Love this store. Shopped for fabric to redo our dining room chairs. Found the perfect material and pattern. Staff was excellent and patient with us as I am certainly not a seamstress. We now live in Florida but every time we visit family it includes a trip to the fabric outlet. Next visit is redoing box valances. Cant wait.

Prices are wonderful, they have lovely fabrics for crafts, clothing,draperies and slipcovers, also very nice upholstery weight material. They have trims,tassels, buttons and findings, as well as foam and fillers. The selections are many, and they bring in new goods constantly. The store assistance is very pleasant and helpful, and it is a fun place to shop.

I love this store. Every employee is helpful and they have a mind boggling selection of cotton quilt fabrics and trims. All sorts of other fabrics too. I could spend hours here.

Rude, even though I am medically exempt from wearing a mask, vaccinated and the restrictions were to be lifted the next day, the B told me masks are required in our store. Here is the sign outside, I guess unless you are a white middle aged male, all are welcome.

Let me start by saying they have great pricing but customer service was non existent with some of the sales associates. The one that was helping me was so cold towards me that a younger girl had to take over the sale. Im not the one to scream discrimination easily but the sign they have outside that says a list of people that are welcomed is not being honored.

This is the second time I have come in and been treated rudely. Basically dismissed because I dared to ask for help/advice. As a customer with little knowledge of fabric. I expect to be able get the help I needed from someone with experience. I asked for advice on fabric...instead of being shown some fabrics to fit my needs..she pointed to a wall and said its all there. Then ignored me. I said thanks for the help. ..and left. GOD I miss the Fabric Stash in Auburn! They always were so nice..and helpful...I will never go there again.

Fabric is $2.99 a yard. Im a quilter and the cottons were mostly precut pieces, plus they had jelly rolls and fat quarter bundles. I found beautiful batiks as well as prints for ongoing projects!

Nice selection of fabrics and plenty of sewing stuff available. The down fall for me was the women working there. They didnt greet anyone customer or ask if anyone needed or wanted assistance and when we went up to the table to get fabric cut, it was as if we were bothering them. Other than i will be back because of the array of fabrics and cheap price of $2.99 a yard.

Hello my Visit to Auburn fabric outlet was a pleasant surprise. I found many items that I could not find at the big fabric stores. Prices were very reasonable. I even found bias tape. With my heart would be had I recommend this store for all the odd items you may mean. Fabric is very reasonably priced. Go have fun.

These ladies are very RUDE!! I didn’t feel welcomed AT ALL. They make u feel as if you’re bothering them! Not only that but I bought $12 worth of stuff which came up to almost $30!!!!!! Talking about tax smh. I told her to subtract one item and she literally only subtracted $2.99 she did not subtract the tax!! Crooks!!!. I came here because of the prices and they overcharged me every time I came in. I’m definitely going to say something the next time!!!

They have a wide variety of fabrics not to mention they are constantly stocking with new variety of fabric. Everything is $3/yd, no guessing! Awesome employees, eclectic selection with many standby options (huge selection of quilters cottons and they always have waterproof tablecloth material for example). Love this place! If youre fabric-savvy you can even find linen and other pricey fabrics here sometimes.

Love this new find! Its an outlet so if you want the fabric you see, buy it then and there. The ladies working said they do not know when or what fabric comes in. Wide variety of prints and range of textiles. They have designer fabric, for both decor and wearable projects. There was a pretty good notions section too!Only gave 4 stars because the saleslady who helped us seemed bothered by a woman who came in with two young children. She was down right nasty in her demeanor. Dont know if there was a prior history or not. One child was crying but, cmon. (I have to say she was very nice to us) but it made me feel uncomfortable as I was standing there with my 12 yr old boy.She messed up my boyfriends sale, having to put his card through twice, due to not knowing the register or card reader apparently, which is ok. We didnt mind waiting, but she was testy and short with the sales lady who tried to correct it and help her. Everyone has a bad day, we understand but I felt uncomfortable enough where i contemplated not returning. But the bargain price will lure me back!

They have a great price BUT the staff was cold. I tried to ask the employees for help but all I got was rude short responses. ...it wasnt a welcoming environment.

When we were decorating our home in Douglas we were able to find great fabrics to create homemade curtains.

I almost wanted to leave my purchase there. If it wasnt for the other two nice employees I would not be going back.

As someone that sews, I always make an attempt to stop here when Im in the area. I love this place! There is a wide range of fabrics at unbeatable prices, even compared to big chain stores that are offering discounts. Even suiting material is very affordable here! The staff is knowledgeable and has been very helpful. On snowy days, check the Facebook to see if theyre closed for the day. I once made the mistake of driving all the way there in the snow and finding it was closed. Fabric stores like this are hard to find.

I brought an elderly and disabled friend here a couple weeks ago and have held off reviewing this business, in the hopes that I wouldnt be as angry as I was on the day that I visited but unfortunately my feelings toward Auburn Fabric Outlet havent changed in the least. For starters, there isnt an ADA entrance, only several concrete stairs that lead up from a parking lot full of huge pot holes as well as large chunks of broken up pavement which are strewn across the parts that was paved, making it extremely difficult for my friend to not only get in and out of the car, but she also had a very hard time maintaining her balance, due to trying to avoid stumbling over the chunks of pavement, even though I had a firm hold of her gait belt. Once inside, it was impossible to get anyone to come over and answer a question she had. I had to leave my friends side 3 times to go over to the cutting counter to ask if someone could come answer her question. At the time of our visit there was one other customer who was in the process of selecting her material and the remaining 5 other individuals there were clearly employees and the employees family members, all of whom were chatting amongst themselves and wouldnt even acknowledge me when I asked for assistance. At no point during our visit was I rude to any of these people, in fact, just the opposite. I waited patiently at the counter all 3 times for them to stop speaking to each other, to ask for help for my friend. I pointed out her location in the store and rejoined my friend. Ive been in sales and customer service for most of my life, and I try to go out of my way to be flexible, and understanding the nature of the service industry, well aware that in all honesty, the customer ISNT always right, but these people were beyond rude, and I cant understand how they can take such little pride in their family - owned business. Best of luck to them in the future.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Wide variety of material and notions, but you never know what will be on hand. Hours of operation mainly 10- 5:45. That is an odd time to close! I wish they would stay open until 6:30 or 7. Cant beat the prices!

My wife and her girlfriend went today. 3 staff members sitting on the floor. She asked about a particular fabric. Associate pointed it’s over there. My wife found the fabric and asked if there was 14 yards of it. Associate said she didn’t know but would have to roll it back up. Then she said I only make minimum wage. Not how I would want my store represented !
