I dont write many reviews, but the service was great and after a recommendation from a friend this will be my go to shop in Auburn! Excellent, well priced, fast service!

This has to be hands down the best I’ve been treated in a car shop! They made me feel like I was in very good hands, checked out my car several times to find a problem, and let me know that everything looked tip top. Nothing wrong with my car, but any future oil changes or anytime I feel unsure about a noise, I know where I’m going!

I found this location on the web and called to set-up service for my daughters car. Staff was professional and courteous and they checked the car same-day. No problems were found and that is what Deavin conveyed. Wow - talk about being treated honestly and with respect. I now have a credible location that I can trust for service and repair.

Finding a screw in a tire on my Tesla, I brought it to Auburn Tire after calling them. The manager Paul greeted me, and with no delay directed me an open bay: in minutes the screw was out and they verified that there was no air leak. Paul refused any payment. He was fast, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend this business.

I had a nail in the rear left tire of my Tesla. University Tire and Auto was the only shop I could find in the area who was equipped to safely work on my car.They were awesome. Professional, Fast, affordable, and nice. Chatted with the staff about EVs while they patched my tire and got me back on the road.

I called to get some information on transmission repair. Was talked down to. The transmission manager, (Doug I think) said Honey if you are trying to get a deal, all of my guys make way too much money. They are well paid. You need to look somewhere else. We were not discussing prices. Im not sure if this was said to me because I am a woman or what, but to be condescended by someone over the phone because I asked their professional opinion.... Taking it to the dealership.

Went by bc all my tires were low bc of the sudden change of weather. The guys there were so nice they had me pull up, inflated the tires, I didnt have to wait at all and they didnt charge me a thing.

Paul Daniel is the real deal! He is polite, honest and concerned about the work his repair shop does. My son attends Auburn U and they replaced his brakes in September of 2020. After driving back home to NY in May the back brakes started to sound like they were grinding. I reached out to Paul and he found a place 15 min. from my home in NY and the brakes were in fact defective and parts and labor were fully covered. Paul went out of his way to help us out even though we are 15 hours away! I highly recommend this repair shop and I feel quite relieved knowing that my son has a good honest caring mechanic while he attends school at Auburn U!

Devin and the team were very professional and friendly. They took their time to find out what really was the issue with my car and offer a lasting solution.I was pleased with their work and in case of any issue from now on, they are my go to car repair shop.

Brought my car here in a pinch to have a part of my steering repaired. They called me and told me car was fixed and I could come pick it up. The mechanic who fixed it “test drove” it and said it was ready to go that everything had been fixed. Picked it up and immediately realized there was something wrong when it was clearly driving out of line and then would correct itself after gaining some speed. Brought it back a couple days later and they proceeded to tell me how “lucky” I was the part was covered under factory warranty, when in reality I had paid them over double the price I should have to fix it in the first place. The guy at the front desk is essentially a car salesman even though they try to convince you otherwise. He kept pressuring me to get other things on my car repaired for pretty significant prices. Decided I would ask around and collect some quotes from a few other reputable places in the area and quickly found out university tire and auto was indeed screwing me over and had already screwed me over. These other reputable places quoted me less than half the price of university tire and auto. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Do not bring your car here for anything, not even for low tire pressure.

My daughter took her car to them and they quickly and efficiently fixed brakes and gifted an electronic repair to us. Above and beyond. Which we had already experienced by Keegan Speed - who had previously came by my daughters place to grab a flat tire, repair it and put it back on - at no expense to my daughter. Thats the kind of people that work at University Tire and Auto.

My car was breaking down a week before I had to make a 16 hour drive home for Christmas and I had a very tight budget and a very broken car. Devin and the people at UTA worked extensively with me to get a car that could safely get me home at a price I could afford and the drive back was one of the smoothest Ive had, and they fixed all these issues in less than a day. Theyre great at communicating whats going on, what will cost what, and I think give good general advice for taking care of your car. UTA should definitely be your go to reliable guys.

Great staff, and they never give up! Devon went above and beyond to get my very old, worn-out work truck running like it hasn’t in a long time. I’ve had 3 repairs done here and a couple of tires replaced and see no reason to go anywhere else. Counter staff is always friendly and helpful and the mechanics obviously know what they’re doing. Management here is top-notch.

This company will inflate parts and labor charges. I was charged over $400 just to have a new battery installed. The total bill was $487. They also added on diagnostic tests and “extras” that were not asked for or needed without getting my authorization to do so. They did not call and get my approval for any work other than replacing the battery. The auto parts stores sell the same or an equivalent battery for about $100 and many stores will install it for free. Ask yourself if you think paying $400 for a simple battery replacement is a fair price and then decide for yourself if you want to give this company your business. If you use this company be prepared to pay too much and to be treated rudely. They deserve less than the 1 rating I gave them.

Such courteous service and super quick to help. I’m an older single female and my low air pressure light was on. I had put air in myself and my light was still on. I pulled in and ask for a check, it literally took them less than 5 minutes to help me, check the pressure on my tires and they even gave me two covers for the tire air thingy’s😂 When I asked what I owed them, they said no charge. I’ve had this same issue before and other tire places charged me $10.Super nice and friendly. When I actually need new tires, this is where I will purchase them.Thanks University Tire!

After some screw ups from Best Tire (extremely misleading name, by the way), University Tire has made sure to go above and beyond to meet mine and my husband’s vehicle needs. Im an Auburn University student and work while in school so having a vehicle is a big deal. My starter recently went out and UTA had it replaced within the week. The entire crew is amazing to work with and talk to. Ive been to several shops over the years and my experience here was by far the most honest. I will be returning soon to have more work done and I highly recommend these guys. Dont go anywhere else in East Alabama.

Just Awesome! I cant say enough good things about University Tire!My son was heading home on Friday afternoon when the check engine light come on and the car went into limp mode.Devon didnt hesitate to say bring it in and they will get right on it. They diagnosed it quickly and repaired the car with only what it needed. Thank you for such great service and helping my son get back on the road. I see a lot of great reviews for UT&A and now know why. We will certainly be back.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff is incredible and so trustworthy. They really go out of their way for customers, and never try to up-sell you unnecessarily. I got a flat tire on a Friday afternoon and the manager personally drove to go get me a new tire and stayed past closing to make sure I got my car back as quickly as possible. The good folks here were able to install a quality used tire that should last until the other tires need replacing. And they did it right away and at a very fair price. Having started and ran multiple businesses over the years, I know a well run operation when I see it. You won’t find better service anywhere. My daughter had her SUV towed in from campus after breaking down. Being from out of state, I had to coordinate the entire process from a distance. I couldn’t have asked for a more efficient, streamlined process from beginning to finish.

My son had a complete blowout and was stuck at a quick stop gas station. I called University tire and auto because I saw they had high ratings. Now I know why! Unbelievable! I am from Dallas - in town (trying to pass through town) and my a/c shut down. They have gone out of their way to do correct my issue. Locating parts, talking with my mechanic in Dallas, offering to drive me anywhere I need to go... smart, trustworthy and gracious - I can not say enoughMy daughter is a student at auburn and I have told her this is the only place I want her to go for any issues with her car!!!

University Tire and Auto has terrific prices. I was originally quoted $270 to change a single tire at another tire shop but, University Tire and Auto charged me $130. Surprisingly, that is not the main reason why I would recommend this establishment. The people who work there genuinely care about you. They take the time to learn about their customers and find the best solution to your issue. Not enough businesses put the customer first, like University Tire and Auto does. Will definitely be going back when my car has another issue!

Couldnt be happier with both the customer service and the level of expertise my Lexus LS430 and Toyota Landcruiser are handled. So nice to deal with true professionals at their craft. Being an Airline Pilot we tend to be rather picky when it comes to our vehicles so how nice it was to find University Tire and work with Rick, Devon and rest of the wonderful staff.

Sons truck broke down on the interstate headed back to campus. Towing company dropped off truck Sunday evening. Monday morning staff was courteous, concerned, and attentive. Evaluation and repairs were timely, with the vehicle ready for pick-up same afternoon. Very professional experience. Will definitely use them, again.
