I never do reviews but after reading several reviews I thought I needed to share my experience.I got new tires at Gateway in Atoka but they didnt do an alignment because the person at the front desk said they were too busy. I asked if I could bring my car back the next day (Friday) but he said that they had a ton of work through Monday. The customer service was really bad. It was like they didnt want my business. Ive taken my car to another shop.Now I need to get some AC work done to my car and would like to take it to gateway for convenience but I definitely dont want to be treated that way again. Im very easy to get along with and willing to work with someone to schedule a time. But if you dont take appointments, then how can you know you are going to be too busy 3 days into the future? Can I trust you to take my car in for AC work and know that I will be treated fairly???

Just dont waste your time here...waited over 2 hrs for them to tell me they wouldnt do a simple tire rotation because my tires wasnt up to their standard to do it then they tried to sell me tires and wouldnt offer even a free alignment if I bought the tires. I wouldnt spend 350 for just 2 tires and pay to get them put on and not even a free alignment. Wasted all of my morning here to be told they wouldnt do the rotation. Wont be coming here again.

When they tell you an hour and a half they mean three hoursUPDATE: Someone from the store called me and apologized and explained to me how they have been short staffed on technicians. All the same if someone had just told me I would be there for three hours I would’ve been fine with that.

I spoke with some guy named Will over the phone after I got my tire plugged because it was flat the next day. I told him I saw where they put the plug where a nail was in my tire which I agreed with him that there most likely was but also that I ran over a board with nail in it so that nail wouldn’t of stuck in the tire. All he did was argue with me that there was a nail in the tire and I kept telling him I don’t doubt it. So I began to repeat what I said about the nail still being in the board I ran over and all he did was argue and talk over. So in my opinion the shop as a while is very unprofessional and if you want my advice got anywhere else than gateway it’s not worth the argument.

They staff in the front are always rude and have different requirements everytime you bring your vehicle in for service. Ive never had any issue with the service of my vehicle and they have always fixed any issues. However, the inability to conduct proper business edict in an establishment is an embarrassment. Not only for this place of business, but for the town as well. I will no longer be bring my vehicle in hopefully we get a decent tire shop in the area that will service fleet vehicles. If for personal use use munford tire and brake. They will fix you up right and provide caring customer service.

I am blind business owner in the Brighton area, I sent one of my vehicles here for an oil change.There was an issue that came up that meant the vehicle would have to stay longer than expected. They helped get my employee back to our warehouse while the vehicle was being worked on.I am unable to drive (obviously). And I cannot express enough gratitude for this, They even helped get one employees back to their location to pick the vehicle up.Great staff, excellent service. Thank you for being accommodating. I know where I will be taking my commercial vehicles from now on.You all made my day!

Did a great job fixing my rotors, as well as a oil change and tire rotation. Very honest about what I needed and didnt need to have done. Staff was very friendly and happy to help.

I found out why my truck was leaking antifreeze yet I also paid for a diagnostic for my oil leak...was told I needed ball joints and sway bars replaced...i may not be a mechanic but I do know that front end work has nothing to do with an oil leak.

Ive had Gateway work on both of my vehicles several times. I really love that they dont try to push all kinds of extra work on you. They fix what you ask them to and thats it.Of course theyll warn you of any major issues, but what Im talking about is when the repair shop brings you this huge, long list of inconsequential repairs that must be done, and then try to high pressure or guilt you into getting it all fixed. Gateway doesnt do that.Ive never had a problem with any of the work theyve done for me. Ive bought tires and had brake components replaced.Five stars from me. Highly recommended.

Nice people fairly prompt service open fairly late on a Saturday prices are kind of high did not replace valve stems with new ones said they would then try to haggle about whether they should or not all in all not horrible not great.

I stopped by the day before and was informed to be there early so I will not have to have a long wait. I arrived at 7:45 a.m. And they had my truck pulled in the shop doing to work on it by 8:15 a.m. The tire rotation and balance was completed by 9:15 a.m. Thank you Gateway for such good service. Everyone was polite and efficient

The service and hospitality was awesome. The price was also reasonable.

A little pricey compared to local mechanics but you get what you pay for. All Mechanics are highly certified and the whole experience was professional, accommodating, uneventful, and overall quite pleasant. I fully trust in all the work they have done to my truck to keep it on the road. Ive had numerous issues with my truck and have spent over $4000 in the last 3 years and have never had the same issue twice. Knowing that they expeditiously fix all my repairs correctly every time I need them to is why I will always bring my vehicles there.

**Update** After they confirmed with vw/ Audi they now will do oil changes with the recommended oil of 0w30 full shin. They use pens oil but I have been there a few times even had other issues which have been solved quickly.** Old Review **They would not read the service bullet out by VW/ Audi. They refused to change my oil unless they filled it with the incorrect oil. If you have a newer VW or Audi diesel be careful they will fill it with non VW507 Approved oil and fill it up with 5w40.

Needed a patch on a tire because it had a nail in it. They called and said they couldnt do it because of where the nail was and would need a new tire for $150. We took it somewhere else and they did it for free. We will never go back.

I went in and had some issues with the an alignment on my car. Will the manger really stepped up and helped out, he did everything he could to calm the situation. You really couldnt ask for a better manger to go out of his way and make his customer happy.

Best service and great tires

Always use Gateway. They are friendly and honest. Very helpful and always do a great job on our vehicles. Well keep coming back. We love the one in Atoka. Will is great! And so is David! Just bought a tire from them this morning before a funeral.

Painless is the best word to describe my experience. Dropped my truck off for alignment and tires mounted, was told it would be several hours and i recieved a call when it was ready. Turned out better than expected would like to give a big THANK YOU! to Gateway tire you have earned a new customer.

Ive been going to this Gateway tire in Atoka for years and have and have nothing less than excellent service. Truly professional and friendly people.

Fast! I just walked in kind of out of the blue; no appointment - for a tire balance/rotation job. They had me out in 20 minutes. I watched them through the waiting area window, since Im a bit of a skeptic when it comes to having someone else do my automotive work, but they put the care and attention to detail into the job that I would have myself. Torque wrench on every nut; Checked brakes and other suspension items etc. I was impressed. I normally do all my own work but just dont have a wheel balancer. I wouldnt hesitate much to take other work to them if I couldnt do it myself.

The guys at Gateway Tire in Atoka TN are the best! Found a construction screw in my tire same day as a family loss, and needed a quick repair. Done perfect in half a hour and just made a 12 hour drive on that tire! THANKS Gateway Tire Atoka!!Mark Reynolds- new client and will come back!

Unless your ready to spend lots $$$$ they will help.I always have problems with tires. Always told they cant fix the tire needs to purchase new. I went to the dealership and they stated all the tire needed was a patch. Bought tires for another vehicle and since its been a few years we were told they couldnt even rotate, that we need to buy new. Gave us a price of $1,200.00. Well they definitely lost my business.

I have been taking our cars to this Gateway Tire for nearly 10 years. They are always extremely polite & helpful. We get all of our oil changes & tires from them. We have also had tuneups & car repairs done. One part on my Dodge Caravan has given me trouble since the month after the warranty ran out. Gateway charged half as much as the dealer to fix it (with dealer parts). When it failed again they replaced it at no charge to us. I have found them to be honest & reliable. They also never talk down to me like many car-related businesses do.

Ive been a customer of the store in Atoka, TN for several years. Everything they have done for me has been honest. The work has been good quality. They are less expensive that auto dealerships.All of my truck tires have been bought from them for the last 3-4 trucks.

I have been using Gateway Tire of Atoka for over 10 years with absolutely no problems. The staff is extremely helpful, polite, and efficient. All of my vehicles get oil changes, tires, brakes, alignments, radiator flushes, rotations, and much more done there. Clean facilities great service and they are beyond helpful. There is still hope for this country! Im a nineteen year old college female with no knowledge about vehicles and went in because my tire kept going flat. Well they fixed the problem tire, checked all my other tires, fixed another leaking tire and replace some broken nut things. And they only charged me for the one tire fix! I will go back and pay them now that I can afford it but as a struggling college student that was a major act of kindness.

Very qualified mechanics. Prices are a little high compared to other local shops but you seem to get what you pay for. Plus all work is guaranteed. This is where I bring my truck.

I have four vehicles and I always take them to the guys in Atoka. They have always taken good care of me. I found a huge screw in my tire and tried several places in Millington to fix it at 345 on a Saturday. Called Gateway in Atoka(which closed at 4) and they said they would wait on me. Ended up tire couldnt be fixed. They put on four new tires and I was on my way by 5:00... I highly recommend them!Thanks again guys for going above and beyond!

Went to this location two weeks ago and after the oil change I had an issue with my engine. I called and talked with Will Vandiver he immediately called a tow truck and had it brought back to his shop after the issue I found was fixed he went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay I will be using them for my vehicle needs. Will Vandiver was very professional and explained everything that I asked about. thank you for the help.

Dont take your car here, went in for an oil change and now my front passenger side window will not roll up. Representative would do anything about it even though it was working went i came in now its suddenly broke.

Been to this location twice and both times they call and say something else is wrong with the vehicle and it will cost more money. This time I brought the van in for a new battery and they called to say after installing the new battery the guages and radio doesnt work but for $90 an hour they can find out what was wrong. Upon getting my vehicle back it took me 2 minutes to see they left a wire off the positive side of the battery causing the guages, radio and a/c not to work. They are crooks and should be avoided. $90 per hour labor rate is more than your local dealer and they cant even install a battery right!

Asked for simple safety checks on a trailer I purchased and they did not want to do the work. Lazy and uncooperative. Waited over 2 hours to get tires and brake lights checked. They went out of there way to talk me out of all other work knowing I have a 7.5 hour drive home across 3 states. Glad I dont live near theses clowns
