Been here twice in the past two days. First time I got really good information and was able to get what I needed in not much time. It was before closing though. The second time was about an hour and a half before closing and I had had a problem with the original transaction. I also had a battery issue. I got the manager Chris right off the bat and he got right to the point. We worked out the battery and then we worked on the transaction issue. He was able to restart it all and it finally worked for the problem. He had a great attitude and was very professional. All In less than 25 minutes, along with answering all my questions. I was very happy with my experience.

Both customer service and coverage services have become garbage. We have been with Verizon for 15+ years and we are discovering there are many better options at a better cost! Verizon appears to disregard service complaints and recommends resetting your device. LOL. 30times a day +? BYE!

Today I was asked to leave this location. I have many complaints about verizon and how much their service has deteriorated. I certainly voiced that and I was also clear I do not blame an individual. The corporation absolutely does not care about their service or customers the way they did 10 years ago. When I told the guy next to me “they dont care anymore” I was immediately thrown out of the store. So 1. Thank you for proving that you do not care and 2. This lady knew this is my wifes phone and she was without one with my 2 children. You need to grow up and handle customer complaints like an adult. Throwing me out knowing my wife has no phone over your personal passion for Verizon corporate is immature and unprofessional to say the least

It was my first time with this company as I wanted to switch cell phone companies and I was given the run around and I kept going back as I was told too and then I was given a very bad attitude with very bad body language from a manager tell me what I was saying was a lie and the manager came up with excuses to not help me so I went all the way to Portland just to get what I want and I would give Portland Verizon a give stars but the one in Auburn sucks wont go back to the Auburn store!!

Try to call and you get a robot. If you manage to get to a point where you can ask to speak to a human, you spend 5-10 minutes on hold. Upgrading my phone elsewhere.Update: Upgraded phone via the app. Set new phone up myself. Stopped in to buy a phone case and was told I need to make an appointment. Never coming here again.

Staff are very friendly but Verizon itself is a problem. Brougjt a phone on my own that was compatible with Verizon., activated it and it worked great until the upgrade to 5G, now it wont work and they dont know why . I could upgrade for the next phone up but it is $400 if paying outright. My son has the same phone, using StraightTalk which here uses Verizon towers and no issue. I will likely be leaving Verizon since they are useless.

Id leave zero stars if I was able to. Verizon doesnt deserve a single star with the way they treat their customers. Recently I noticed my auto pay wasnt deducted from my account when it was meant to. I reached out to Verizon and was told it wouldnt be processed due to the auto pay date being on the weekend. I asked if I made a manual payment if I would be charged twice, I asked this several times during the conversation to make sure, I was told that I would not be charged twice. Fast forward a day and two payments were removed from my account. I reached out to Verizon, yet again, and was told a refund would be processed in 3 to 5 business days. I am now on day 6 with no refund. I reached out, YET AGAIN, this morning and was told the refund was processed and my ticket was closed yet the money is NOT in my bank account. This is theft. This company should be ashamed of the way they conduct business. Absolutely disgusting. 0/10. Will be cancelling my service on my next day off.

After working to switch from AT&T to Verizon, having no phones in stock and having to order them, then having the manager tell me to call the store to port my numbers I felt hopeful. I live over an hour away and felt confident that the manager would take care of this for me. I’ve called 17 times in the last hour and half (he told me he would be there until 8 tonight) and not one person has answered the phone. I understand having to wait in line at a store but this is absurd! Answer your phones!

Again I was told to call tech support from a phone and they would walk me through the steps on my phone. Told her Im not from the area and dont have access to another phone. Went in to add two new lines to an account as soon as they opened and had a little wait when one of the associates came up and said he doesnt sell phones because he is a tech guy and couldnt help me so I had to wait a little longer which was fine. Had to leave to go to another appointment and came back later in the day. When I came back the same associate that said he couldnt help me in the morning was the same person who helped me in the afternoon and added the two new lines. He didnt even asked what unlimited plan I wanted with the two new phones or anything. Not impressed with the customer service!

After I bought an S10, a car mount, an Otter box, and screen protectors, and was waiting for everything to be transferred to my new phone, I asked to use the restroom. I was told there isnt one for customers, to use the Dunkin Donuts bathroom, across the ice filled parking lot. There is a big snow bank directly between DD and the stand-alone Verizon store, and the other option was to walk the icy sidewalk ALONG THE HIGHWAY. When I asked for a refund, that I would return at a later date, I was told it would be a $50 restocking fee - for the black phone I was getting because they didnt have the blue one in stock. Guess they really wanted to keep that commission?First of all, Id like to know what handicapped people do in the situation. Second of all, maybe they could have requested one of the glorified doorholders with iPads to escort me to the stockroom to use the restroom.I was going to bring my grandfather in, as he is finally ready to ditch the flip phone, but now I have to make a 45 minute trip to Portland to make sure he is accommodated.Thanks for a horrible first and last experience.

Had an issue with my account. Not only did the associate solve my issue, she was friendly, fast, and really understood what I was saying, and what i needed to happen, and she knew how to do it. She was fast and awesome. Verizon stores have a bad reputation for long wait times and associates that dont know what they are doing. Well this is simply not true. I waited like 3 mins Max, and they really know what there doing. I highly recommend if youre looking for a phone, or if you need help with your account. Go to Verizon wireless in Auburn Maine.

I got injured here while activating a new phone, but its cool with me because they waived the activation fee and gave me like 20cents towards a phone case since I didnt have the finances for it. Not the worst experience ever. The speed of the data connection and coverage through the city is quite extraordinary and I loved the usage of their network. My phone broke recently, but there isnt any replacement assistance since I was only using a prepaid service. 10/10 great network. 5/10 awkward instore experience.

My husband and I visited on 1/17/19 to look into possibly upgrading to new phones. The associate showed us the Moto z3 which really was not an upgrade but I decided since my current phone doesnt keep a charge long to purchase it. Since I had to purchase a new case for it the associate told us about a package deal where you get the case, a wireless charger, a battery pack, a screen protector. I decided to purchase that especially since I liked the upright wireless charger. Got home and could not get the wireless charger to work. Called customer service and they stated that the charger would not work with the z3 Moto. Then why did the associate say it would? I returned everything the next day disgusted with the service I received and still no one had an answer for me as to why the associate sold me a charger that would not work with my phone. Really disappointed with the service at this store. The staff needs alot more training in customer service.

This is long, but worth the read:I was a customer of Verizon before deciding that I preferred to switch to U.S. Cellular. The reasons I chose to switch was as follows:When I went into the Verizon store on Center Street in Auburn on 09/27/2019 to purchase the newest IPhone 11 Pro Max I was told there was none left in stock, and one would have to be ordered. I said that was fine, but I didnt want to finance, only pay the phone in full. They said I was unable to pay the phone in full until the phone came in, but I had to pay the taxes up front and could pay off the phone when it came in. I tried to offer them cash, but was told I had to use a credit or debit card to pay. I showed my state ID and then I purchased a gift card and used that to pay. I was also informed that I would be put into a financing contract until I paid off the phone in full. I never wanted to be in a contract, hence why I was trying to pay the phone in full. I was also charged a 40 dollar activation fee, even though I was just buying a new phone. She never mentioned an activation fee, just included it in the taxes without telling me. I then asked if I could use a credit card to pay off the phone the next time I came in, and the woman said I could.Proceeding to around 10/03/19-10/04/19 I received the IPhone in the mail, and headed to the Verizon store to pay off the remaining balance of the phone. Upon arriving, I showed my state ID again, and was informed that not only was I required to pay in cash and couldnt use a card, but I was also told that I could not even pay off the phone until the 18th of the month, when my return policy was over. I was not informed of these things during my first visit. I mentioned that this whole experience was an inconvenience, and the sales representative responded with an attitude and a blunt, Nope, not really.October 18th I headed back to the Verizon store to pay off the remaining balance of my phone. Before I did so, I decided to speak with the manager, Chris Hanson, about the previous poor experience I had. I mentioned everything, and he didnt offer anything, not even to refund the 40 dollar activation fee they charged sneakily. I showed my ID, again, and paid off the remainder of my phone and got a receipt, under the assumption it would unlock the SIM card and now be considered my property-- and due to the several, poor experiences I had at Verizon, I decided to go to U.S. Cellular and see if I could get a better deal. I signed up for a plan at U.S. Cellular and ported everything over, only to find out the phone was still locked, and the SIM card wouldnt work with that carrier until it was unlocked. Typically in my experience, the sales rep can usually call the competing company to get the phone unlocked. The rep at U.S. Cellular mentioned that Verizon refuses to even speak with them anymore.On the same day, I proceeded back to Verizon to try and get the SIM unlocked. I was first informed by a sales rep that it would unlock ‪at midnight‬ pending the full payment I just made to the phone. Just to verify, I spoke to the manager, Chris Hanson, to which I received a vastly different answer-- I was informed that it would take 60 days for the SIM card to unlock, despite the fact that I purchased it in full, which would mean I would have to wait 60 days to even change carriers. I was taken aback. I can understand that they have this 60 day lock to prevent theft-- but how can I possibly steal the phone if Ive already paid it in full?I’m in absolute disgust with how I was treated. Verizon needs to train their employees properly to be on the same page, and make sure Chris Hanson never treats another customer so poorly. I have never felt so mistreated, and I feel as though Im being held under duress to something I never even agreed to. I never wanted a contract. All I wanted to do was purchase the phone in full.

I went back a few weeks later asking for help and received a terrible attitude from the woman who was there when I first walked in. Spoke to me like I was less than human. Verizon on Center Street in Auburn Maine has just about the worst coustomer service available. Ive been on a plan with them for a long time, have a top of the line phone, yet still get ZERO respect and ZERO help when needed. AT&T goes out of their way to help, be courteous and do whatever they can to make you happy. There is no saying no to a coustomer at AT&T. And personally I will be switching me and my family of 6 back over to AT&T as soon as possible. And if the best you can do is simple run of the mill apologies and platitudes dont bother replying. It does nothing to fix this situation. I still have a phone thats barely charging and am still intending to switch unless the situation is rectified immediately.

I pre-ordered an iPhone 6s 16gb on 9/12/15. The phone was delivered as promised on 9/25. I immediately realized I should have bought the model with more memory. I hesitated because there was conflicting info out there in VZW and MAC forums about the inability to return products to the corporate store if you purchased online. I decided to live with my mistake as I could not mail my only phone back to VZW and wait for an exchanged phone to ship. Today I received a message from VZW Support that the store would surely exchange my phone. I went to the Auburn Maine store and Darrin was just the nicest and most helpful guy you would want to meet. In thirty minutes I was on my way with a 64gb model all updated to iOS9.0.2!! Easy Peasy!
