I went in for a whisker seeker pole. I wanted to stay and talk with the owner all day. She is fabulous. Knows so much about bait,locations,and has many fishing tales to tell. This place is great. For live bait and artificial.

This is a great little shop with a whole lot of fishing supplies packed into every inch. Its close to the entrance to Cherry Creek State Park. We stop in there every year to get our fishing licenses--and anything else we find that we need while were there!

There is a old guy in this store. He is great and will get you anything you want in the store not bad prices and a great selection of live bait

This is a place I will not only be returning for all my fishing needs and wants but I will be referring everyone I know because of how sweet honest knowledgeable and passionate these people are about fishing. The only complaint I have is I wish they gave a military discount otherwise amazing simply put best fishing shop Ive ever seen in my life. They have anything and everything you should ever want or need. Its easy to find and the whole store layout just tells you a story in itself. I love how simple it is and how elaborate it is. I went I. For worms and left with so much more all not from high pressure sales tactics but rather honest talking. Great work to you all keep it up please!!! And please start a military discount I would refer so many more if you all simply did that. Thank you still for the best and biggest worms and leeches Ive ever seen and thank you for the tackle I know is hard to keep in stock at this time of year. She tried to have me put on a used mask when I entered the store... I said I’m not wearing a used mask so she gave me a new one. She tries to overcharge me every single time I am in there by $5-$10 and then acts like it was a mistake when I call her out?? Seems to not really like minorities in her store..Overpriced everything BE CAREFUL here.....

This is one of my favorite places of all time! They have everything you need to catch fish in Colorado. Cabelas, Bass Pro and Walmart are a joke compared to these guys!

I could never start a fishing day or hour without the experince of the people and its owner and the stores fully stocked versatile selection of lures and hard baits of course the freshest live bait available as well as good advise and latest up bite updates keeps me on the fish at any depth of water Id say a true fishing adventure going any where has to start there I know it no fish tale its fish in the pale !

Simply cant say enough good things about this bait and tackle store. Very small, cozy little place but dont let size fool you. They carry a wide selection of all things fish. A must to visit especially if you are en route to Cherry Creek Reservoir. Louise will not only wow you with her knowledge of both what and how to use the gear she sells, but if you are nice she may even share with you top locations and tips that have put fish in the boat for me on numerous occasions! She has even stayed open late for me twice when i called in advance in need of their special night crawlers. They come brightly colored with some sort of fluorescent dye and work very well. A Full selection of all other live bait is at the ready which they always inspect for you before you leave the store. Nice store thats owned and operated by even nicer people. Always a pleasure to stop by!

I have been coming to Valley Country for two years. This is what a bait and tackle shop is supposed to be. They sell the biggest worms Ive ever seen. They empty the worm container into a box, so you can see the size of the worms before you buy them. They are well stocked with all the tackle you need to fish successfully, locally. Advice is always spot on. They also sell ice, beverages and snacks for a fair price. I hope they are in business for years to come.
