I would not recommend this service to anyone. I have Bosch microwave oven and fridge. They diagnosed both wrong . Their technician entered the housing bashing Bosch appliances and saying how horrible it is . He said the problem was the compressor and it was going to cost me $1500 and I am better to get a new fridge . My fridge was a bit over 2 years old ! I was without a fridge for almost 3 weeks until the part came and when the other tech came to replace it he said it was NOT the compressor but a leak in the coil . The story goes on and on . They were extremley rude after that . Same story for the oven , they ordered wrong part and finally after coming here three times they repaired it and it stopped working after few weeks again . They made me stay without a fridge over the summer for almost two months only surviving with a mini fridge with two kids in the house . they were extremely extremely rude and literally made me go into tears more than once . I do not even want to give them one star

Our experience with Maple Appliance was excellent . Maple is an honest, no bs, appliance repair company. Our thanks to Emily, Dan, and, especially, Dave for repairing a fridge that was DOA from Specialties Showroom in Berkley.Maple appliance is professional. kind, and helpful. They were able to solve the problem the seller, Specialties Showroom, ignored.. Maple cares about their business. Maple knows what they are doing. They understand that honesty = customer retention.Dave is a terrific repairman. He is very intelligent. He solves problems.Maple Appliance is five star Appliance Service company.

The individual who responded to my call was friendly, professional and responsive. Ryan, our assigned tech, was the best I’ve ever worked with. He thoroughly explained the problem as well as resolution. He was extremely professional and courteous, and is a dog-friendly individual (even to the difficult puppy like mine). If we ever require another repair again, we will be asking for Ryan by name. Thank you!

Wow. So slow in a warranty response. Its been 9 months since our ice maker has worked. They have been out twice and still cant get it right. No word for 3 months on parts on order.

So grateful for Maple Appliances and their quick and professional service! My freezer broke and a tech was out less than 24 hours after I called for help. The freezer was fixed (needed a new board) quickly and well and was back up and running by the morning. Everyone that I spoke with at the office was nothing but professional and helpful, and I will absolutely use them again if needed.

Sent out a technician to replace door gasket seal and he could not complete the job. Stated it was the wrong part. I hired another company to come out they confirmed it was the correct part with the company I purchased it from and installed it no problem. Maple appliance charged me $90 just to come out and do nothing.

I had Maple come out to repair my washer and dryer they repaired the dryer but totally failed on the washer.The washer was not draining all the way. Al, the technician came out ran a cycle and told me to put vegetable oil in my washer to clear it out. That was a failure and now my clothes smell like oil. Al came back to “repair” the washer, ran one cycle, and told me it was fixed. The clothes were still so wet I could wring them out by hand. Al, is incompetent and very condescending. He actually told me that I was doing laundry wrong (I’m 50 years old and have been doing laundry since I was 12). A second technician came to the house worked on the washer And didn’t leave a card or message to say what he did. I only know he was there because things were not as I left them in the laundry area. After calling several times, the second technician said that I needed a $300 part to fix the washer. I looked up the part it was $128 and for agitation and noise problems, neither of which my washer was doing. My washer runs fine but does not fully spin out in the final spin. Maple never followed through and charged me $320. They are terrible do not go there they will rip you off!

Made excuses for being an hour late, came in and said everything looked good and asked for 95.00. Called the office to let them know and they said they had to talk to the technician. Two days have gone by and no return call they are scammers.

Run..! I’ve used them over the years... but today dealt with a rude manager & another equally condescending employee (some confusion as to whose call I was returning.)The manager was clearly irritated with me for not being clear with him why I was returning a phone call. Clearly people are stressed but being kind goes a long way. Owner did not call me back -either because the rude manager didn’t give him the message or the owner of establishment wasn’t interested. I read an earlier review that said they would Leave zero stars if they could. There’s a reason why their average review is three stars.

During these extremely difficult times, we had an emergency without sub zero refrigerator.it stopped working and need a major part. Dave, our incredible serviceman came to our house within N hour after our initial call. He quickly figured out the problem. He ordered the part and within 3 days, came back to our house and fixed our refrigerator like new. I highly recommend Maple Appliance. They are real pros!!

If I could rate this company negative stars I would. This morning a tech came out to assess my dryer which wasn’t heating. I am a young woman who lives alone and was verbally harassed by this tech.Long story short, the tech started my dryer for 10 seconds and concluded I need $222 service. I called the homeowner (my father), who said we did not want to continue with the service. The tech was visibly upset with this, although I explained and apologized and thanked him.He proceeded to write up a $69 bill and rudely requested payment. I explained I’m not the owner and I’d call to get that. I then asked exactly what we were paying for as he truly only started the dryer for 10 seconds, he didn’t take any parts off or apart, he couldn’t show me a faulty part, and I was just curious what the charge was.This grown man proceeded to YELL in my face while shaking parts at me that he’s “worked in this business 30 years and doesn’t need to take it apart to know”. He called his manager and said I was refusing payment, which I specifically said I was NOT, I was simply inquiring on the charge and waiting to hear back from the home owner with credit card information.My father called back and I expressed that I was uncomfortable with this man, he was yelling at me for payment, and needed a credit card number. My father said okay, and I told him that the tech would call him from his own line (I was not comfortable to hand over my personal phone or step any closer to the tech).I told to tech he could reach my father from his own line OUTSIDE of my house, as he made me very uncomfortable and was behaving out of line. He proceeded to throw the receipt at me and slam through my door.I contacted his company as he sped out of my driveway. I was met with many apologies, but I am not satisfied with that. A GROWN MAN came INTO my house and verbally assaulted me, I was not sure he would leave when I asked him to. I told the company I would be checking in on what actions were taken in regards to this tech. You cannot have employees who visit homes react in such explosive ways and make the people living in the home so uncomfortable. This company is lucky the cops didn’t show up before this tech sped off from my driveway.I will update this once I contact the business again and get final confirmation on what action has been taken toward this tech.

My friends dont believe my story when I tell them. I had an oven repair scheduled. The greeted the technician at the door and introduced myself. He said hi and walked past me with his shoes on to the kitchen and began disassembling my oven. I started explaining the issue, which he was uninterested in hearing (?). He replaced a part that had nothing to do with the issue and said I was all set and began walking out. I asked him to wait because I wanted to test the oven (common sense). About my oven thermometer he said them things are garbage. All you have to do is stick a batch of cookies in the oven. If they cook, you know it bakes. I said thats a great method, but Id prefer to test the temperature with a thermometer to ensure its calibrated. He said his was broke and mine was garbage and left.Heres a shocker - after he left the oven did not work. I had to call him. He came back - walked right in the house and very abrasively yanked the oven around. He said he had to order a part and left. That was the last I delt with Maple Appliance. I had to pay $100 for nothing. The diagnosis was not done properly. I told the company I never wanted that technician back in my house and have not been back to them.

Called at 1PM on a Saturday afternoon based a recommendation from a friend who has used Maple Appliance for years. Our LG Front Load Dryer was not heating up. We were quoted $69 for the diagnosis. The technician Jay was here within 45 minutes. Took the machine apart, cleaned the inside, checked all the contacts, and fixed the problem within one hour for a total bill of $123. Fairly priced and very courteous service. Would recommend to anyone and definitely will.

Although Im never happy about having to post unflattering feedback about a business, I feel that it is important for this business to change its overall customer experience management. My wife has been using Maple Appliance Service for several years. Our most recent service call was for two separate appliances. Our gas Jenn-Air cooktop was blowing the circuit when we turned it on. The repair person misdiagnosed the issue. His second service call did not fix the issue but he insisted that we needed the part he brought anyway. Its been over three weeks since our initial appointment and our cook-top is still not working. I also asked the technician to diagnose my kitchen aid ice maker. Before even looking at it, he told me that it was probably the compressor and the charge would be $600.00. I immediately looked up the part online and found it for less than $200.00. Hesitantly, I had him move forward with the repair. He said that it was an in shop repair and insisted that I help him load it in hi struck, which I did. I received a call from another technician telling me that it also required a control unit and the repair was now going to be $1,000.00. Since my trust in this company was waning, I had no idea if I was being told the truth. I questioned the gentleman on the phone and he belligerently tried to justify his reasoning. Unfortunately I will no longer be using this company.

Have had them out for several different appliance repairs over the years. Always honest, have fit me in during emergencies, and always, ALWAYS have applied the cost of the service call to the cost of the total repair. Have repaired my dryer (still running well after 17 years), my ranges (lets not talk about the quality of KitchenAid ranges - back to Whirlpool), and dishwasher. This morning I will be calling them again to repair a top freezer on my garage fridge. If its too expensive to repair, theyll be honest and let me make my own decision. Wont call anyone else.

Wow, what a company with outstanding professionalism and service. We called to have our refrigerator fixed as we lost tons of food from it defrosting. The owner sent a guy out to our house. They were punctual and diagnosed the problem right away. There is nothing worse then waiting hours for a repair guy. This was not the case with Maple Appliance. He even brought the right part with him as the owner felt he knew what the problem was before he sent the guy out. Our refrigerator was fixed in less then an hour!! I wont go anywhere else for my appliance repairs! The owner even called to check on the repairs and the service! Amazing family friendly business!!!

I have not been able to get a reponse from these people for weeks. We have been hanging clothes on a line for over two weeks. We can’t go anywhere else because my landlord has them on contract, and they know it, so they treat us like dirt. I would never ever ever recommend this place to anybody unless you have three lifetimes to wait for them to get back you.

Worst experience ever. Consumers beware! In a nutshell: broken dishwasher, tech came, said I needed a new dispenser; estimate was $280; gave a deposit of $100 in cash. (dont do that ever!) - tech returned in a week or so; while putting in the dispenser, he shorted out and ruined the central board. They ordered a rebuilt one, John the manager and owner told me it would be better than the original one. Also told me that even though my dishwasher was only 4 years old, parts werent available anymore. Tech returned a few weeks later, installed the rebuilt electric board; dishwasher didnt work. Tech said the board was faulty. Left with my dispenser, and the rebuilt board. So I have no dispenser, no central board, and no working dishwasher. Company has all scam artists for employees and manager owner John (Lackey? Lackie? last person I spoke with on 6/1/18 said she was new and didnt know how to spell his name) - lies through his teeth and hasnt returned my calls as he said he would and now, Im told, is out of the office until 6/4/18. Hes apparently not at his place of business most of the time. What a joke of a business.

Ugh, if it was possible to give zero stars thats what I would have done. We had a tech come to our home to repair a 1 1/2 year old Bosch dishwasher that had an error code that specifically stated that something was clogging the filter. Our repair man came out, sat at our kitchen island for 30 min, ran a rinse cycle and told us we needed to use different soap, slapped us with a $69 service call bill and was on his way. I went online the next morning, watched a YouTube video and pulled out a small piece of glass within 10 min. We called and asked for a refund, twice, they blew us off and told us they would call us after the holidays.

I should have read the reviews. They tell you on the phone the service call comes out of the total if you decided to have them fix it.( Like most companies) But trust me that doesnt happen. Then they are so vague at what needs to be fixed. When you ask they give you the run around and I have been waiting for parts and a call back for 2 days. I just hope they fix my fridge soon so this will be over. I know that its probably to late to cancel because they probably wont give me my deposit back.

Avoid at all costs.Maple Appliance was hired to fix an Ice Maker. After fixing the Ice Maker the repair man never even bothered to check the back of the freezer after turning the water on. The house was for sale and when the soon to be owner walked in there was a flood. It ended up costing my sister $80,000.Maple Appliance Service referred us to their Insurance company Hastings Mutual Insurance. They are not helpful. It has been 4 months and they wont respond promptly to emails, phone calls, or any inquiries.I felt compelled to write a review to prevent others from experiencing this nightmare. Be sure you ask Maple Appliance Service if they switched their Insurance Company. If they are still with Hastings Mutual Insurance just know that it will likely be difficult to get what you are owed in the unfortunate event something bad happens.Lesson: Do your homework on both the service provider and their Insurance company. Just being insured isnt enough.

Had these guys come out to service our dishwasher. After sitting there for an hour watching the machine run. The tech told us the issue was either the soap we were using or that we needed a new drain pump board. After they left, my wife watched a single youtube video and solved the issue in about 2 mins by removing a shard of glass from the filter. Called to tell them I didnt think they earned their $69 fee.... never called me back. Called again and they said they were too backed up to discuss and that they would call me back in about a week once things slowed down. From this experience, it looks like youtube offers much better, and more insightful service, than these guys. My recommendation is that you help them slow down there workload and go with someone who provides at least a little more expertise than what can be found with a quick internet search.

Horrible. This Al guy who did our work. Pinched the water line so he could work on it,,great. Then left for the 2nd time with the line pinched...dumb. I call them back and the guy is arguing with me saying it probably was something else...really dude. come back and fix my line...that will be tomorrow...go some where else...totally unprofessional.
