I have been looking for a mechanic and came across all of the positive reviews for Heart of Spades Garage. Yesterday I took my car in because the check engine light came on. My car also needed the air conditioning system replaced and new tires. Kyle replaced the mass air flow sensor (thats what caused the check engine light), replaced the compressor and condenser, replaced all four tires, changed the oil and replaced two air filters in less than 5 hours and charged an incredibly fair price.I am beyond impressed with Heart of Spades Garage, plan to continue to use them for my auto repair needs and recommend them to everyone.Thank you!!!

On-the-spot welcomed, rapid and efficient service. The mechanics are knowledgeable and the owner is fair, honest, and good family man. Not a big automobile shop name, but a good shop where you would not pay for a name but a job well done. I approve.

Just moved to the Neptune Beach area and had the brakes go out on my car. Called and told them what was going on with my car. They said they might be able to get it done today. While I was getting ready to get the car there they did a follow-up call to get more details. Once I got there I was warmly greeted and treated well. Because they did a follow-up call they were able to get the part needed and was able to get the car fixed same day. Priced reasonably and quality work. We have found our garage to work on our cars. I would recommend Hearts of Spades Garage to anyone needed quality work done with affordable prices and timely completion.

Been here twice and both times were a great experience. Fair pricing and transparent services. They don’t Jack you around and try to sell you extra parts you don’t need like some shops. As long as I’m in Jax I won’t go anywhere else.

Really happy to have found an honest and reliable shop at the beach. I brought my Lexus SUV by with a few different issues that needed to be fixed. I was able to use the key drop in the morning and Kyle called me a few hours later with a very reasonable estimate of the repairs to be done. I was kept in the loop the entire time and picked up my vehicle in a timely manner. I appreciated the clear and itemized bill of the repairs performed as well. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I would give six stars if I could! I brought my Tacoma to the garage because it kept turning over when I was trying to start it. I figured it needed a new starter bc I had recently repaired the battery already. I brought the truck in same day that I called. Heart of Spades called me a little later to let me know the starter was now working just fine. We tried a few more things to recreate the problem, but it continued to work fine. I was so appreciative that the garage was honest with me. Rather than just going ahead and “fixing” what I had requested even though it was now working fine. It would have been very easy for a mechanic to take advantage of me over this! Then Heart of Spades also noticed that my oil change sticker was overdue and went ahead and gave me an oil change saving me lots of time from taking it in somewhere else when I finally noticed the need for the oil change. Thank you so much!!

I love these guys!!! Although I have never met the other guys....the one in the office is friendly & knowledgeable. I never need an appt. You have to understand I am 62. Not that my age makes a difference. He stops what he is doing and helps me. I hace ann intoxalock. He is just such a people person. Most mechanics are grouchy. Not him!!!. I will not go anywhere else. I requested to be transferred to THEM...AL THE WAY FROM OCEANWAY....

Always great service! I truly feel that Justin puts me needs first when I go to get my car oil changed and looked at. When I heard squeaking from my wheels, he told me it was my rotors and that I could still use them until the next oil change. I really appreciate how he is willing to save me money by giving honest opinions on when to replace things so I can maximize my money and life of the parts.

My husband and I had a great experience working with Kyle. He had prompt responses, honesty regarding the repairs and quick turnaround.We were new to town when we needed to replace front and rear brakes in our SUV. Neither if us being car savvy, we called around to multiple shops and dealerships. Kyle’s quote was by far the lowest. Additionally, while other shops said that we needed an alignment and new tires “immediately,” Kyle gave us an honest assessment, suggesting replacement of tires in the next 5,000 miles (not “immediately”) and noting that an alignment wasn’t necessary.Finally, due to our jobs, we were worried about how to get the car to/from Kyle, but he also made that super easy for us with a key drop and acceptance of payment via phone.All around great experience. Will return!

Really upstanding owner. I made an appointment. Showed up at designated time. He got me right in. Diagnosed the problem and then attempted to fix the problem in the most cost effective way possible. When my check engine light came on after service, the owner got me right back in and fixed the issue. The cost to fix the problem was 1/8 of the cost the dealer quoted me. Will never again be going to any Ford dealers. Will be sticking with HOS for my car needs.

Im a car guy but I got a job this year that has me working 70+ hours a week. So I needed help with working on my babies. I wouldnt trust anyone but Justin to take a wrench to my car. I also ended up buying a used car off of them and it runs like a top and they kept to their word about if anything goes wrong theyll help me out.Its not to common that you find a fair, competent garage anymore. These guys are aces in my book and I recommend them to all of my friends.
