Always amazing to have a reminder of my childhood. Although i live in cali now Ive ordered their peppered beef jerky twice now. Each time cracking the bag i get hit with the smell of walking into the store with my dad. I dont know what people are so upset about,the beef jerky is priced more than fair for an operation that isnt as big or corporate as Oberto. What you get is a tasty product that isnt mass produced industrially.

Visited today for the first time. Friendly staff available to take your order as soon as you’re ready. Great selection of quality meats at a reasonable price. I took home 2 chicken cordon blue breasts, one triple mushroom and cheese breast and lastly cheese and marinara stuffed chicken breast. Had a very tasty dinner! Definitely recommend.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. Some of the chicken we got though was a little more in the fatty side. And I think I bought A pack of beef bacon that was bad and had to throw it out cause the taste was off.Other than that a pretty cool place to go for local meat.
This place was so awesome. My buddy took me here after 3 years. We came up from San Diego just for their jerky. I wish I had time in my vist to try their other products. Thanks guys!!!

They sell bison steaks.Prices slightly higher than other places, such as Safeway, though Ive never seen ribeye sold there, where as this place has a better meat cut selection.

They do not enforce their mask wearing policy which made it unsafe for my and my family.I actually like the meat market but cannot shop there anymore.While my family was shopping there, there was couple in that ignored the mask policy and the guy actually let out a BIG JUICY DEEP COUGH.That was disgusting. We got our steaks and left as fast as we could.Later we called and they told my wife that they cannot force their customers to wear it. Even though it is mandated by the governor?So they are willfully breaking the law and putting me and my family at risk. I have asthma and am at risk.I will take my money elsewhere for now on. Their loss.
This was my third trip to this meat market. In the past, going here was a treat. I go for the jerky and beef sticks. They have a fantastic selection. Everything from mild to suicide (ghost peppers). The price on the other hand is suicide. $48.00 a pound for jerky. While it taste great, it is not $50.00 a pound great. I will probably not be back.
The store was extremely friendly. All the staff was eager to help me which I thought was nice. This was my first time in the store so I took a little bit of time to decide on what I needed. Several staff members asked if I needed any help. The displays were very clean and well organized. I will definitely be back here for my meat buying. Support Local.
Short version: bring extra money because youll want to get more than you planned.Excellent meat and even better customer service. I came to these folks just needing a few steaks, and in minutes i had ordered all the steaks i needed plus a bunch of bacon wrapped, jalapeno-cheese stuffed chicken breasts because they looked way too good to pass up.

I really like this place. The bacon wrapped jalapenos and twice baked potatoes are really tasty.The reason why I am only giving this place 3 stars is because was minimal social distancing measures in place when my husband and I went there over the weekend.I feel the store should be more proactive. Perhaps putting some tape down on the floor about 6 apart in the checkout line might be good. The store should also limit the number of customers inside at one time.

They have an amazing stock of meats and jerky. You can clearly get whatever you need from them. I was disappointed to hear them make light of public health concerning Covid19, though they were wearing masks. While you might feel the masks are unnecessary, you should resist making comments to the negative while customers are present. Ill still be back though, just remind you staff they are the PR for your company.

Looove this place!! The ladies there are nice and they have a huge selection! The freezer packs are pre packaged already in the freezer for your to grab and go. Very convenient. I would recommend and they have the best pickles!

Extremely overpriced. It is no wonder, in the short time I was in there I saw 5 different employees and none of them were doing anything. They were overpriced before COVID but now after raising their prices exorbitantly its worse! The quality of their meat is not indicative of the price. The quality of their customer service is less than mediocre. If a specialty shop is going to be at minimum 4 times higher than anywhere else, I expect to be dazzled and wooed by something. On top of that, they charge almost $50 per pound for jerky! Jerky made from the cheapest cut of beef that is available. They have a sign explaining why they had to raise their prices, is their local niche even threatened due to COVID? I know commercial meat lockers are, but they claim only local. I call BS and really feel they are just taking advantage of a devastating situation. Its a gross. I have been there only a handful of times over the 12 years I have lived here, each time hoping things have gotten better. They havent it just keeps getting worse.
A sales clerk needs more customer service skills. Went to pay for a purchase and the one clerk was on the phone totally ignoring us! Finally Another clerk responded. !

I just love love love the doggy treats they have! I try to go a couple of times a month to get a special treat for my fur baby. He makes me crack up when he eats their pig ears. He will literally eat it so slow and savor the ear! With the other ears I get at that big store he just eats it and is like ok now what. Thank you for making yummy treats for them!
Good meat. But their safe distancing policy is nil and the employees dont bother to wear masks. Some of the customers were aggressive towards those wearing mask almost a right wing militia attitude

I went there for raw pigs ears to make my dogs pigs ear treats they where the only ones who would sell me raw pigs ears at a fair price they treated my very well in the store and the steaks I bought there where amazing, I went in only planning on buys pigs ears and walked out with two steaks of their best cut and if you would have seen them you would have too! Every other butcher I called would ask me what they where for before telling me the price which would be outrageously high some even told me 20$ a pound which would mean a full pound of cooked pigs ears would be 40$ way more than the price per pound of pigs ear treats at any store ive ever been too or would lie and say they didnt sell the raw ones but they had pre-made ones for 3-5$ a piece and at the time I had 6 pomeranians at home they would eat 1 each a day so thats a lot of money they helped me save and they are healthier than the ones at the big name pet stores too!

Love this place. Especially the pepperoni and beef jerky. Its always super fresh. Beware! The suicide sticks are crazy spicy. Ive eaten a fresh whole ghost pepper and the suicide sticks are pretty close to that. If your looking to prove something go ahead and try them. They do taste very good still.

The girl at the counter was very knowledgeable about the jerky they sell, as well as quite friendly to deal with! Very wide selection of real smoked jerky to choose from, and they will let you sample different flavors to find what you like. Around $48 a pound, and they will sell in pretty much an quantity. I got a 1/4 lb. of thin cut teriyaki and a 1/4 lb. of thin cut peppered... YUM! 😋

We got robbed out in the parking lot but not their fault, we left temptation on our Harleys that got jacked. Anyone that comes across a black Harley Jacket with 100 year Anniversary and Live to Ride patches on it there is a reward. This jacket is very sentimental to me and irreplaceable

This is a great place to go for jerky and smoked salmon. I really like their exotic meat but the only problem is they are always out of kangaroo which is disappointing since that is my favorite exotic meat that they have. They told me i could be notified when they get some in but have never been called.
Great selection of beef jerky. Weve also ordered thier natural turkey for Thanksgiving the past 2 years and it was delicious both times. Only wish they had more chicken products in their cases on a normal basis.

I went to this place thinking I could get a better quality product than the grocery store. Their prices are 40%+ higher so I expected something good. We bought a pork shoulder roast and it smelled bad in the car and in the fridge. When I opened the package a few hours later, I was knocked over by the stench. Once I opened the paper wrap, I could see that it was brown and rotten! How can they sell this, at top dollar, and get away with it??? Unbelievable and disgusting! Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Off to the grocery store to buy a fresh roast for the dish I need to make. What a waste.
Lots of great things to chose from. Premade gourmet chicken breasts stuffed with broccoli & cheese, chicken parmigiana, etc. Every type of meat with the exception of fish. Lots of jerky, pepperoni, etc.
Stop in there every day after work to grab a burger out of the box and a drink, have purchased plenty of steaks and other meat from them. Never been disappointed.
Smoked meats heaven!! Always used to stop here for nightcrawlers and house-made jerky before going fishing (nightcrawlers are for the fish). Fantastic selection of meats, beverages, custom made sandwiches and other stuff, too.

This is the place to go get beef jerky. It is most definitely a place for a great steak, plus its so close to Flaming geyser. Dont forget to be adventurous its all good anyway.

Just paid for a bag of Jack Daniels peppercorn jerkey. 24 dollars for 8oz. Kinda pricey but its been good in the past so I dont mind paying. Opened it and it was was full of fat pieces and the jerkey itself was so over dried it crumbled in my hands. Seemed like poor quality meat and very old. Tasted terrible. They need to put expiration dates on the bags. Im sure this was sitting on the shelfs for a very very long time.
The sliced hame was great deal as was the baby back ribs very good customer service. Prices on other items were a bit high but i guess thats the location of being city rather than country

Wonderful local meat joint. Fresh, some exotics, all yummy! Favorites are the landjeager and Pepperjack beef sticks. Take advantage of the free samples, but listen when they warn you about spicy!The people are always friendly and will take the time to share a recipe or give info on a cut or special.Weve been stopping by on our way to Flaming Geyser since I was a little girl. Now, I make a point to drive out here every time Im in the Seattle region.They do ship, though!! So, we will always be ordering our pepperoni from GVM no matter where we live.

I have loved everything in there..from beef jerkey, to bacon, pork roast, and chuck roast. I always buy the roast here for when we make tamales every year. Everyone there has been helpful and friendly. In and out quickly and the location is right off the Hwy. I can not ask for a better place to get quality meat, I absolutely love this place and have been nice enough to share the jerkey with folks and they have gone there too, we are spreading the word! Sorry i hate giving this place 2 stars because they lie on their website. they do have some of the best meat i have grilled and thats why i am upset with this place. i have been there many times over the course of about 5 years and tonight i went there for the 3rd time tonight between the hours of 7:30~7:45pm which their site says they are open until 8:00 and they have been closed. thanks for wasting my time and my gas.will i return probably. however maybe i can find meats that are the same elsewhere and i can go there instead.
