stocked I always find what I need. However on this visit I will say I was a bit disappointed. I always deal with the same lady at the front when I cash out. I show my cosmetologist license and received a 10% discount on my merchandise. Its never been a problem on any of the items that I buy mainly hair in bulk. When I showed my license to pay for my items. This time she acted confused like she had never seen it before saying that it look different. I explained to her it was the same card that I had showed her last week and many weeks before that?! She refused to give the normal discount for my items saying they were already cheap. Wow, lol I found that hilarious and very confusing to me because Ive never had this problem before. Also, I think she needs to take in consideration many of my clients come to the store to purchase item for me to do their hair. Normally I would have disputed this but I just didnt have time today. However upon my return if I return! I am going to have a talk with her to see what the actual policy is regarding giving cosmetologist the 10% discount that I received everywhere else I go. This is one of the main reasons Im being to take my business to online services to avoid negative experiences like this. Our money does matter! We keep these businesses open!
