Everyone here is AWESOME!I made it to 37 without needing glasses but the crew here has been super helpful with getting me setup with new glasses and then getting my prescription tweaked a bit.Both doctors are very helpful and thorough about explaining what is going on.I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Vision Source offered me a wonderful experience when taking care of my eyes :). My appointment was very punctual with no wait time at all. I was impressed by the many tests and services offered as they have a lot of new technology. It was really cool! After getting my new prescription Ashley was able to explain what my options were as far as contacts or glasses and my insurance benefits. She was very patient and ended up helping me pick out a great new frame which was ready for pick up only a few days later. I ended up having my mother make an appointment and would def refer anyone who asks about visiting the eye doctor.

The exam is more thorough than you’ll find most places. They make sure your eyes are healthy - not just check your vision. They have an awesome selection of glasses and sunglasses. Always getting in new styles, from budget-friendly to Tom Ford and Gucci. Jeremy (in glasses fitting) has an awesome eye for what looks good on your face. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I have used Vision Source Insight to purchase four pairs of frames and lens. They have been excellent to work with, from start to finish. Jeremy and Ashley have been so helpful. Everyone I have dealt with at the store has always been kind and professional. I highly recommend it!

I have been extremely impressed with Dr. Sweeney and the kind staff at Vision Source. Dr. Sweeney prescribed something lenses that I wear at night and I am able to read without wearing glasses or contacts during the day. This is much better than carrying my glasses everywhere. Ive been coming here for almost 10 years and have always gotten excellent service. For my exam, I usually see Dr. David Sweeney. He is very friendly and extremely thorough with his exam and recommendations. Ive worked with Ashley on the optical side for the last two years, and she has been an excellent source of recommendations for new eyewear. While I thought I knew what I wanted (Silhouettes have been my goto for YEARS), she was able to recommend some new, more trendy cat-eye frames that I had never considered, and I have not stopped getting complements! The fully practice is highly recommended!

This is a great place all around. The doctors are super knowledgeable and caring with the latest technology for wearing contacts while you sleep to provide perfect vision during the day.

I scheduled an annual exam approx one month in advance. In between the time of scheduling my appt and the actual appt itself, I was emailed acknowledgments of a required new technology they now use that would require additional money from me. Considering that glaucoma and all these others ailments have been long determined before this “new technology” I called to inquire & get clarity about this being optional or an actual requirement. The staff person did say that it was optional (although the message says required) and when I asked for further in formation on what the appointment would detail without that service, she showed complete rudeness and unprofessionalism thru tone and an unwillingness to assist. She hurriedly pacified my inquiry with a statement that someone would get back to me with details. One week passes by and no returned call. But they did manage to call to confirm the appointment the day of. (Interesting.) When I told the staff person that I could not confirm the appointment because I didn’t have the information I needed which I had been waiting on for a week, she showed zero interest in getting the simpleInformation requested or even inquiring what it was. Shows how interested they are in attaining business and safe to say the customer service isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.I would recommend exploring other options in the area. In addition - the waits are ridiculous and customer service can be very poor. Remember, it’s a pleasure for ANYONE to have your business because there are always competitors and options nearby.

I have been with the Sweeney’s for a long time since they were working in Lenox mall. They are great caring doctors! If you have young children they are kid-friendly! My daughter has been with them since the age of 3 and now she is 18. They have helped us with understanding whats going on with her eyes. I do not have enough words how helpful doctors and staff are at this eyecare. My journey started with Dr. Kristi Walts. She took my eye exam and explained basics of contact lenses. Later, I decided to get new contact lenses, which I never worn before in my whole life for 15 years. I have worn eyeglasses since 3rd grade. Dr. David Sweeney helped me a lot wearing my first contact lenses. Basically, he knows how to shape the lenses and good fit for a patient. He basically has PHD and, I am sure he is the best doctor in Georgia. The entire crew and Dr. Sweeney himself spent more than an hour to help me put them on. This isn’t only once, but they helped me three times. They are so nice and patience. I have never seen anyone this patience and so understanding. Thank you Dr. Sweeney and his crew to give me hope to put on contact lenses. It would not be possible without you guys. :) :)

Dr. David and Dr. Rachael and their entire team are nothing short of the most knowledgeable, caring, and professional eye doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. My entire family, including my parents who live out of town, have been nothing but 100% pleased with both the service we receive and the products we’ve purchased. This is a great business.From the moment I called, I was treated with professionalism and kindness. I purchased glasses from them a year and a half ago - which my puppy decided to eat about six months ago, I was dealing with blindness - then decided I couldnt handle it any more. I called and was seen within the hour - withing two, I had new glasses (bifocals - yep) ordered. Cant wait to get my glasses (and keep them away from the dogs)! My whole family comes to Vision Source, we love them. This is truly a family business and you can tell the employees are treated well and enjoy their jobs. This is the kind of business that you want to support. If you make an appointment, they will exceed all expectations.

I am very (some would say extremely) nearsighted and have always dreaded going to the eye doctor. I have been going to Vision Source for the last couple of years and the experience has been the best. Everyone is so professional and courteous. They really make me feel at ease and their equipment seems to be state of the art. I would recommend them to any one.

They are really nice people from the receptionist to the Dr, and the Dr was very good, and professional. However the one and only thing that left a sour taste in my mouth was that even after I confirmed the cost of contact lens prescription multiple times, I was still hit with a charge for them checking the prescription on my glasses (without any warning), claiming after that it was necessary in order to get contact lenses. What if I didnt have glasses or I didnt consent to them checking my glasses?! I wouldnt have been able to update my contact lens prescription?

I have been seeing Dr. David Sweeney for many years. I have sensitive eyes and contact lenses have always been a problem for me. Dr. Sweeney suggested that I try CRT lenses which are worn at night instead of the daytime. My vision is corrected while I sleep. Much of my discomfort with traditional lenses came from blinking and particles of dust in the air. Neither of these are a problem since these lenses are worn while sleeping. I have worn CRT lenses for many years now and I am just as excited about them as the day I first tried them. Im surprised that more people dont know about them. They are perfect for athletes, firemen, and others.

My first visit was awesome I was in the office to pick my new glasses on lunch break they made sure to make sure my glasses fitted even though I was rushingI have been wearing eyewear for over 12 years first time my exam was infomative... I made it to work with time to spare

I was disappointed with my visit here. I had an appointment at 415 and had even arrived early to fill out the routine paperwork. Despite this I still wasn’t seen until 430/445. Once then I was taken to do all my exams from the assistant. I will say that the office does have a wide variety of updated technology that can make routine eye experience more comfortable. After this I was taken into the doctor’s office to wait. It was another 15-20 minutes before Sweeney came in. Despite only coming in order to replace pair of glasses in which I had lost, I felt that the office kept trying to tell me about lenses and the new technology that they have. I am nearsighted and while glasses help me function better, I am not reliant upon them. Therefore, I don’t care for contact lenses. Once my exams were done I was let back into the main room so that I can choose my glasses. However, I ended up waiting another 20/30 minutes without any form of assistance until I asked to look around and how much longer until I’m helped. The office rep offer for me to come back another, but I felt that I had already waited this long, I did not want to have to come back again. When I finally was help I chose from an assortment of glasses. I let it be known again that I just want a simple pair of glasses in order to function when needed. After choosing a pair of glasses that I liked and was supposed to be affordable I sat down with the associate to discuss payment. Despite having insurance they quoted me that the one pair of glasses would be $207. I asked if there had more affordable glasses given him my situation. All they could offer me were kids frames. I asked them how much it would be to bring in frames myself as you can find frames at any retailer. They quoted that the standard prescription lenses would be $65. At the point I’m upset. I came in for a 415 appointment and did not leave until 630 without what I can’t for. I decided to look into other eye care places to get a second opinion. This led me to Americas eye best. I visit there shortly after and found out that the prior office had either misread my insurance or overpriced me. My insurance offers up to $155 for frames with 20% off. Therefore the $207 they quoted me should have only cost me out of pocket around 30/40 dollars. And a prescription would only be $25 with a standard lens. I decided to go with Americas eye best and use the prescription that was given to me and was able to get TWO pair of glasses for $75. While the office was definitely friendly I wouldnt recommend it for a simple visits for glasses.Update: got a call from the office manager who called and explain the associate did read my insurance wrong and apologized for the mistake. I really appreciated it!

I found Dr. Sweeney online after searching for a good eye doctor in my new town. After coming here I was really happy that I chose this office, theyre all so kind and professional. It has been a great experience!

Dr. Sweeney charged me almost $800.00 for a pair of reading glasses that I can not use. I went into the office for them to fix the situation and they did not remedy the problem. I also wanted to order color contacts through 1-800-contacts and Dr. Sweeney would not let me order in bulk, the contacts were zero power. I feel the office prefers you to order directly from them. I have been wearing color contacts for 25 years and only wear reading glasses when I work on my computer for long periods of time. This office is a complete sham and only wants your money. They do not care about individuals health care, instead put high priority on how much they can scam off people. Do not go to them if you truly need glasses or if you want to pay a fair price for your glasses or contacts. They do not take insurance either. If I could give this office one name it would be PONZI scheme. My daughter had the same problem so we were left with no choice but to file a claim with the medical board.

I really like that Vision Source InSight Eyecare has their optical shop in the same facility as their office. When I was finished with my exam I looked for new frames there. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and they didnt pressure me to buy what they wanted me to buy.

Had a bit of a tough time parking, but I guess thats just because business is going well! The service was great as usual and I was greeted right when I entered the office. The doctors do the best with the somewhat small space they have and always take care of me. See you next time.

Excellent Doctor! Before coming to Dr. David Sweeney, I did not know what clear vision really was. I assumed that the vision I had with the products I received before coming to him was as good as it gets. My vision is extremely bad- astigmatism and one eye is near-sighted, one eye is far-sighted. After one eye exam, I have been hooked ever since. I trust no other Doctor with my eyesight because I know that no one will care as much as Dr. Sweeney does with my eyes. Ive been coming to his practice with my Husband for over 6 years now, and will continue to remain a loyal client for many years to come. Doctor Sweeney and his staff are amazing. The staff takes the time to explain the options available and pricing depending on the individuals insurance plan. Doctor Sweeneys bedside manners are amazing. He takes the time to explain the purpose of the different steps in the eye exam. For an additional nominal charge, he can even takes proactive measures to check for pre-symptoms for diabetes and glaucoma with a special 3-D machine.

I had been a patient of Dr. Sweeneys for well over a decade, and had always been happy with their service. However, recently I started noticing surprise charges on the bill. Be careful when they if you like the current pair of contacts you are wearing, because if they make a recommendation ()regardless of whether or not you elect to use the new brand or style) it will cot you $100.During my most recent visit with the doctor, all had gone well and upon checkout, was offered a new test they offered to determine if patients suffered or were prone to a particular genetic disorder. The test seemed like something in which i would not be interested, but after they assured me that my particular insurance would cover the costs, I went ahead with the test.The $255.04 bill i received from the diagnostics company is not why I will no longer visit Insight- their utter lack of sympathy or ownership of their mistake is the reason.Maybe I was wrong to trust them in the first place..
