Sunday morning 11:30 and the line is long and people are clearly frustrated at the wait for their coffee or food orders. The staff (1 making coffee drinks, one on a register, and 1 making the food orders) are totally overwhelmed and disorganized. Get it together Depoe Bay!!! We’ve been incredibly patient since the beginning of the pandemic and you seem to think this is an acceptable way of doing business now on the daily. IT IS NOT OK!! More customers leave the line and exit without anything and you should hear what they are saying! To the owners of this business - WHERE ARE YOU?.

All the cool coffee shops you see in TV and movies… this place is cooler. Great people, great atmosphere, best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. I tend to stick with the Mountain Blend, but they have a dozen or so other flavors, available brewed or in bulk. I’m headed to Depoe Bay right now!

Super cool place. They roast their own beans and its right there in the store! I got a breakfast sandwich on a jalapeno cheese bagel. Its was super tasty, with a taste that was reminiscent of a nacho cheese topping. Also got an iced Americano that was on point. The service was a little slow but everything is made fresh and its worth the wait. On Saturday morning, it wasnt too busy, since theyre not located right on the freeway. We will definitely be coming back.

I really wanted to like this coffee shop. The coffee was good, but not worth being a regular. The staff could have been more personable. They wanted to know what you wanted and that was it. Not helpful in recommending options or suggestions. The seating is very limited and they wipe the counters down often. My vanilla latte was too sweet. Maybe I ordered the wrong drink.

I was very disappointed, Ive been going here for a long time. I got a ham and swiss sandwich with lettuce only mayonnaise and mustard. And they put my lettuce on the mustard and my meat on the mayonnaise. I was taught the proper way to make a sandwich the meat goes on the mustard when the mustard goes on the lettuce it changes the whole flavor of the sandwich. And I really didnt need a half a cup of mustard. But I still love you and I will still go here. Just disappointing

Bought a couple bagel sandwiches for a friend and I, menu said choice of bagel included with a sunrise breakfast sandwich. Theres several to choose from so we picked ones with some cheese looking stuff on top. Ok, so far, so good. I wanted mine with mustard, not an unusual request. Paid the cashier then noticed on the receipt that there was a 95 cent upcharge for each bagel, that seemed odd because it clearly states choice of bagel. Given that the bagels with the cheese looking stuff were along side every other choice, who would think they were a different price. Such a thing should be made clear to a new customer, no? Ok, that disapointment realized, who would further expect to be additionally charged for a single swipe of mustard? Not me or anyone Ive asked there, except the owner, who had no problem justifying the hidden costs after I gave top dollar for 2 sandwiches and a pair of coffees coming close to $30. No, theres too many choices that are much more reasonable for me to return. I did enjoy the coffee however.

So much thing to say about Depoe Bay Coffee ☕ so much kind words to put it . Like the customer service to always service our customers. Much too thank to the fresh coffee ☕ on the Middle of the isle . Love the music and its so relaxing . Like the people who fresh make the sandwich and bagel 🥯 the hot chocolate my friend said its delicious I may want to try it . The customer service is terrifically good to me . I will say the bean in the bags smells so good because I got a Italian Roast bags and its delicious good in the coffee maker when I got bag of it . Thank for what you guys do keep it up

Dad had the best potato sausage burritos..Coffee was awesome. The coffee tastes fresh and flavorful. Their breakfast sandwiches hit the spot when Im on the go in the morning. This is one of many great mom n pop establishments in Auburn. Worth a visit.

The employees are super lifeless and reserved, they seem very depressed. I specifically tipped the only lady that was kind and helpful, everyone else made me feel like I did something horrible but Im pretty sure I didnt do anything wrong? Food was underwhelming and coffee is bland as all hell, tastes like they burn their beans. If they were at least nice, I woulda done 4 stars, kindness goes a long way. Only got more than one star because of the one and only helpful lady.

Great place to grab a coffee and a clean bite to eat. It’s awesome that they roast their own coffee in house and have a TON of specialty drinks. They have both indoor and patio style seating. Some drinks run on the sweet side so make sure they know what you like!

Its a nice place with ample seating and very friendly staff.I went only for drip coffee, assuming that being a roaster they would brew it well. The self-serve Italian was empty, so I had the French roast which was labelled strong. It was just OK, and kind of weak. Only milk and cream were available, but I didnt bother asking if they had oat or soy at the counter.

We ate here on accident, but soooo glad we did!! My husband is very picky about his cappuccino and he said his iced cap was great! “It’s hard to get an iced cap right!” He ordered the Fireman sandwich and added pastrami. It was amazing! Perfect heat! My pastrami sandwich was delicious! The staff were super friendly as well! What a great find!

They didnt have lemonade but immediately replaced it with a customized drink. Delicious, fairly quick, pleasant people and atmosphere for a pretty decent price

The coffee is the best in Auburn. Great variety of real cooked foods and pastries. The whole vibe here is amazing. Lots of community people hanging out and centrally located. Plenty of room for groups and cyclists.

The bagels are amazing and I loved the pesto cream cheese. All of the different coffees were really good and its awesome that you can help yourself to more as much as you like. Definitely would reccomend!

Delicious food and coffee options, including some really different flavors. Lavender latte, orange blossom latte. A variety of great sandwich options. The side salad with the sandwich was fresh and tasty, too. A little pricey, and sometimes theres a wait because theyre so popular. But still a nice treat!

I had a blended mocha and a breakfast sausage burrito the burrito was hot and filled with lots of eggs and sausage potatoes etc the blended mocha is made with mocha milk ice cream ice and chocolate syrup and espresso there is adequate spacing you must wear a mask when you enter and after you spend $30 you get a $3 discount but you have to ask for it by points

Depoe Bay is the quintessential coffeehouse. Its right in the heart of Auburn, right by downtown. Staff is always very friendly and happy, and it has a very chill atmosphere. Love this coffee shop so much! (Try their peanut butter mocha--its legit the best!)

Great sandwiches and multiple choices of prepared coffee in warmers. However you can get fresh espresso drinks and smoothies if desired. Always pleasant faces behind the counter. Good place to meet up with people when in Uptown area.

Amazing place. I started getting into making my own espresso at home. I bought expensive coffee that wasnt very good. Then I stopped by Depoe Bay and got a lot of help and some amazing coffee. Its not very expressive and makes some of the best espresso. Idea recommend stopping here for a cup of coffee and some to take home.

Best breakfast sandwiches and coffee!

A perfect spot for me. Great place for remote work. There was plenty tables and space. Outlets everywhere. The music and other patrons werent too loud. Wifi isnt the fastest but it was stable.The coffee and bagel sandwich were both a decent surprise and priced appropriately. The service was kind and attentive to me.I have absolutely no complaints.

This little shop has an amazing mood to it as well as the fact that you feel like youve walked into some sort of fantasy steam punk tavern. They have a red phone booth that I regularly use to make calls on my cell phone so that I dont disturb the other patrons. I mean come on! That so cool!

Love their coffee! Especially their Peanut Butter blended coffee. The best blended drink Ive ever had hands down. The staff was very pleasant and conversational. They helped me make my decision by asking details about what I like and made suggestions from there. Very nice local spot with plenty of seating. Must try!

Coffee, food and atmosphere are all fantastic! Only thing that was missed was that I asked for no tomatoes in my panini and ended up still getting them. They are easy enough to pick off though and it still tasted great so absolutely worth the visit :)

Absolute best coffee shop in this small town. My mother took me here for our vacation week and bought me their blended peanut butter mocha. I swear they added a bit of heaven to it, it was the closest to perfection Ive ever experienced from a coffee drink. If you can afford Starbucks, you can definitely afford to actually treat yourself with a trip to Depoe Bay.

Depoe Bay is a cozy coffee shop, they roast in house and often have some fun flavors, the Kona is tasty. They also serve fresh made breakfast items like fried eggs and breakfast burritos. Its a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee!

Cute shop with great food. Im just a little disappointed that I couldnt taste coffee or peanut butter in my peanut butter mocha. It was super sweet. Now that I know how they make their drinks I know how to order next time. Definitely worth another try.

This has been one of my favorite spots in Auburn for so many years! The employees are always friendly and cheerful no matter how early you get there. The ham and egg breakfast bagel has been a lifesaver when I leave the house without breakfast, and one free refill included with your cup of coffee is an awesome bonus. If you think that Starbucks Coffee tends to be over-roasted and burnt tasting you will probably like the lighter roast on most of Depoe Bays roasts. Also their Wi-Fi is great so I have many times come with a laptop and found a quiet corner to work from when I have other meetings in the area.

If you are looking for the best coffee in town. Head on down. They have incredible drinks and incredible food. Even of you dont like coffee theres sometjing for you there. I personally dont like coffee, but they have any of items Ill drink, not to mention I can actually drink their coffee because its that good! They even roast their own beans, which you cant find anywhere else. Not only are they a great coffee shop, but they do a lot for the community. If you want to buy a coffee you need to go to Depoe Bay.

This is an extraordinary place to go out for a quick morning coffee, or bagel. The food and drink are both delicious and I would highly recommend this café as an intermission point for a date, or a great place to get some work done. The smell of freshly ground beans permeates throughout the building, so you really get the whole caffeine bar experience.

As someone who appreciates tea more I was a little disappointed in their tea selection. However, they are a coffee roaster and their coffee is excellent. Chai is done well here also. Nice ambience!

I must say I dont get out much but my girl took me here, must say this is my coffee spot, I love coffee & I love peanut butter with almond milk. YOU can have milk or soy milk hemp milk, Alternatives great for lactose peps like me.

Parking can be a problem. The coffee is awesome and worth the hassle parking. They roast it right there in front of you. Also big chairs an couches. Seems LGBTQ friendly to me.

My favorite place to go for excellent coffee and ridiculously good bagels. My kids love the hot chocolate and our husky enjoys hanging out in the dog friendly front patio.

Auburn has at least 30 different cafés, but this is the only one I ever go to. Such a cozy little coffee shop with great drinks and awesome sandwiches. Really nice employees, too.

Everything from mild to STRONG.They also have a great selection of food items suitable for breakfast or lunch.Im only giving them 4-stars because they dont offer free Wi-Fi.

My favorite coffee place in Auburn. Ive been coming here on and off for 10 years (I dont live locally) because of their peanut butter mocha. I get it without the ice cream or whipped cream and have it made with soy, and it is STILL thick and creamy. Its delicious and amazing.The space itself has a good coffee shop vibe, Wi-Fi (though I was having issues with it last time I was there), and an extensive food menu. If youre in town, I definitely recommend it!

Very good people just not a good fit for me beacause the music is to loud in the front area where i like to sit and read. The coffee is usually to warm to drink, but a quick steam solves that. Much better then Starbucks.

The one time the usual girl wasnt there and there was issues with every drink they said keep the drinks we gave you and we will remake the entire order and gave use all bagels since a dew orders were made after us so they gave us something to snack on while we waited. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ON POINT 98% of the time.Sorry so long but I do drink coffee here a lot oh yeah and you have double stamp Tuesday.
