I have been here a few times. The staff is always helpful. I have found their meats to be better grade, than big chain grocery.

The young man who sliced my meat was kind enough to inform me that I didnt need to buy the most expensive cut .. it was only 1% more than the regular meat Lol .. Great deals at this hometown meat market. Never got any bad meat here. Everything looks fresh Everytime I go here. They also have frozen veggies, cheeses, sauces, seasonings, etc. One stop shop for dinner. I like to stock up the freezer every couple of months and this is where I go.

This place is pretty great when it comes to its meats! They have sales often on certain things and their prices are not that bad considering what you are getting. If you dont know much about specific cuts then the pros in the back are more than willing to help you with any questions or doubts you may have. They will even cut it to how you ask as well. This place is pretty fantastic. Only little complaint is that it could be a bit cleaner. Other than that it is great.

How long do you have to chew to swallow. And yes seasoned griller. The meat was sub par. Actually sucked. First time in 200.00 in the trash lesson learned. Never again.

Normally I shop here for my meats but I went in to return some hamburger meat that was just purchased 30 minutes earlier because the packaging smelled like rotted meat, so I didnt want to chance feeding it to my family. The cashier was very polite about it and so was the lady that came out of the meat cutting room. She said she would replace it from some freshly ground meat from the back. I was happy with that until this cocky little man came around the corner and said ,whats wrong with it? I said it smells bad, he smelled it and said it smells fine. I suggested he smell the PKG. He said and I quote what the hell does the PKG have to do with it? I almost lost my s**t if not for the lady that was taking care of it for me. The owner needs to be aware of this. I dont care if it was just the packaging, no one would want to eat the meat that comes out of it if it smells rotten! And little man needs his nose checked!

The price of everything in the store is to high. The meat is really fatty and the veggies look like someone grew them in there back yard and forgot to water them. The staff is great thats the only good thing about this place.

My wife and I exclusively buy our meat here. They always have some kind of specials going on. The employees are always smiling and very nice. Ive even found some products there that I couldnt find in any local grocery stores. I guess the only thing I could say critically is I wish steaks were cut just a little thicker. Though thats not enough to bring down the 5th star.

Buying local is always 10 times tastier than buy big brand grocer products. I can actually taste my food. 👍

Great little family own meat market. They have a couple of extra things like soda, bread, vegetables, napkins, plates and chips. Great variety of sauces for the meats. They have meat packages offers for bigger families too.

My wife hates it, I like it. I buy the 10# chicken leg quarters for my dogs and the ribs and steak for me. They also give a , 10% Veteran and senior discount.

When this place first opened it had great quality clean cuts and they really kept an eye out on their products. Recently over the past 6 months or so it has gradually declined. Customer service is non-existent. Quality of meats are very poor. When you pick up a steak from here flip it over and smell it, it will more than likely smell old. Chicken wings ranged from one inch long to 3 inches. No consistency. If youre looking for low quality and rude service this is your place. Walmart is better if youre looking for cheap.

Great prices for good quality meat. Employees are very friendly. But it is cold inside, so if us get cold easily like I do bring a jacket with.

I used harvest for years, and then moved away and came back to polk and went to the one in auburndale last week, i bought the big family pack of chicken breasts, rang the bell to have them sliced in the back, the butcher informed me he will only cut them one time in half, because his knifes are shape and he isnt going to cut his hand slicing my chicken breasts, i was like ok, well this is new, so ill be going back to macks in winter haven from now on.
