Service was above and beyond! The Dr took the time to explain a lot of what I needed to know about the hearing aids and encouraged hands on practice while there to ensure I knew how to use them after leaving the office! Receptionist is exceptionally friendly and kind!!

A few years ago I was pointed to the hearing aid center by my insurance company. It changed my life. I have had poor hearing for many years and never fully realized how much I was missing. David has been great. Treats me like an old friend and really knows his business. I just got a new pair and Im blown away by how much they do. I know people who really need hearing aids but are just too stubborn to get them. If they only knew. David could change their lives too. I wouldnt recommend anybody else.

I recently accompanied my boyfriend to The Hearing Aid Center for three of his office visits with David. He received a new hearing aid on the first visit. I could see immediately David takes personal care of his patients, listens to their concerns if they have any, and does not over book his schedule, so, if an issue comes up that requires a bit more time his scheduling allows for that.The second visit was to fit the new hearing aid and make sure everything was working as it should be. David again proved to be experienced, knowledgeable, cordial, and made the appointment long enough to complete the fitting.The third appointment, was not scheduled, but they fit him in, with no waiting time. My boyfriend was having an issue with the hearing aid, it was slipping out of his ear canal. David noticed immediately there was something going on. He called the manufacturer, the warranty had expired 10 days prior, he described the problem to the person on the phone, and somehow worked the issue out with them for no charge.I rarely, if ever, see patient care and customer service of this quality in this day and age. Especially the consistency of not overbooking patients. David’s staff is a pleasure to work with at all times. To sum up “The Hearing Aid Center” entirely professional with personal care from an experienced business owner. His patients are his first and foremost concern, always. I would recommend David, and his Hearing Aid Center 110%, to any friend or family member.

We went to several businesses when looking for new hearing aids for my elderly mother. We chose David and The Hearing Aid Center because of his patience, his knowledge of different hearing aids, and concern for the best hearing experience possible. He explained every step of the testing and the reasoning behind his recommendations. My mother never felt rushed, or that she was being pushed to buy a product she didn’t need, and David always made her feel like she was his most important customer. She has had her hearing aids for 3 years now and we couldn’t be happier with the quality, or the excellent follow up service from David, as she goes in about every 6 months to get them checked. The one time she pulled a wire loose, he saw her immediately and was able to repair the hearing aid the same day. Approximately 2 years ago, I was referred to David Gibson at the Auburn Hearing Aid Center by a good friend.David did a thorough examination of my ears and my hearing level. His test results were identical to the previous tests that were done by a Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist at Sutter Medical.Based on my results, he recommended a certain manufacturer and model for my needs. I would say that he is very knowledgeable of his products.I have been wearing the prescribed hearing aids for the last 2 years with good results. The follow up service has been excellent.I have recommended David and the Auburn Hearing Aid Center to a number of family and friends including my wife.I believe David is dedicated to providing an outstanding level of care and service to his clients.

I originally had purchased hearing aids from one of the big box stores 7 years prior. I had stopped wearing them after a year or so as they just didn’t seem to help. And when I did wear them, it was a relief to take them off at night as the sound was so irritating.I knew my hearing was bad as I could hear sounds when people talked but couldn’t understand what they were saying. I was very discouraged, but when I heard about an Presentation that the hearing aid center was going to be giving, I decided to go. It included a lunch so I figured I’d go to see what they had to say. It was David Gibson, the owner of the Hearing Aid Center in Auburn, who told us all about the new technology of hearing aids and many other interesting facts about hearing loss.It was several months before I was able to get in to see David and even though I’d recently gone to a Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor, as I felt there was some other problem because this other hearing place mentioned I had an air bone gap. So David gave me another hearing test which confirmed I did not have one. He patiently went over the hearing aids they provide and the costs involved. Even though they turned out to be a bit higher than the ones at the big box store, he explained that often the ones they provide are not this years most up to date hearing aids. So he loaned me a pair and I was so surprised how many sounds I was hearing that I had never heard before. I ended up purchasing the ones I tried out and in my various visits he has adjusted them so my hearing is pleasant and natural. The Bluetooth option now offered is wonderful and allows you to hear directly into your hearing aids when a call comes in to your cell phone. You van adjust the volume either on your hearing aids or on your smart phone. They also were able to get me zero financing on the balance owed on my hearing aids if repaid off in a certain period of time. I love that they are local and I don’t have to drive to Roseville if I have a problem! He provides free batteries for a year and explains and shows how to clean them and do what’s necessary to keep them in good shape. I was at first a bit leery of going here, but now I can’t say enough good things about the Hearing Aid Center and their staff and would recommend them to anyone in need of hearing aids, as there is no pressure on you to buy but when you try a pair out, and you get to hear, which is such a valuable sense we are fortunate to have, you will be happy you went to them! I have worn hearing aids for 26 years, which of course experienced both good and bad. At the time of I met the staff of Auburn Hearing Aid center I was experiencing the worst situation that had ever happened from a company that I had purchased aids from. My aids were covered by a warranty policy however without notification this company closed its local office and transferred patient files elsewhere. When I contacted this company they refused to transfer my files anywhere. My aids were in need of repair and with no assistance from this company my only option was to contact the manufacturer directly. In disbelief the manufacturer contacted this company and were shocked how I as well as they were treated. The manufacturer referred me to The Auburn Hearing Aid Center. I was met by a most pleasant and accommodating staff. Thou they hadnt made the original sale Dave jumped into action, took over the situation and shortly I was able to hear again. The entire staff are always pleasant and patient, they have a complete understanding of the challenges of the hard if hearing.

I recently acquired a pair of Seimens Aquaris 7 hearing aids from David Gibson, the owner of The Hearing Aid Center in Auburn, CA. Ive been wearing hearing aids for over 30 years and have had many experiences with providers. David was excellent in measuring my hearing and in fitting/tuning the devices. I made 3 trips of 200 miles to get my devices and Davids expertise. I recommend him 100%.
