I was lured in by their two for -same day offer. After I spent $420 for two pair and waited over a month I finally got my glasses. At least the prescription was correct and the glasses are nice but I was very disappointed at the untimely service. I will never use their service again

WAS SERIOUSLY AMAZED BY HOW AWESOME AND PLEASANT MY EXPERIENCE WAS!!!My wife went in to have her eyglasses and sunglasses repaired and adjusted. we purchased them earlier this year from the south sacramento florin location and spent over $500 on all 3. they welcomed her in with open arms. fixed her glasses, cleaned em and repaired all for free(warranty covered). she also asked, what loaction did she buy them from as the sunglasses which were $375 were not done properly and fixed them. awesome awesome awesome people! highly recommend this location

Theres a lot of mixed reviews here. Even so, I decided to give them a shot. The whole team has top notch customer service, and I mean top notch! You seriously couldnt ask for better. The Optometrist is strictly business, but definitely seemed knowledgeable. He recommended eye drops for dry eyes I didnteven know I had. (The eye drops are over the counter at Walmart - so no sales drive there.) The team was also not sales driven. They all reiterated that I could take my time in deciding what frames I wanted and if and/or how many options I could choose to be added to the frames. In other words I was not pressured in the least. I would consider myself very picky about what type of frames Im going to put on my face, and they listened and found the perfect pair. I would definitely recommend Eyeglass World of Auburn. Thank you all so much!

I lost my glasses and cannot see to drive so had to replace them quickly. I went into eyeglass world because of their ads for single vision lens. Curtis was the one who helped me and after watching him clean the desk and surrounding items on the desk including the terminal for payment, I felt reassured for my safety and that of my 81yr old brother at home. Curtis explained everything so well and in my mind everything I needed he was able to give me for under 200 dollars! I picked up my glasses 2 hours later and he measured my face so well that when I put the glasses on they needed no adjustment! They fit perfect and the team at eyelass world are wonderful and they do care about you and your safety I highly recommend them if you need help with your glasses!

I had a great experience at EyeGlass World in Auburn CA. After looking at my optometrists office and online for frames I liked, I was able to go down to the store in Auburn where they had a large selection of frames I could try on. I had my exam done by my usual Optometrist in Grass Valley but EyeGlass World staff were wonderful in helping me pick out frames in my size, try them on , order and fit them. I am so far very pleased with my experience and want to say Thank you for all that helped!

I was at Walmart where I had gotten my last pair of glasses and they needed adjusting, but as I took them off they literally fell apart. The person there was able to put them back together but said not to take them off unless I absolutely had too. I immediately went home as I remembered Eyeglass World was near and went straight there. They were able to get me new glasses within 4 hours. I was so pleased to say the least!! Now I have a backup pair as well. I will definitely be getting my next ones there!!

The 2nd time visiting changed my mind about this place. When I arrived I got to meet the new management as well as the area manager who was visiting the store. When I Explained my disappointment with the company about a previous order, the staff corrected the problem right away and were extremely helpful with my eye glass purchase. The store has good selections and price and. I walked out a happy customer and satisfied with the way it was handled. Thank you guys I will definitely be back again and let other people know about this experience.

Everyone at the office makes it a good experience every single time. The exams and entire process is super quick but they are super thorough and make sure you get every question answered. Your employee Mark deserves a promotion, he had a special way of making the experience personal, and memorable. The motivation he’s got is a rare commodity that you don’t see in many people. I’m definitely recommending any friends or family that need glasses to go back to Eyeglass World!

I was very hesitant to buy glasses from this type of glasses store because of a horrible experience with another well know store. When I began looking for frames, I was surprised by the number of choices in the $69.00 glasses. I easy found frames that I liked. When I worked with Mark he was friendly and positive. There was no up selling of frames or add on features. When I received my glasses I was excited that fit well and needed no adjustments. I returned a few days later and order another set of glasses ( I have two prescriptions). I am so glad I have a store in town I can trust.

I was suppose to get my glasses over night shipped to me, I was going to need them for a vacation, they never arrived. I called the store and was told they were sorry & they would ship them, its been 9 days and still have not recieved my glasses. Not very happy with the service .

Definitely practicing COVID-19 precautions! I was amazed after only 1.5 hours, I walked out with 1 pair of prescription glasses and one pair of prescription sunglasses! From the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out, I was VERY well taken care of. The Dr was very educational and took his time. The floor staff was very helpful & friendly. The manager was AHHHMAZZING. I will definitely be back. And I will not miss an opportunity to refer anyone looking for eyeglasses. You can not beat their service or price!

I would really like to congratulate Mark the general manager of this store for his fantastic customer service. I brought 2 pairs of glasses back for a total refund and was so impressed by this persons customer service that I went ahead and bought 2 more pairs of glasses from him. Came here awhile ago and although I didn’t purchase anything, the girl who helped provide a quote for me was nice. I’m used to high quality glasses made by highly experienced opticians so that was my baseline for comparison. I was disappointed by the lack of knowledge but I’m sure that’s not the girl’s fault. I’m not a fan of glasses that feel cheap so none of the frames worked for me. They advertise low prices but my quote was far from it. Personally, I wouldn’t pay half the price quoted for the quality of the frames. I am looking to find an optical that specializes in high quality eyeglasses, even if I have to pay a high price tag for it. With the glasses I’m currently wearing, there’s no way I would downgrade. This place is good for those looking for cheap glasses because you’ll get what you pay for, which is fine. However, I need a few pairs and I need them to be exceptional. The 3 stars are only because the girl was nice and tried her best.

Location: Eyeglass World2803 Grass Valley Hwy, Auburn, CA 95603I had one prescription filled here and it was my last. Service was poor. Manager was uptight. Optometrist was uptight and one of the staff made a direct, derogatory comment about my looks. I was standing there with my wife and she compared me to some idiot off of a tv show. It was NOT a compliment. Ive got a great sense of humor, but that was totally unexpected and very unappreciated. Plus, my prescription was off.If you need cheap glasses then this is what they offer. Just dont expect much in prescription accuracy or customer service.

I am so happy we eyeglass world because I walked in with my daughter in arm and they instantly greeted me with a smile and told me make yourself at home and told me theyd be with me in a moment. I was almost helped instantly they sent me back for and eye exam within minutes. They are very attentive service. I got my glasses done today within 45 minutes. They have great selction for the low price of $78 for 2 pairs. Yes thank you Eyeglass World!!!!

TERRIBLE Customer service!- My partner has been a customer at this place for a couple of years, and has purchased a number of glasses from them, as well as eye exams, etc. He stopped in last time and inquired about purchasing a pair of Oakley sunglasses and having them sent out to have his prescription lenses put in. He was told they no longer worked with Oakley because it took them too long to return the sunglasses. We then went to an Oakley store, where we were told that we could call Oakley and get a list of eye Drs that would send them in for RX lenses. We found a pair he liked, and purchased them. I called Oakley as instructed. Oakley gave me the name and number of Eyeglass World in both Colfax and Auburn. So, he called back to Eyeglass world, got the district manager, but did not catch his name. This manager said, yes, they were working with Oakley again, and to bring in the glasses we had purchased, and they would send them in for the RX lenses. The current RX was already on file here, since he is a customer. Drove 30 mins to Auburn to take the glasses in, and was told that no, they do not work with Oakley, if you purchase your own sunglasses! The only way they would send them in for RX lenses was if you purchased the glasses from them. He explained that the district manager had just said they would indeed do it, as did Oakley. The woman there said she was manager that day and refused to do it!! He explained that he was already a customer there and they were about to lose him as a customer for the run around. She could have cared less. So, I am now posting this review and plan to call Oakley back to alert them to this scam as well. I also intend to call the head off of Eyeglass World and make sure they are aware of the terrible service here. This place needs to get their policys straight and honor them! Stop giving customers the run around and citing a different policy with each phone call. Stop wasting customers time like this!I certainly hope Oakley pulls all association with this place as well.Update: We were contacted by the store and put in touch with Chris Driver, the GM/Area Manager. Chris took it upon himself to fix this situation. He had us bring the purchased sunglasses in, and he sent off to Oakley to get the new prescription lenses.The lenses came in, and he personally fitted them into the sunglasses. The new glasses have been picked up with the RX lenses and all is well.We very much appreciate Chris jumping in on this and fixing it. He has retained a customer out of a situation that was a mess. He actually listened to suggestions and input to improve the service going forward. Kudos to Chris!

Very good experience. Working on a computer all day, I stopped using drug store readers. Eyeglass World dialed them for precise vision from my distance to the screen, now it’s razor sharp.

People at the store were very nice and helpful. What I did not care for at all was the way they sell to you...its all al la carte pricing. Everything has its own price and they start you out at the highest price on everything and seem upset when you tell them you dont need the most expensive lenses or the extended warranty...I would think for that amount of money they would give you a one year warranty. Person I talked to could not really tell if there was any warranty on $179.00 frames but assured me that the extra $40.00 purchase of a warranty would cover them. Also the manager walked up as I was talking to the person helping me and asked the sales person if the broken pair of glasses on the counter was left there bythe last customer and then said....I sure hope they had the extended warranty....really ? Did I look that stupid to fall for such a basic sales trick 101?. Then the sales person went into the benefits of getting the extended warranty. Im sure the sales person was just doing their job but it really seemed all about up selling the customer. Nice people in the store..bad corporate culture. Sell,sell, sell... profit, profit,profit. Sure seemed like they work on commission.....I would not recommend this chain.

Had a horrible experience with Amy. She looked annoyed that we were even there. She looked annoyed that i didnt know the measurements for the frames. She was just annoyed that shes even helping us at all because i wouldnt get anything extra to go with the glasses. I will go back to Site for Sore Eyes. They are nice and very helpful. I just thought i would give this place a try.

I lost my prescription sports goggles while paddleboarding in LOP. The next day I called Eyeglass World to be pleasantly surprised to get an appointment the next day. The day of my appointment my wife and I arrived to the office 20 mins early to browse the selection before hand. I was immediately greeted with a smile and began being helped. My wife started the paperwork as I went back to start the appt.The technician got me started with the preliminary tests then got me on to the Dr. My examination and tests were the most thorough Ive ever had. The Dr also offered to dilate my eyes which Ive never had done. (It felt slightly like a less acidic lemon juice in the eye)After the exam I checked out the selection to chose a more modern meets retro style and a newer style of the Liberty sports goggles. For the first time ever the tech drew a marking on my glasses where my eye level was to have the lab make these custom for me.It was more than a pleasant experience and I couldnt be happier. Thank you guys for all your hard work.
