Shoreline did a pre-purchase inspection on our boat. They provided a list of recommended repairs/maintenance along with a cost estimate. Seller agreed with Shorelines recommendations and reduced his price accordingly. We bought the boat, Shoreline did the repairs/maintenance, and boat has been running great. I have been taking my boats to Bob, Chris and associates for 18 years. I have recently had a horrendous experience that will cause me to never go back. They kept my boat for 13 weeks to diagnose a sporadic running issue. After 13 weeks I finally took the boat back. I am out the hundreds of up front money for parts and my boat is not even diagnosed. day after day of BS turned into week after week. My favorite.... I just ran it and am thinking it is a fuel issue. I am waiting for the fuel to cool down so I can pull the pick up or it will spray back in my face. three days later.....I just need to pull the pick up and check that for debris.......2 more days later.....We are going to pull the pick up and check it for debris.......3 days later after the same BS over the phone I commandeered my boat back from the exact same place it sat for weeks....great guys that have burned out..Bob sits in his chair in the shop for hours that could be spent turning around customers boats. Chris is so busy running a mobile service he is unable to help out so nothing gets done.
