I showed up with a new amp and subwoofer and figured it would be an easy install since the wires were already there. Hands down this is the best place to get work done. Theyve always been super honest. I had subwoofers that were not working and tested as dead. When they went to replace them the old woofers started working again. This is the third time Ive worked with Auburn Car Tunes on a car of mine and they always surpass all expectations. The staff is super friendly and really knowledgeable. Ive learned quite a bit about car audio from them as well as gotten some really killer set-ups for my cars. I can not say it enough its a great store, with a great team, and they do great work. I recommend them to anyone who demands the best from their car audio set up.

I called Auburn Car Tunes about a week ago and asked if they could install a 12 subwoofer and amp that I owned into my 2017 Honda Accord. They gave me an estimate right over the phone that included an amp kit (since I didnt have one), a line output converter for the stock head unit, and for labor (included price of disabling ANC microphones that interfere with the signal from the amplifier). I made an appointment for the following week and a young man, Wes, was in charge of my installation. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The instillation looks amazing. The sub box actually fit very nicely between the floor of the trunk and the frame of the vehicle so it wont move around while Im driving, and the wiring looks very professional. The system sounds amazing, far better than it did before the installation. Im incredibly happy with their work, and even ended up paying a little less than I was originally quoted.Thank you, Wes, and thank you Auburn Car Tunes for doing such an amazing and professional job.

This company is amazing. They are a local company who does outstanding work. I had my dodge 2500s stereo installed here and they did an amazing job. I just bought a 2017 Ford Fusion and they installed a JL Audio sub in my trunk which sounds amazing and priced very well! I would highly recommend this company!

Excellent customer service, and reasonable prices!I went in one day, when my car radio was no longer working, and the owner himself came out and diagnosed the problem for me, he explained what he was doing in language I could understand, and helped me learn just a little bit more about how my car works. Then he installed a used radio to replace the old one. All at a very affordable price.What really impressed me was that about a week later I had a problem with the radio, and he fixed it completely free of charge. He even helped me with some other minor repairs to my car that were not even related! They have truly impressive customer service, really a great place.The owner is very enthusiastic, he really loves to talk to his customers a lot. The whole place has a very different feel and vibe than a large chain would. This is one of the rarest things in our modern economy, a truly local business.

Best place for audio needs

I payed Aubur Car Tunes to install a steering wheel adapter in my Audi A4. Brian told me that he would have a steering wheel adapter installed in 30 minutes. 1 hour later the steering wheel adapter was not installed. He told me to come back after he had talked to the manufacturer of the product that he was installing. I gave him a call about a week later and he had still not contacted the manufacturer. He said he would give me a call back but never did. Overall Bryan started off helpful but ended up being flaky and irresponsible. I ended up coming in a second time and they couldnt figure out how to make it work. In the end I payed $45 for them to waste my time and they wouldnt give me a refund. Normally I wouldnt ask for a refund but they told me that for $45 my adapter would be installed. Very frustrating.

Today (03-27-13) I walked in and asked the man behind the counter (Eric) if he could help me out and see what was wrong with my stereo. He checked my fuses and found that one was blown and replaced it for free!! He had a great attitude and made my trip to Los Angeles much more enjoyable. Thanks again Eric.

I first did business with Auburn Car Tunes something like 20 years ago. Recently the owner, Ron, his manager-son, Brian, and myself had a disagreement about a service/product. I wish I could go into details, but Mr. Muenter has informed me that he forwarded my last email to him to his attorney for possible legal action against me.Enough said? Can I give a negative star without being sued?(edit after reading Cole Sanders post) My experience was very similar to Coles. I wish I could go into details.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this business. They have been extremely helpful and extremely knowledgeable every time I have come in. Just yesterday the owner helped my boyfriend and I after we blew a sub(again, oof) and we learned that it wasnt really the product we were looking for. He showed us some other options and had us out the door with new subs, and it sound awesome. This was all on top of them being extremely busy. They didnt have to help us out right then, since I was more than happy to come back with an appointment. He still spent so much time and I learned so much more about the system I have. I really would never want to choose another automotive audio business.

Excellent experience from customer service to finished result. Theyve recently completed a sub woofer/amp install (with convertor) in my 2015 Mustang with the factory deck, and previously installed a 4 channel amplifier in my 2000 Pontiac Firebird that had an aftermarket deck. Both jobs were very well done. Bryan helped me extensively, and solved an engine-sound reproduction problem in my Mustang that was said to be unfixable by multiple sources online. Additionally, I was helped/enlightened of new information on car audio by multiple employees. Needless to say, I will return in time for future projects.
