Excellent customer service. Brittany was able to evaluate my situation and found the perfect L-certified vehicle for me. I bought the GS 200t, and Ive driven the vehicle for about a week now, and absolutely love it. Averaging 33mpg, the ride is smooth, quiet, and very luxurious. Having the unlimited mile bumper to bumper warranty and maintenance plan gives me peace of mind knowing Im not going to have to come out of pocket anytime soon. I will definitely buy my next vehicle from Jim Hudson.

Excellent sales experience. Rick was top notch as our salesman. Our GX was ordered and came in super early which was a nice surprise. I would have given 5 stars except the high pressure pitch to buy extended warranties and maintenance plans in the finance room. I am a trust, but verify buyer so be sure you check the maintenance schedule of the vehicle you are buying before you decide on all the finance room add ons.

He took me for a test drive and the next morning when the office opened back up got me in and taken care of. On the afternoon of September 22, I called Jim Hudson Lexus of Augusta to specifically inquire about the Lexus IS 350s on the dealers lot. Once my call was transferred to the Sales department, a lady by the name of Nicole picked up the phone. I stated I didnt have much time, all though she insisted asking me multiple questions, when I in fact just wanted to know if the particular car was on the lot. She asked me for my last name, which I said, I didnt realize you need my last name to check the inventory. I just simply wanted to know if I needed to make the drive to Augusta. She replied, No mam, and mentioned she needed to place me on hold to check the inventory, and it would take about a minute. I waited on hold for 12-13 minutes before being hung up on by Nicole. She never returned the call. I immediately called right back and asked to speak to the Sales Manager. I was informed the only Manager onsite was busy and he would give me a call back. NEVER HAPPENED!!!! Customer service really goes a long way. I was willing to make the trip to Augusta to purchase a vehicle in such a challenging market.

Purchased several vehicles all (paid in full at time of purchase)with no problems. This time decided to buy from their used inventory. Paid in full per usual and the car was horrible and had safety concerns due to the auto stop feature; almost had 2 wrecks due to it stopping in traffic) called let dealership know, took it back to exchange for a different vehicle...ok I can tolerate and understand losing $2000 because I did have it 28 days and put 60 miles on it. .but being cheated out of another $7500 is ridiculous more than ridiculous.This repeat customer will never buy another vehicle from this lot nor any of my friends or family. A lot of loss business due to them screwing 1 military widow over instead of doing the right thing. Especially, when those friends and family buy new vehicles every 2-3 years. At least I have a safer vehicle and know now how awful car lots can truly be. One thing I can say about this experience I did have a great salesman Mr.Boykin did try his best and wasnt pushy like most.So if you do use this place request him as your salesman at least hes honest

I came to this dealership looking to see what vehicles they had and met Dewey Wilson. He actually drove my mom and me over to the Acura dealership to help us check out a Toyota Camry that I liked so I could test drive it.He was very friendly and professional. Didn’t buy my RX350 from this dealership as the sales lady was not helpful. However, since I live local I have had the opportunity to use the service department here & they were exceptionally professional, curious, and prompt to deal with my service need. My experience was not what I expected from a dealer I previously viewed as reputable. After leaving the dealership after completion of my credit application, I never heard anything from them. I was informed my application would be reviewed and I would receive feedback regarding the status. It has now been two weeks and to date I have heard nothing. This is not the service I expect from Jim Hudson in Augusta GA. I will never consider this dealership moving forward I will take my business to a dealership that appreciates their customers!

When I say great customer service, I mean great customer service they treated me with respect, dignity, kindness and my young adult son went with me to purchase my Lexus they also treated him the same way any questions that he had about the technology of the vehicle and so forth, the sales person was able to answer. Shout out to Taylor the sales person she was Awesome, kind and very knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased. My wife was met by Mr. Cook at the door as she entered Jim Hudson Lexus. He was welcoming and friendly and sat with her as she described the car in which she was interested. He brought the car to the front so that she could test drive it and went with her to show her the features. He then let us both take the vehicle off by ourselves. I did not have a good experience with this place. They lied to me several times as well. I received an offer from a bank with a lower interest rate, lower payments, and shorter pay period and they declined it so I can finance with them. They never told me about the offer. I received a letter in the mail from the bank notifying me that I had the offer and it was declined by Jim Hudson Lexus. I bought my car a month and 10 days ago and they still haven’t sent my tag information so that I can purchase my tag. My temporary tag expires in 5 days. They don’t seem to care about the customers. I have been calling the dealership every week multiple times a week since I purchased my car and they either don’t answer or give me the runaround. Instead of telling me everything I need all at once they tell me piece by piece. They will tell you everything is done, and you wait for them to do what they are supposed to do. When you call them because they haven’t performed the tasks they were supposed to they will then tell you you have to do something else and thats why they didnt do what they were supposed to do. They are the worst I have ever done business with and I have purchased 3 cars so far, besides this car. They will never receive business from me again.

Wow! I have tremendous gratitude. My assistant was Justin Bragg and I feel like we just went through a war together. I had a variety of things accomplished well at Jim Hudson of which he helped me decide on as well as negotiated reasonable pricing. Then we took the vehicle to Dealer Options down the street and it was a complete fiasco. Justin stuck with the process throughout. He stayed constant in his communications. The ordeal has lasted weeks and he remained positive and compassionate as I was forced to cancel my vacation and several other events. Overall A+++ on the Jim Hudson service I received on my vehicle and there are not enough ++++-s to put after the A for Justin and the service associates.

Paul sold us a car in Jan 2013. We’ve run into each other and stayed in touch through FB. We moved 3 hrs away 6 years ago. This was my fourth Lexus purchased at Jim Hudson, and it probably will be my last. I always considered the service department one of the bright lights at the dealership. One pays more for a Lexus but the service WAS beyond comparison. When I purchased my RC 300 F Sport I looked at Infiniti, BMW and Audi. I liked the Infiniti marginally better than the Lexus. However, when I included the service there was no decision, I bought the Lexus. When I purchased the RC, I insisted that all four tires be the same size. I had a 350Z with different size tires and without the ability to rotate the tires were worn very quickly. Every time that I took the car in for service I made it a point to tell the service advisor that all four tires were the same size so have the tires rotated. Prior to my 20k service, I noted the serial numbers of the tires since I didnt think the tires were being rotated, and I was right. Never rotated the tires even though I specifically requested at every service. When i picked the car up from the 20k service and checked the serial numbers, the tires were not being rotated. So much for my attempt to extend the tire life. I also complained about several smaller problems and discovered that Lexus has a new phrase for the service department working as designed. This would include the automatic high beams disengaging without any reason - working as designed; A/C air flow decreases and cant be increased unless the A/c is turned off and back on - working as designed. The biggest issue is a noise that comes from the front end when I go over a pot hole. I took the car in for a second attempt to fix the problem. I had a technician ride in the car and I found a pot hole that caused the problem. Asked the technician if he heard the noise - yes, asked if he wanted to drive the car to feel the steering wheel when the car goes over the hole - no. At the end of the service I was told that a Lexus will make noises as it ages - 18 months, 15k miles and the car is old? Never heard a Lexus service technician say that a Lexus will make noises when it is 18 months old. For the next service the service manager drove the car and attempted to duplicate the noise - couldnt do it. Later I realized that cold weather will cause the noise to get louder. It was January when I drove the technician and heard the noise; May when the service manager drove the car. I mentioned that where I live the driveways are 1-2 inches above the road and that will cause the noise. Service manager said he would come to my house, and if he didnt hear any noise that I could never mention it again. I originally said ok. I later realized that I should delay the one time check to a time when the weather is colder. I called the service manager and left a message stating such. Service manager called my cell two minutes later and I couldnt get the cell quick enough. Checked, he didnt leave any message. Two days later, still no return call. I had to write a note to the VP and General Manager to get the service manager to call me. What kind of service is this? I always told friends that I realize one pays more for a Lexus, but the service more than makes up for the price. If it was not for the person who sold me the car and did what he could (and that is why I did give them 2 stars, for the sales, not the service department) I would have traded the car in the next day, and it wouldnt be another Lexus. What a disappointment.

I assisted a close personal friend in the purchase of her L/Certified 2017 RX350 F-Sport. Wow! It is a beautiful machine. The team at Jim Hudson Lexus Augusta are obviously knowledgeable and can facilitate a transaction relatively smoothly.I am unable to give a full 5 stars however due to certain details that can make a transaction a little uncomfortable. When buying the 161 point inspected vehicle, at no time was the fact the rear driver side interior door handle mentioned as being defective. How could it be certified? Well, there is a campaign to fix it and they had not yet done so before putting the vehicle up for sale. It was not disclosed until the buyer happened to try sitting in the back seat before finishing the purchase.There were also easy scuffs to remove that a top quality detail department should have caught.Our salesperson was highly cordial, but I did not feel a strong personal connection to them through the in store process (most of the sale was conducted online).The facility is beautiful, and their selection is outstanding. I will recommend Jim Hudson Lexus Augusta, but also challenge them to pay attention to the details.

Did the deal on line and phone and I could not be happier, vehicle in pristine condition and John Nash could not have been anymore professional as well as a pleasure through the process . I had it delivered and drivers were great as well. I felt welcomed the moment I stepped foot inside the building. So many other dealerships I’ve dealt with in the past I’ve always had to hunt down someone to help me, but I also don’t like being followed the moment I step onto the lot. So I went for one car, but a deposit was placed down on it so I decided to drive another color of the same model. Scott got me the keys to all three cars and I compared all three to each other and decided on one! Scott was great to deal with. Very hospitable. Very knowledgeable. Everyone in the dealership is friendly and I really felt like a VIP guest. They really rolled out the red carpet for me. This is my first Lexus and definitely will not be my last.

Nice people, but we waited over 2 hours for a scheduled oil change. Once done, we were told we needed to get a new radiator for over $900 due to a leak. We took it to 2 other mechanics who saw nothing and my husband figured out that the radiator cap was not put on correctly. 3 days later still no leak. EDIT to ADD 3 days later: Ever since we took the car there, its been cutting off at random times. EDITED once more after Lexus response: HOW IS THIS A KIND REVIEW?? WE ARE CLEARLY dissatisfied with the events of our visit, but ok.

We traveled from Atlanta to see a car at Jim Hudson Lexus in Augusta. We were totally surprised by the royal special treatment we received from John Nash and the people at this very nice dealer. They welcomed us and catered to us like we were celebrities. We came to look at a particular car and were agreed if the car was to her liking and the price was right we would buy it. When we arrived not only was it ready to look at. the car was cleaned in the showroom with a big bow on the top and a sign saying reserve for her. But thats when the greatest car salesman took us through the details of the car and made us totally comfortable doing business. Needless to say we would drive 3 hours again to do business with John and Jim Hudson Lexus.

My experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish with Dewey! My father had become a regular patron at this dealership since recently moving to the area and when I wanted to splurge for a new Lexus, I knew exactly who to go to! They had the exact color and model I wanted and when I went to pick it up, they thought of everything to make the experience personable and thoughtful; even down to having my business logo on the VIP podium paperwork so I could have my photo taken with it. Dewey is kind, patient, and not pushy at all. He simply informs you of your options and lets you take the lead in the process, making you feel in control of the situation. There was no pressure and he bent over backwards to accommodate every whim and whimper I made before ultimately making up my mind. He stayed 2 hours late to make sure I was completely taken care of. The experience was totally worth the 2 hour drive!

Wow what a difference. Hendrick Lexus service is so much better and respectful vs Hudson Lexus. Danny Chupeck in service treated me like one of the herd. Bought a brand new Lexus over 100k and had an appt for 5 k service. The service coordinator told me one hour. Danny said 2 hours even though I was traveling thru the area and needed it done . He wouldn’t even vacuum my car. After much consternation of deciding if I could vacuum it myself he had the young assistant do only my driver side floor which wasn’t done properly.I am rescheduling with Hendrick in Charleston for tomorrow. Hudson doesn’t allow for loaners on brand new vehicles needing first service.Bottom line :expect VIP at Hendrick LexusExpect Herd mentality and rude treatment at Hudson Lexus service.I will never buy or service at Hudson againBtw I am a very busy physician and I have. Owned 10. Lexus vehicles over the past 20 years plus. I rarely take the time to google review but Danny gets a thumbs down. .

We actually have been customers of Jim Hudson Lexus for a while. We have bought our last 2 cars from them and love their customer service. I will be truthful the first salesman I wasn’t impressed with so when we got our 90,000 mile service on our car I ask Terry if I could drive the car I was interested in and he made it happen. I told him I didn’t care for the guy who came out on the lot so Terry hooked us up with Paul Foust. He was GREAT!!! He was so helpful and I couldn’t have pick out a nicer person myself. I made an appointment to test drive my chosen vehicle and was immediately impressed when I opened the showroom. Sarah Mooney gave me a very warm welcome and gave me a thorough tour of the facility as well as answering my questions. Sarah made the shopping process fun. Armando Love was quite friendly and expertly guided me through the purchase details. I love the touchscreen on the desk, as well as having all the information available to me on a USB drive. Ally Love did a terrific job of setting up my iPhone and providing me with familiarity of my cars tech and in-dash control systems. I would give higher than 5 stars if I could! Jim Hudson Lexus has always been nothing short of perfect. Every experience (four or more at this point) has been absolutely wonderful. From service to sales, they make sure to help in every way possible! Most recently, we found ourselves in a less than perfect financial situation, but needed a new vehicle. Rick Bowen, an amazing employee here, was beyond fantastic. He was nice, understanding, helpful, knowledgeable, and everything that characterizes outstanding customer service! He went above and beyond, even bringing vehicles from another state, to get us what we wanted and needed. By far the best car buying experience I have ever had. We are forever Jim Hudson Lexus and Rick Bowen customers!The inventory is great (including the other Jim Hudson stores in SC).
