Been going here for many many years. Guy is very nice. Very quiet and only talks to people who really want to buy or sell coins maybe because that makes up a large part of his business, but he has been always helpful with me when I want to buy one of his board games or bobble heads or whatever else he is selling in there all the time.

I went here today, and enjoyed the visit, even though I wasnt looking for anything in particular. I found some nice Half Dollars there, and I also purchased some baseball cards too. While it may seem messy there it is definitely a organized mess!

With a wide selection of cards coins money memorabilia and vintage gifts this place has been in the Northlake location for as long as Ive been alive. The owner very knowledgeable and will never and has never skipped out on me getting every cent that I was owed from my trade ins. His items are very well priced and always can be research there on site at the store. Enough said if you have any Old Coins Stamps money memorabilia are even sometimes cards this is the man to come and check out

I highly recommend Northlake Stamp & Coin! I had a number of stamps to sell and I received a reasonable offer for them. Gil was very knowledgeable, and he was sure to follow up with me to make sure my payment was received. If you have stamps or coins to sell, you can trust Northlake Stamp & Coin to give you an honest and reasonable offer.

Took some coins to have them appraised because I didnt really need them and having the money was better. This place is a genuine ripoff. The guy lied to me and said that they were giving me 8 times the worth of the coins. Not the silver worth - the literal worth of the coin as a monetary value. He totally disregarded the melt value and didnt even use that as a means of worth. What he was actually doing was cutting the price for each coin and lying. I received a quote of about $170 for $450+ worth of coins for their melt value alone. Sure, the values go up and down, but I had checked ahead of time on that same day before visiting. Guess what? Used another means and will average $500+. If youre thinking about selling anything like a commodity here, think again. Go to a REPUTABLE dealer. This place is a joke and a ripoff. If you look at their coins, their prices are far higher than a reputable dealer would charge.

I took my uncirculated one ounce American gold eagle coin in to see about selling it. The owner then embarked on this whole elaborate routine repeatedly going back and forth between his fancy digital scale and magnifying glass. The whole schtick felt rehearsed and ridiculous. When he was all finished he proceeded to offer me $230 below melt value. When I asked him why he was lowballing me so bad he told he could never sell a coin in such terrible condition and that all it was good for is smelting. Needless to say it kind of hurt my feelings. Mind you this coin is basically brand new and in pristine condition. I even showed the coin to a couple of my friends in case I missed something and they both agreed that the coin was basically perfect. The owner is a real jerk and I will never do any business with him.

If I could give this place a 0 star review then I would, the guy that look at my coins was more concerned about the silver in the coins. He did not even look at the coins just said yeah it’s silver so it’s worth about 2.50... Don’t Go! PLEASE DON’T GO SAVE YOUR TIME!

The most overpriced coin shop around metro Atlanta. Anyone can go around to the other shops and compare or look in the price guide and see it is all overpriced. The owners policy is not to negotiate the price. But other coin shops do. He said that you cannot trust price guides.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. As a TCG player, this place is a hidden gem.The shop owner finds aged Yu-Gi-Oh boxes- well over a decade old- and sells the packs at standard price. Good deal all around.

Cheapest place in the city to buy air-tites for your coins. Charges the same price for ringed (foamed) air-tites than most online dealers charged for an inferior direct fit (no foam padding). Great prices on supplies overall. Im 37, the guy who works there (I think the owner) has been there since I was 7 or 8 years old. Remember buying comics from him all the time back in the 90s. No small business in America lasts that long unless you are doing something right. I take gold coins I buy from Apmex and he tests them for free (modern US/Foreign, pre-33 US and old-world foreign). Most dealers in Atlanta will tell to buzz off if you ask for that favor. Once I went to ask him if taking Gold Pandas out their packaging from the mint would effect the value? He spent 10 minutes breaking down every scenario possible as to why I should leave them in unless I plan to use it as pocket piece for life.

I have been looking for awhile for a place that could give me answers about my stamp collection. However, simply calling and speaking to someone briefly about my situation made me not want to deal with them at all! I will gladly take your advice and do the research myself rather than spend my hard earned money on your services, which Im sure without a doubt parallels your unpleasant customer service.
