Pricey but not executed. Coconut cake and the pumpkin crumb are so thick and dry. Best thing was the mocha.
OMG! Ill be back tomorrow 😫. My cappuccino was very good but ridiculously hot. Careful folks.
I would recommend a doughnut to try but id end up listing them all. This is an amazing local coffee and doughnut shop I will tell everyone to try. Dont be intimidated by the long line it moves as fast as a chick fila line and well worth the wait.
Love love love! Their doughnuts, the only thing that I’m not a fan of are their business hours & the quantity they make. I would love if they offered SAME DAY ordering like their comp. They have a huge customer base & always have a crazy line so staying open another hour or two and making an additional dozen of their popular flavors wouldn’t hurt anyone. Not sure if this is on purpose to create a sense of exclusivity or sense of urgency but its way more money to be made, why not get it? lol If you want doughnuts on the weekend and you live on the opposite side of town, youll have to be there by noon to catch the good flavors on the weekend, not cool, especially when you work through the week and cant get to them.
Probably my favorite donuts in Atlanta! Sublime is really close though. Enjoy that revolution has cake and yeast donuts. The Almond donut is hands down my favorite! Also cant go wrong with the blueberry or the vanilla bean. The chocolate pudding is a VERY dark chocolate. A little too dark for me, but if you are a dark chocolate person this is up your alley.Yeah, they are not cheap. But, you pay for quality.
First- their ordering protocol is great. They buzz you in and you order and move thru the line exiting out the side. The donuts are great. So good they make can vegetarians regret their life choices. The raspberry lemon looks straight out of the Simpsons cartoon - it looks so perfect it makes you say donuts. The ham and cheese donut should have been terrible but it was a nice little surprise. Every donut especially the peaches and cream snit was spectacular. Love supporting local businesses making great food.
I think I’ve finally found my donut spot in the city. The flavors are awesome and the prices aren’t too bad. Also a big fan of the savory breakfast “donuts”!
Standing in line never felt so good, moved quickly and donuts DELICIOUS DELICIOUS.THANK YOU!!
I love their donuts, I was really disappointed when they let a customer bring there dog inside the store. From my understanding to the store policy there a no dogs allowed ( unless it a service dog) but I guess certain rules apply to certain kind of people .🤦🏽♂️
Such creative flavors and variety of options. Loved the incorporation of fresh fruit. Yeast donuts were like a cloud with just the right chew. So yummy!
I am a doughnut junkie so I knew that this was a place for us to stop when driving through. The flavors are strong and on point, so keep that in mind when you’re picking! Some of the flavors weren’t our favorite but I would go back for that raspberry sprinkle ANYDAY. These are doughnuts you should eat the day of because they don’t last and get hard within a day.
Best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. Out of all the cities I’ve been to, this donut shop is #1.I got the raspberry sprinkle and the chocolate black out donut. Both were so soft and flavorful. You have to come here if you’re visiting Atlanta.
Delicious doughnuts and reasonable pricing. Vegan option doughnuts are available here. We went there abt 10 in the morning & there were a long queue due to social distancing. No dining-in allowed at this time. The queue moved pretty fast actually. You are only allowed to enter when the bell on the door sound. U just knew that its a good doughnut shop when you saw mostly locals r in the queue.
Folks who rate Revolution less than 5 stars are the same miscreants who’d deduct a star from Heaven (“slightly cold”), five minutes before St Peter realized there’d been a clerical error. The donuts are ethereal; the staff angelic. This place is to die for.
My son loves every type of donut that exist, so I thought it was a great idea to bring him here. It was his treat for making such good grades. And just like I thought, he was in donut heaven. Im not a big sweet or so this visit was about him. The variety of donuts even had me intrigued. The donuts are very nicely sized and made from scratch. They have gluten-free as well as vegan Donuts as an option. Theres also a coffee bar. Donuts prices seemed appropriate, especially for the size. Most Donuts run about $3 and if you get a dozen, of course its discounted. The donuts were huge for someone like me whos not a big sweet eater. The donut shop isnt really big but people arent in there very long so it is plenty of seating. The staff is very energetic, helpful, and jolly. I would definitely go back even if it was just for the atmosphere. I love cozy spots with great food.
Vegan, deliciousness!! A total must try!! These are “Almond Joy”, Lemon Poppy, and Orange Pistachio! The Almond joy didn’t had amaretto in the filling, which isn’t my favorite flavor but over all it was still yummy. The others were SO amazing!! Not too sweet and really high quality. Can’t wait to go back.
We arrived at approximately 4:00PM so the selections were very limited. We were able to enjoy the salted caramel cake, and chocolate. We also had a non dairy latte, and black coffee.Theyre coffee was super delicious(very bold)The donuts were good. The flavors were perfect. The cake donut was a cross between a biscuit and cake.Staff was delightful, helpful, and patient.
We visited Revolution Doughnuts when we were on a day trip to Atlanta. It was SO refreshing to walk into a place to get breakfast for our vegan family and have so many options to choose from. Typically it will be one option if any at all. And even more importantly... They were INSANELY delicious. We look forward to coming back next time we are in the area.
I picked up two doughnuts. The first was a plain glazed(vanilla bean) and the second a cappuccino crunch. The flavor profile of both doughnuts was great. They were sweet but not too sweet. The glazed had a perfect texture and glaze to it. The cappuccino crunch had a great coffee flavor. At first I thought they were a little expensive but the doughnuts are actually huge. To be frank one doughnut and a coffee is probably enough for breakfast.
Love this place!! Always good service and the donuts and coffee are delicious.Fave donuts:Orange Pistachio (sooo sweet)Peppermint (seasonal)Almond CakeToasted CoconutJam Filled (passion fruit is good!!)Least Favorite Donut:The Everything Donut - savory donut similar to an everything bagel. I had high hopes for this guy, but it was sooooooooo very salty. I tasted nothing but salt when I took a bite. I looked at the top and there appeared to be at least a teaspoon of large salt flakes on top!! I love salty foods, but this was way more salt than I could handle; I couldn’t even taste the filling or other “bagel” toppings. Once I wiped all the toppings off, it was decent but my mouth was already overwhelmed by the salt from the first bite.I get either the regular black coffee and it’s really good. The whole milk latte is also delicious. You should definitely check this place out!!
Amazing donuts! Some of the best Ive ever found. Easily the best in Atlanta. Plenty of options for everyone with vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options. Lots of great Covid precautions too.
I got a dozen of assorted doughnuts! Everyone single one was amazing. I wished I took a picture but I tasted them all too quickly.Doughnuts were fluffy and packed with flavors.Unique peach doughnut was good!Price seem fair for doughnut size, flavor, and uniqueness!I will go back for more doughnuts!
I LOVE THIS PLACEI mostly just try the yeast donuts because I believe in fluffy donuts not cakey ones. I also am vegan and there’s tons of options which is amazing. Favorite flavor is cinnamon sugar out of dark choc, raspberry, and blueberry. But raspberry is a close second (just haven’t had a chance to try vanilla bean glaze but it looks like a winner too). When it’s summer and it’s back on the menu, the peach donut (called something different) is my absolute #1!!!
This is my third visit. I love the doughnuts because theyre good and not too sweet.
So good. Dont let the line deter you. The crispy Mr is to die for.
Absolutely amazing!!! The best vegan doughnuts Ive ever had!
I thought it tasted pretty darn good.... especially considering that its vegan. My first bite had a funny after taste, but as continued, it went away fairly quickly. I had the Vanilla Bean donut and it taste just as good as a Dunkin Donut. I would definitely go back after I get off this diet Im starting tomorrow. Lol..... Ive been eating waaaaaaaay too much of everything. But please, go and enjoy!
Staff rocks!! Great donut options for everyone! Even vegans! Always fresh and filled with flavor. Their coffee selection is amazing as well. Always a good time when I stop through to quench my sweet tooth.
A dope donut and coffee shop located near the popular Beltline and Krog Street Market. During my visit I ordered the;- Vanilla Bean Glazed : Moist with the perfect amount of vanilla flavoring.- Cinnamon and Sugar! Loved the sand like texture on the coating usedz it contrasted the fluffy texture of the donut quite well. The cinnamon flavor was subtle, but noticable.- Dark Chocolate Glazed My Favorite of the three, the dark chocolate added the perfect amount of sweetness and chocolate flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. No toothache here.- Savory Donuts with Ham: A great combination of sweet and salty flavor. I should have ordered another she lunch. The service was sort of meh, perhaps it was due to them preparing to close, but they had an hour left according to their posted business hours. They were removing the donuts from the case, which felt a bit premature considering the time. I plan to revisit to see if they are more inviting earlier in the day.Overall I still enjoyed the donuts, which is really what I cant for.
Great donuts, but they really need a discount for buying a dozen donuts. I walked in ready to buy a dozen for around $25 or so. But their only discount is one free donut. Im not spending $35+ on donuts! I walked out with only buying 4 donuts. They missed out.
I give them five stars for creativity and options for vegan individuals. But for overall best donuts not quite there. I tried eight different flavors and other pretty enjoyable. They are the cheapest donuts as eight of them cost me $23 but it’s a fun treat to come and get every once in a while. The chocolate blackout donut was the best cake style doughnut. I also enjoyed the vanilla glaze and the cinnamon and sugar. I thought the peach donut was a pretty clever idea the peach was a little more tart and paired decently with the donut. The chocolate hazelnut is made with almond flour and is more like a doughnut shaped muffin that was quite enjoyable! I was let down by the Nutella filled. I definitely would come back again.
This little donut shop was quite the fun break from hustle and bustle of our busy day in Atlanta. The atmosphere was young and hip. The food looked and tasted great. We ordered the Christmas special of Cranberry and Orange. It tasted fresh and tart and sweet all on the same bite. The donut was fluffy and the icing was perfectly glazed. A must try if you find yourself roaming Atlanta with an urge to munch.
These are the best doughnuts in the US.
We order the Toasted Almond Big Ol Cake every year for a vegan family member and its always fantastic. The cakes are dense, moist, and delicious. Of course we have a couple of donuts while we are there. Many vegan options, and donuts to satisfy both yeast donut fans and cake donut fans. Great coffee, too!
Amazing donuts. Especially the vegan ones… better than normal donuts!
Grateful these guys are back open! Been getting donuts from here for years now. Menu is a little different than in the past but you are not wanting to miss out. They also have a gluten free donut, they don’t advertise it as GF (I think they call it grain free) but one of the best tasting donuts on menu maybe even second place behind the maple bacon.
I stopped here on my last day visiting Atlanta (from Reno Nevada) and Im very glad I checked this place out. Their doughnuts were fresh and delicious but I also really liked the cold brew I ordered as well. The staff was exceptional and helped us choose the best donuts for a memorable visit.
Found this donut shop tictok and decided to try them I got the strawberry lemonade, Carmel bacon, cinnamon apple fritter, and last but not least the peach slider donut they all were pretty damn especially the Carmel and bacon Inman park location the staff was great !!!!
Amazing we have made it a new tradition to go here when we are in atlanta our favorite is the crunchy mister
Revolution donuts delivers on two things almost perfectly: quality and experience... Though you will spend more per donut than your average dunkin location, the delicious pastries will satisfy you far more and leave you feeling refreshed vs stuffed. I found the natural risen donuts to be light and tasty and the toppings are flavorful with the absence of excessive sugar. The people who work here are also a treat. They fit the cabbage town/Edgewood look and attitude. That being said, they arent jaded hipsters but instead really kind and helpful employees. If you havent visited, go when you can!
No wait.. Great customer service as soon as we walked in & checking out. All of the doughnuts were fresh , thick & fluffy & flavorful. The vanilla is my fav since its vegan.
Now this is top tier dessert location! the almond whatever it’s called it lol is amazing like that’s all i could remember writing this review lol alllllllllmonnnnnnds!!
My all time favorite place for sweet treats.
They are SO good to me every Sunday. They know I am Deaf and they make accommodations with their communication skills. HARD respect for these employees. Their Everything Bagel is out of this world. I like to combine sweet and savory donuts each week. I cannot tolerate 2 sweet donuts as it messes up my blood level and it sends my heart racing. No man can ever do that! Seriously. All the more, some of these donuts are vegan, GF, or vegetarian. I love their seasonal specials! Its a must try. You wont be disappointed.
The donuts are worth the calories. We got a dozen donuts with all different flavors, and loved every single one--even the gluten-free one.
The best donuts known to mankind, likely throughout the universe. The hot buttered rum latte is delicious and did I mention the donuts? A must have.
I love the way theyve set up to keep things safe during COVID. They were closed for a long time, but took the time to figure out how to do it right. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness. Not to mention the doughnuts are INCREDIBLE. Ive tried many, but Coconut Cake will always be my favorite.
Fantastic doughnuts, most of which are vegan
Amazing donuts. And very great choices. Specialty donuts is there thing. Definitely should try this. Great customer service and clean and welcoming facility.
I didnt think I liked donuts before I had some from Revolution donuts. Incredible. Bonus points for vegan.
I have never had a donut quite like this. Absolutely delicious. I wish I lived closer to enjoy this melt in your mouth goodness. And the service is great and can answer any questions you have.
These are the best doughnuts in atlanta - especially if you’re a fan of cake-style donuts like me. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. I also appreciate their strict COVID policies since their shop is small.
Incredible donuts but pretty pricey!
Customer Service was decent but those were the worst donuts I ever tasted from a donut shop. Not sure what all the hype was about but its a NO for me. Im not into injesting Yeast.
Grreat doughnuts
Very refreshing for ones tastebuds, good homemade doughnuts with a good variety of flavors and vegan options. Made fresh every day on a limited numbers (still big enough for the regular costumers thought ;) nothing to add or take on the quality of this place. The coconut doughnuts are something you need to try.
Both the donuts and the coffee taste like something you get at the supermarket. You can actually get their brand of coffee at the supermarket. They’re also never open, so check first, if you must go.There are WAY better donuts, and coffee, available nearby in Atlanta.
Excellent customer service! Amazing donuts.
These are my new favorite donuts. I literally CRAVE their cake donuts. 🤤 I don’t even request cakes for my birthday anymore. Everyone knows to get me their Toasted Almond Cake Donut. SOOO wishing they had regular hours again. Sometimes going on the weekends means a long line or them running out BUT it’s worth a shot!! Get you one soon! My full review will be on tiktok @atlgrubs
Fresh, amazing donuts. Plenty of vegan options, good coffee, and strictly enforced safety measures.
