As good as the dessert is, the service is inversely horrible. I’m reminded again why I freaking hate this place’s lack of customer service even beyond your typical “who gives a shit” Chinese mentality of service. We ordered and waited behind 8 other orders that got their items before us. Only when we asked did they finally prepare our missing drink while the rest of order just set on the counter. Not even a sorry or anything from the young staff. Lack of leadership or even an ounce of customer service. Why do I automatically give a tip? Well, never again. And of course they also F up the order. Gave us two wrong drinks and the desserts were wrong too. SMHUpdate: wife craved grass jelly and I really wished we knew of another place. Tried ordering online twice and was cancelled both times because staff was too busy to accept order and since they charge immediately, I have to wait for refunds. This is ordering straight from there site. Wonder if Dash or others would be as bad. Wife went there instead around 5:15 and there was not a line or wait. And they still messed up the order, again. Good thing wife is the one going to visit this place from now on. Not sure if service would be this bad in there anywhere else. Management help needed for sure

Came in here while waiting for Kura sushi and it’s a cute little shop to get treats and boba. The quality of the drink was good and there was plenty of variety. The menu can be a little overwhelming when you just come, but luckily the person we ordered from was super friendly and upfront about how the drinks were. Good thing she warned us about the Mango&Passionfruit being on the sweeter side so I ended up choosing a different drink. Overall, this place is more of a take out drinks and snacks rather than I sit down and enjoy the ambiance; however, I would definitely come back again to try new things. I wish they had savoury treats though since I tend to prefer those due to the boba already being quite sweet.

When I go there... I want to like it but I just don’t!! Their shaved ice type desserts just feels like I need liquid!! It’s like eating bubble tea toppings without the liquid tea in it. Just weird and I don’t like it!!COVID- very big store. No dine-in. Lots of room for everyone to separately wait on their order.

I haven’t experienced dine in since I just tried Meet Fresh but their takeout boxes for the shaved ice are huge. My bf and I always get the red bean shaved ice and it’s SO good and we both share one order since it is more than enough for two. We try to take advantage of ordering ahead on the mobile so we haven’t had any issues with wait time.EDIT: Dine in is OPEN! Wow the proportions are way more than take out and take out amount is still a lot for two! It’s so cute, inside there are plenty of seating that are spaced out.

They’re finally open for dine in guys!!!! We’ve been waiting for a year ish for them to open and let me tell you. This type of desserts are meant to be eating in because fresh is always better than being it home especially we live so far. Don’t expect service because there’s only two people working here, so everything is self served. I highly recommend this place and have fun while eating all the delicious mochi and pudding. Until next time!!! Peace

Great tasting and refreshing dessert place on a hot and humid day. We got the oolong milk tea and they didnt skim on the bubble/boba for sure. Very crowded and popular. They try to mark social distance tables (by putting up multiple signs all over a table Out of Order to basically say DONT SIT HERE) but you may get the jerk customers who still sit on these marked tables, not respecting social distance. You have to wipe down your own table with disinfectant wipes they put out.

Ordered a couple of times in this restaurant, and the cashier told me there’s no ice grass jelly, yet I knew there was. Had to order the hot one in the end. When I saw the jelly it came with peanuts so I asked the guy why there’s no milk, and he told me only the cold one came with milk, so yeah there was ice one. Also, it was put in a bowl while I ordered it to go, and the guy pour it into a to go box above the sink in the front of me. Food maybe good, but service’s terrible.

Fluffy Icy Herbal Tea with Grass Jelly. Say it with me slowly lol. Thats my favorite drink, and a very unique one to enjoy here in America. I have tried others, including the winter melon tea and various fruit and teas. I also love the almond drink, most of the desserts (soooo good)-- if you dont know what to order, think of the taste. Earthy grass jelly or taro mild sweetness, or something more common here like mango shaved ice. Ive been to many bubble tea places but Meet Fresh is so much more imho. Tea Top next door is although worth a shot for that mung bean milk slushie refreshing fix :)

It’s a nice place for Taiwanese desserts, large selection of menu. Portion size are okay, a little bit pricey IMO. Taro balls are chewy but lack in flavors. Its a good place for meet up and dessert after the meal, but don’t expect too much since desserts here taste nothing like the ones I had in Taiwan.

Nice Taiwanese traditional deserts place. The portion of each order is large for most of orders. The shaved ice is the smaller size per our request but it’s still large for one person. The grass jelly hot desert came with roasted peanuts on the side to add the crunchy taste. I would suggest try one peanut before you dump it into the dessert if your order come with roasted peanuts. The one I got was not fresh so I had to fish them out. Other than that it is a wonderful desert.

First of all let me say I am very familiar with the franchise. I have lived in California and there was meet fresh close to me that I visit. I also went to different cities in China and visited meet fresh places. I was always amazed by volume and quality of the delicacy. However its not the case here. They use probably too much mun-bean soup with very little taro balls or use too much shaved ice (and these two things are cost-efficient). They basically cut down the ingredients by 1/2 and still sell it at $7.50. I am afraid the only thing they did identical with the other authentic meet fresh store is the price.I just want to say that keep your expectations low.You can find the pictures below for comparisons.

Meet Fresh offers so many unique dessert and drinks options that are rare to find in the U.S. We ordered a shaved ice bowl with taro & mango balls as well as tapioca & soybean balls and sweet potato. The inside was very roomy (if not a little warehouse-y) with lots of seating available.

Awesome Asian dessert! Many selections. Prior to COVID portions were really nice and big. During COVID we noticed the same item has reduced to nearly 50% less than before. We have been to many locations and noticed this. Value for money was great before. Now, I guess we have to wait and see. With other Asian desserts in United States this is among the few that portions have been reduced quite a bit.

Loved that they’re still taking Covid precautions. They use a speaker to ensure you can hear them through their thick partitions on the counter. Even still the place was cute inviting. My son and I ordered black milk tea with brown sugar boba and it was perfection. My husband however ordered the ube tea with boba and didn’t know it would have chunks of ube in it. It was a weird consistency… somehow powdery and chunky at the same time. Would not order that again. I’ll definitely visit again though and next time I’ll be trying the waffles!

I never write reviews, but my experience here was so bad that I feel like I have to share it. Upon entering, I grabbed one of the menus and asked the guy worker some questions about whether I could customize the shaved ice. It was my first time at the place, so I wanted to also know what flavors or toppings were good. The guy was on his phone and didn’t answer me until he finally looked up and decided to help me. He answered me by just pointing at the menu and saying you can customize it. He gave off the attitude like I was bothering him for wanting him to do his job. I honestly should have just left at this point, but I decided to just place an order and give it a try.I ordered the Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice and sat down. Two customers came in after me and also placed their orders. The workers announced whenever an order was ready the order number, so I assumed they were going to call mine out as well, since they had mobile orders as well and I didn’t want to accidentally grab someone else’s food. I didn’t realize until after the people that came in after me had their orders called that the worker didn’t bother to tell me that my order was ready even though the place wasn’t busy at all. It wasn’t until I went up to the counter to ask the girl worker if my order was done that she told me “sorry, your order has been ready”. The workers and customer service here sucks. Because the guy worker didn’t bother to tell me my order was ready, my shaved ice was melted and was just liquid. I definitely don’t recommend this place. It was a waste of money and the workers here are too busy on their phones to do their jobs.

Let me make this clear; what Asians consider sweet is not the same as typical Caucasian (insert whatever denomination) taste pallet, so I am basing this review on presentation and reaction from my friends and girl friend. Being Hispanic, I find this on the bland side, but my girl friend finds that Hispanic desserts are way overly sweet and blow out her pallet.First, be prepared to wait, this is the new hotness on the block, it took 20min just to order. Your wait time will vary.Presentation is top notch, looks like a modern work of art when the plate comes out.I find the sweetness of the dishes very subdued and not very noticeable. Once again, Im Latino so your taste pallet will very to mine, Im already accepting the fact Ill have diabetes by the time Im 50! I have one friend that loved her dish, another that finds it good, and my girl friend found it to be so-so surprisingly.I also ordered milk tea pudding, in comparison to other boba tea, this was way more tea and not very sweet.Overall impressions are good; wanted to get q mochi but they ran out tonight. Also, good luck trying to snag a table!

Im sure youve been to Meet Fresh by now or at least heard of it. Its still fairly new as of this review. You can find it located in the H-Mart shopping plaza in Doraville, GA.Ive mentioned this previously in a few other reviews, but this shopping center has had a boom in the past few years. It used to just be Shoya (great Japanese restaurant BTW) for the longest time. Now we have a lot of fun and delectable spots that opened up. Im always open to trying new places so I was curious to see what Meet Fresh was all about. For those of you who dont know, Meet Fresh (est. 2007) is a Taiwanese based desserts manufacturer created by sibling pair Sister and Brother Fu. Meet Fresh prioritizes serving healthy desserts that are made fresh & daily. With a focus on traditional Taiwanese methods of taste and sourcing high quality ingredients, Meet Fresh has grown quite the following worldwide due to this philosophy. They have locations in U.S, Canada, China, Vietnam, and Japan. The location in Doraville, is pretty spacious. Its a lot bigger from inside when compared to how the store front appears. The interior decor has a nice simple color scheme. Its bright and open. Seating can be found through out. You got booths, single tables, and some bar height seating arrangements as well. Definitely enough to fit a pack house. Which it usually is on most of my visits. The menu is rather large. Without going too deep into specifics. It basically consists of a variety of desserts from tea based drinks to small treats like mung bean cake, to their more well-know grass jelly and taro based based desserts. I didnt get a chance to try everything to be honest. The mind was willing, but the stomach could only take in so much. You order at the main counter, near the front door. They give a little buzzer, that alarms you when your order is ready. Prices for most items are pretty average, nothing too expensive. Its mostly just self-service here, you order, pick up, and drop off when you are done. Really simple.Heres what Ive had there so far. Ill start with the Milk Tea w/Grass Jelly. Its taste about the same as any other milk tea, I did feel like the grass jelly had some great texture to it though. The milk tea was just okay in my opinion, nothing too special there. Next thing I had, and have had repeatedly since is their Signature Icy Grass Jelly dessert. Its so simple yet so delicious. Its essentially their grass jelly on top of some sweetened ice (more like snow) with taro ball toppings. Its really light and refreshing, Im not sure if I would consider this healthy but it beats a lot of other desserts out there for sure. You certainly dont hate yourself or feel too guilty about eating this. I also got Icy Grass Jelly #3 (red beans, peanuts, and boba), this one is a bit more heavy, but not too overbearing, its taste great as well. No real complaints about the Grass Jelly desserts. Portion sizes are large enough to be shared, but because the grass jelly is so light, you probably want your own instead.Overall, big fan of the place. I can tell its going to be popular this summer. Since you know GA can get hot. The desserts are really refreshing and cool to the taste so that can help make these hot summer days more bearable. I still have a lot of the menu I have yet to try out, but Im looking forward to trying it. You should definitely check it out when you get the chance as well.My Favorites:-Signature Icy Grass Jelly
