I have only came twice so far for maintenance. However, from just these few visits, you can see right away that they are honest mechanics that wont install items without your knowledge, wont work on other things beside what is stated, wont coerce you into installing or fixing things that doesnt need to be fixed or replaced.As usual, its hard to find an honest Auto Repair and Body shop in Mayport area. I moved to the neighborhood 2 years ago, did not know anything about this area, not even to say auto repair and body shop. After getting tired of doing my own repairs/maintenance, I decided to do a careful research before giving my car to anybody in this area. Luckily, I found Auto Clinic auto shop. Been there a for a few things now, inspection of motor problems, transmission, and steering column very efficient and professional service. I feel like they finish everything and the price is less that I expected, great value.It is the place that I dont have to worry about being ripped off and feel trustworthy.If you live in the neighborhood of Atlantic Beach, Mayport area in Jacksonville, go check it out by yourself and youll understand what Im talking about. I challenge anyone to find a better auto body shop as friendly and honest as Auto Clinic.

The Auto body shop was a Horrible experience.They left over-spray all over our wind shield. Some places are rough.Some places look like orange peel.Didnt hook up our license plate light.Rocco at first was really friendly of course, but ended up being a real weasel and was real rude to my wife.He would say it will be done by the end of the week, then when my wife would ask him at the end of the week he would get mad at her. Calling her crazy and a horrible mom. He always had a different excuse. But would promise it would be done next week again. She was alone with our daughter while I was gone for a month in the Navy.I wish he would have been straight forward about how long it would take and the price. It went from 1 week for $3500 to 5 weeks for $6100.Im starting to get mad again thinking about this place.

Rocco the owner is honest and professional. He was great at repairs and service. He was knowledgeable and informative thru the whole process. I was put in a horrible situation and he relieved my situation asap. I was very grateful and felt i could trust my car in his hands. Thank you again for the care n customer service.

Had a great experience with the auto clinic. Rocko was honest and up front about the work that needed to be done and finished it in timely manner. the staff at the auto clinic even went the extra mile and detailed my truck in front of me! Was I lucky to have Dwight at Kauffman Tires recommend this place.Someone else quoted $4500 for repairs to transmission on my Lexus. Was done here for $440. Less than 10%.

Rocco and his crew are great and did a wonderful job fixing our truck after an accident. Even got the brakes done while the truck was there. Definitely would go back if the need came up!

WISH I COULD GIVE A ZERO!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Auto Clinic Engine and Body Work on Mayport Road. My childrens father died suddenly while his truck was at this auto body shop. The family called immediately to let them know and the Auto Clinic staff said they would hold onto the truck for free until his oldest son, WHO IS IN THE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY, could get leave to get the truck. Auto Clinic started charging him $35 per day to hold the truck beginning the day my childrens father died. His oldest son had to get a special leave from his CO to travel from Kansas to Jacksonville and then they charged him storage. I am absolutely appalled at the abhorrent way they would treat a man serving in the military who just lost his father. SHAME ON YOU AUTO CLINIC ENGINE AND BODY WORK! I will delete this if they do the right thing and make this right with the family but, in the meantime, their phone number is 247-0566 so feel free to call them and tell them what you think (dont be vulgar - disappointment goes a long way) and post a review on their google site. PLEASE. Who does something like this to a grieving family that includes an active duty service member? To make it worse, friends tried to go get the truck for him, but they held onto it saying that they had to have proof of a new title in the new name. They basically held the truck hostage and ransomed it back to the family with an inflated bill!!!

SCAM ARTIST! Stay away from here unless you want to be scammed. They will run you over, do work on your car without your authorization then get mad when you ask what the problem is, request an estimate (even when it was asked for prior to work being done) and say you owe them when you have no idea what for. They then say they wont let you have your car back without paying and that they will charge you extra fees for leaving it. Also, DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD FOR ANYTHING!!! Have it all in writing. They will tell you one price and then to cover themselves they will write down one that in my case was more than DOUBLE what was verbally stated for a diagnostic. I highly recommend you DO NOT go here under any circumstance.

Charged someone $35/day who is active duty for not being able to get his fathers car out immediately after the father passed away. How could you do this to someone who just had such a loss? And who is military for our country? Shame on you Auto Clinic Engine.
