A few years ago we installed and outdoor kitchen and a section collapsed do to water damage. The issue was in no way caused by the backyard but they were subcontracted to do the masonry and we were not sure who to call. Not only was Brian incredibly responsive, he warranted the issue when it truly was not his fault and the kitchen is better than it was before.I love to support local businesses especially businesses that are run by great people like Brian. We had them build a fire pit, patio with columns, sidewalk, and mailbox. Bryan went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased all along the way, as well as the final product. The crew showed up at 7:00 a.m. and WORKED until 5:30 with a short break for lunch. Great experience...we will use them again!

Everyone was nice and helpful. I have to say the quote seemed like a lot but after seeing all that is involved in the process of building the grilling area to prepping the fireplace to lay stone it was very fair. We couldnt be happier with our new flagstone patio! Bryan was recommended to us by friends, and it clearly was the right choice. We had some ideas for the design, and Bryan helped us make the final choices. I really liked how he respected our ideas, yet telling us what will work and what wont. Super professional.His crew is also fantastic: great craftsmanship, they built our patio as if it was for their own house, choosing the best looking stones for accent pieces like the top stones on stairs columns. They work efficiently, they are clean, protect the lawn, and dont leave anything behind.Last but not least, Bryan stands by his work and immediately provided touch ups etc. When recent storms popped up the gutter pipe they had buried, a crew of 4 came the next day to repair, complete with sod to patch up.I would give Bryan and The Backyard 10 stars if I could. They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Bryan Waits of The Backyard has done 2 projects for us in the last year. They installed a short height but long rock wall and several rock planters along with a flagstone walkway on the first project. It was done on time and budget. The work was quality and looked wonderful. The second project that they just finished was another walkway from our deck to the fire pit. It turned out wonderfully just like the other one did. His guys are very professional and nice to work with. I would recommend them highly.

We just finished an expansion of our porch to a patio with a new stone surface throughout and the finished product is perfect. I had Backyard Of Auburn do a project in my backyard in Auburn.. They did a fantastic job. We had kudzu and bamboo and erosion with a drainage ditch through the yard. Brian and his crew cleared the yard tiered the yard and put down a tarp and rocks and in the drainage ditch large rock and it looks wonderful. I could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
