This was a place EVERYONE told us we must go because it was the “BEST”. It might have been over hyped but we were a little disappointed. Personally I grew up overseas and this is ice cream not gelato.We got two scoops the Strawberry Shortcake, which to us tasted like vanilla ice cream with strawberry jam and a few crumbs then due to the suggestion of the employee we got the Chocolate Brownie, it was rich, rich, rich and tasted really dark, it definitely not what we were expecting. To eat there own though.

Cool flavors, but this isn’t Gelato. I have had a tone of Gelato all over Europe and the states and this didn’t have the right texture. Gelato should be denser and smoother. Even when I saw it in the display case I thought it didn’t look like Gelato. In the end I would say it’s okay, overpriced, ice cream!

I usually love this place. People were nice. However, its very overpriced now. I received 3 baby spoonfuls of ice cream. They literally did not come close to filling the cup they put it in. I felt robbed. Its delicious but you will pay full price for a small sample.

It was a busy Friday night (04/16) and there was only one employee working. She did a fantastic job at being patient, kind and working fast and efficiently. I didn’t get her name (unfortunately) but that girl deserves a raise! Moreover, they have unique flavors that are so yummy! I got the honey lavender and lemon raspberry.

Had two scoops of gelato, one was a variation of cookies and cream and the other was chocolate and brownie. Both flavors were great. The prices were a little on the higher end, but I’d say it’s worth it.

I had been to Ponce city market plenty of times but never seen this treasure. The line was huge but it was well worth it. I ordered Nutella gelato with cookie lava cake. The combo was very delicious but the cookie by itself wasn’t very tasty at all. The staff was extremely nice in explaining everything to the newbies. My wife ordered the cone with butter flavored gelato which honestly was better that what I had. Will definitely visit again!

I orderd Lemon Raspberry crumble and Orange poppyseed. Both of these were super smooth and very tasty.

Love their flavors! Not too sweet but hits the spot. They moved locations within PCM to just next door. You can’t try flavors now, due to covid, but honesty I think that helps the line go faster now👍🏻 Free cone on top of your cup upon request!

Service was great, got two samples, and a pint which had a cold sleeve with it. Nutella was good, I preferred the strawberry.

So so kind, and the gelato was amazing. The service and kindness of the employees blew me away.My boyfriend and I decided to hop around the restaurants and try a few things at each. We were stunned by how kind, and genuinely caring everyone was. Our service was enough to make us contemplate moving (we were visiting from out of state). I highly recommend!

I have been coming here for years. Sometimes when I really have a craving during a diet or after a fast, I come all the way here to get me a scoop of Gelato. The people that work here are very kind. Never had an issue, I always tip well for this. And its just so cute! The shakes are great and the flavors are great. Im always getting caramel on something lol my mom loves the vegan double chocolate option because she cant have milk at all and we tested if and she didnt get sick at all. No reaction and she loved it. Cones are free with scoop.Thankyou for having me. Will always be a customer

Creamy Ice Cream!I tried dark chocolate and salty caramel brownie.

Smooth and very fresh. Its a little pricey, but they have excellent and friendly customer service along with samples of the flavors you wish to try.

Gelato shop inside PCM. I was excited to try after hearing great things about this place. I got to try any flavor. I got the brown butter crunch. The crunch tasted like toffee. It was creamy and delicious. However it’s expensive for a small scoop.

I definitely enjoyed the Honey & Fig flavor gelato! I could taste the small real pieces of figs. It’s great to know my purchase would make the world a bit nicer since this store donate 5% of companywide profits.

Great place for gelato

This wasnt gelato, but icecream. Nasty flavors and texture. Highly disappointed.Please take notes from the Philadelphia based gelato eateries. Now, thats REAL gelato. Real gelato has a taste and texture thats out of this world, truly delicious and unforgettable. Period.

Im always on the hunt for dairy-free frozen desert options and was thrilled by Honeysuckle Gelatos options. Specifically, their sorbets are some of the best Ive ever tried! The raspberry is delicious -- its the perfect balance between sweet and sour -- I could eat it every day!Whats also impressive about Honeysuckle Gelato is their ability to have their pint products match their in-store product in terms of quality and taste (something that I think a lot of ice cream manufacturers struggle with). If you dont have the chance to visit one of their stores, Im confident that youll also be impressed by their pint products (I know I was/am!).((Just a note // While I cant personally eat any of the regular dairy-containing products, my friends and family speak highly of them as well! Family favorites include the sea salted caramel and chocolate.))

Their ice cream is silky, rich and as creamy as you expect from gelato. The only problem I have is sometimes its hard to choose from Honeysuckle or King of pop next to it after finishing my meal at PCM.

They moved outside right across Lily Rain. I ordered a mango pop and a banana pudding cone. They tasted like real fruits with just the right amount of sugar! Staff was very friendly! A very special place at the Ponce City Market.

The people behind the counter aren’t all that friendly and the ice cream taste great but for the price ur paying you get very little ice cream . THEY ARE VERY STINGY WITH THE ICE CREAM.

Their sherbet was delicious! The customer service was great and so were the prices. The only negative is that its so close to the other shops, so you dont know where the line starts. But it really is worth the wait.

They say gelato is just overpriced ice cream. I was not disappointed there. I liked it. It was good. I was not impressed with the portions. Like everything in Ponce City, the place had a nice hipster vibe. They have wooden spoons instead of plastic which was a nice touch.

Those with Celiac disease beware.I went here for the first time recently and asked one of the waitress working at honeysuckle which favors were gluten free. I was told all except for the ones with cake batter. I ordered the Lemon basil raspberry and about halfway into my scoop knew that Id been lied to. NOTE TO THE OWNER: please confirm and certify by posting at your stand whether you are gluten free or not. The waitress likely gave me her common sense reasoning that only the flavors with cake or cookie dough contain gluten. Gluten sensitivity and celiac disease should be taken seriously by restaurant owners and their staff. Sweet name, sour service and experience!

Friendly staff, quick service and nice ice cream. Its certainly not gelato though and for the price youre better off going to Amorino. At least theirs is somewhat closer to what you will find in Italy.

Their gelato is so rich and SO delicious. You are missing out if you havent tried Honeysuckle Gelato. The best part about it is that they are located in Ponce Market and there is a lot to do Ponce.

I love the honey fig gelato they have sometimes. I also love how they are environmentally conscious. They also donate proceeds to charity.

I’m sorry, but no. At best this is a creative ice cream stand—but seriously, the flavor swirls had melted into oozing puddles that ran out of the base of the “gelato”—it looked horrible... If you’re brave enough to taste it, you might find it interesting—but anyone expecting real gelato will be disappointed. For much more legit gelato, hit up Voga or Paolo’s. The girl working the counter was very nice tho...

Look, its delicious, but poorly ran. Came here on a busy day, sure, but my family was told they would have to wait because someone went to go get the glasses required for their shake. No joke, 25 minutes later , after my family had given up, the cart with supplies comes back. So my family went back and tried to insert themselves into the line, because, you know for 25 minutes they had been waiting patiently at the side as instructed. When I complained about his lack of professionalism, all I got was incredulous blank stares. Look, its a busy day, but you could apologize, or maybe double your stock of cutesy giveaway jam jars. Or buy cups. I have almost 10 years of restaurant experience with some.management. good gelato, but good taste and cute aesthetic arent all that matters.

They have good gelato, but what I think it is key about this place is its location. It is perfect to go buy a gelato and walk around the market. Wait list 15-20 minutes approximately.

A MUST if youre ever in Ponce City Market. I actually consider getting dessert first whenever we come here to eat. My favorites: coffee, brown butter, and of course, Nutella. The coffee flavor is for you if you actually want your gelato/milkshake to taste like bold coffee instead of that watered down ish. The Nutella is so good youll want to make out with it, then bathe in it. Seriously, go.
