Happy hour was great! You have to try the pomegranate margaritas and the hookah is on point! Literally one of the top 3 places for hookah!! The customer service was excellent, so Ill definitely be back!

After an horrible dinner experience elsewhere, my husband found Therapy Lounge for us to salvage our night and thank God he did because our experience here Saturday night (May 22) was amazing! We were a party of 5 and we were seated immediately! We had drinks, 2 hookahs and everything was great! The vibe was amazing and the DJ had us dancing and singing for the rest of the night! We will be back again!

It was warm, inviting, and quaint. I loved it! They had a pretty good selection of food; I ordered humus and it was delicious. The drink selection was also pretty good and so was the hookah. It was a tiny bit pricey but worth the money and experience. I shall return!

Wouldve never gone if a friend hadnt taken me as its not my usual type of hangout. But I had a blast! The DJ was amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was great too. I was also pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, including the single bathroom for men and women. Great place for a low key chill on a Friday night.

This was my very first time visiting this place. A small group of us were celebrating a coworkers birthday. Its a small place but its really nice on the inside. A great selection of Afro Beats music was played. They offer hookah as well and they have a great selection of food and drinks. I got a pomegranate mojito while I was there. I also got chicken tacos as well. They were slightly spicy but extremely delicious. They also offer games like Uno and Jenga to play. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a chill atmosphere and laid back vibes.

***DO NOT GO HERE*** I’ve visited this place several times over serval years & this place has went from good to bad. They have multiple hookah flavors on their menu that they haven’t had in stock for several months even though the same brand & flavor listed on their site is available at any local smoke shop. Tonight is as the last straw after I got went in to place a to go order & the extremely rude waiteress tried to charge me gratituity for a to go order. I’ve paid the gratuity when eating in the establishment no problem. However, I’ve never had the charge added to a to go order. When I mentioned this to the waitress & how this has never happened before she told me “that’s how we do it here” despite me telling her it’s never happened to me on multiple occasions when ordering to go. She replied “we’ll the managers over there if you want to talk to him” which I declined & left because that’s never happened before. This establishments customer service & product has declined dramatically over the years & its extremely small. Do yourself a favor & visit somewhere else. This place isn’t it unfortunately.

We visited this place and were told we couldn’t come in since they’re celebrating their 10 year anniversary and you “need” a reservation. No where on their website or on their IG page did it say we needed a reservation. It literally says come on in and enjoy…..I’m glad I didn’t waste time here anyway, it looks too crowded and trashy anyway.

Very good place to relax for a good hookah and a few drinks. The Hennessy margaritas are good and I had another drink that’s made with Hennessy but I can’t remember the name... it was good as well. They don’t prepare the food there bc it’s a bit small but I didn’t mind. The tenders were good with a really nice flavor but that lamb burger was divine! It is heavenly! Omg! It was so good that I ordered another but was too full so I took it to go. It was still good after I warmed it up once I got home! I’ll definitely be back for lamb burgers. It’s one of the best lamb burgers I’ve had!

A cute intimate date spot with a nice ambiance. The drinks are creative and strong, the hookah folks and waitresses are very attentive, and the food was bomb. A lot of the menu has East African influence, making normal food like tacos 10x more delicious and flavorful. The DJ on Friday 2/12 was awesome too. A great experience all around!

Very small, but a nice vibe. Great place for a date, if you like hookah and want an intimate setting. Strong cocktails, excellent hummus, and $10 hookahs after 7. Only complaint is the place is so small that it doesn’t seem to have enough seating or ventilation. Of course a hookah lounge will be smoky, but the air in there is super thick. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was at capacity, had to sit at the bar.

This place has a very nice ambiance. It wasnt too crowded nor was it empty. The music was soothing and hype but those drinks were amazing! The food was good but was a bit too chewy as far as meat goes for my taste. Will definitely revisit again.

I had a great experience here at this lounge! It was my first time there. The manager and the staff were friendly, welcoming, consistent & FUN . I was frequently checked on. My pasta was flavorful. The hookah was smoking just how I like it!!! I even got a refill. This is a lounge I will definitely visit again.

The name brought me in, we stopped at this cafe/bar after driving to Atlanta to pick up camping gear at REI, trying to avoid commuter traffic. It was worth the stop. A bit pricey, I would classify it more as an upmarket bar than a coffeehouse, but my coffee WAS excellent. Attractive space, more sleek and modern than country cozy, but enjoyable to pass time in. The name Therapy fits...an hour there might calm your mind, but the price will make you decide that bi-monthly is the most advantageous frequency for your wallet.

Touted as a coffee & wine bar by Google; let me assure you, it is NOT. I came here to hang out for a while with a glass (or 2) of wine and get some work done. While yes, they do have electrical outlets at each booth so, in theory, you CAN work here but the R&B (only!) music is MUCH too loud, there is just ONE Chardonnay on the menu, the hookah smell was overpowering and the demographic is NOT diverse (I was the only white person here). Further, the square footage is much too small to allow hookah but alas, they do. Lastly, anyone who is into wine knows that white varietals are not served stemless. Heat is terrible for Chardonnay and changes the overall taste; hence, the reason it is ALWAYS served in a stemmed wine glass. Not the case here. Clearly, they are NOT a wine bar at all.Im giving it two stars, instead of one, because my server was quite nice and the establishment was indeed very clean and well maintained. However, its absolutely not the same environment Google described.

First time here was a few days ago and I had a great time. Olivia was my server and she was the absolute best. She fixed me the best hookah I’ve ever had. The drinks are reasonably priced and the location isn’t far from my home so I’ll be coming in more frequent.

I went on a Tuesday with a friend and this was probably one of the best discounted menus I’ve seen in a while. We ordered the shrimp and lamb tacos (definitely get the lamb) two margarita pitchers and a hookah. While I was pleased with the price of everything it was the quality of food and service that really made the experience. Staff were attentive and ensured our hookah coals were always hot, food and drinks were tasty and didn’t taste like “Tuesday special” food, ifyk yk. This is a quaint dimly lit space with a nice selection of Caribbean, Latin, and African music. Great for a party of two or a small group.

The place has a cool vibe... went on a Tuesday... Happened to be happy hour... Our waitress was new and it was painfully obvious. Also they attempted to extort me for 36 bucks for a half pitcher of margarita 🤣🤣🤣 Nevertheless the personalities they have there are a pleasure and our backup waitress was a pure Jamaican delight .. lol. Really nice chill place to get a drink and hookah. It is small and can become crowded on the weekends. Some of the staff is really nice while others are not. It is a hit or miss. The prices are very reasonable, $18 for a small hookah is good. The card machine went down while we were there so they were only accepting cash. Tip is also included, but overall the prices are good. The humus is really good.

Went here for drinks and hookah. Reasonably priced, no different than what I expected coming in without looking at prices. Servers were reasonably attentive, and once ordered things came fast. Only reason I may not have given it 5 stars is due to the space. Very small and I would prefer additional ventilation like overhead air filters that feed into the air ducts to drain the smoke. While my review would have been 4 stars, I’m placing 5 due to those not respecting the business effects of COVID in their reviews as of late! Businesses are doing their best to stay open and sometimes policy and/or price changes must be made to accommodate. I’d recommend supporting this business by stopping by and enjoying their presence as a neighborhood hookah lounge, bar and restaurant!

One of my fave places to go when in ATL. The hookah and food which was delivered (but was VERY GOOD), were both awesome. Not to mention the server. I cannot remember her name but definitely remember her face she was a sweetheart.

This place is the worst! Bad service and the owner condones it and is even worse! They should’ve stayed closed after Atlanta opened... avoid this place and go to a much nicer place that will treat you better as a customer!

Went here on a Saturday night and had a good time. Its small. Great for an intimate date. The music is a little loud so its kinda hard to have a conversation sometimes. The DJ was cool. She was playing a lot of fast paced music at first which didnt really fit the chill atmosphere. After a few hours they started playing more 90s hip hop and r&b, which fit the ambience a little better. The wait staff was very nice and attentive to us. The hookah was pretty good. I would definitely come back for happy hour.

My hubby and I visited for the first time yesterday. It was a cozy, enjoyable experience for us. We went during happy hour, so we saved some $. Honestly, wed go again, outside of happy hour. The menu is great. The food menu has East African influences. The desserts are tasty. The servers, while young, provided good service. I felt very comfortable at this hookah bar. The playlist was chill. It seems most hookah lounges have a different vibe and this one really worked for us.

So apparently if you arent known by the staff you get treated differently. I visited this establishment once before and the food was good so I wanted to go here to pick up a quick lunch. I called today 1/31/20 at 2:26pm and a young lady answered the phone I went to ask can I place an order to pick up really quick on my break she responded We only take phone orders for people we know So my question is do you take phone orders or not. As a business establishment you cant discriminate. Guess this place is a one and done for me.

My husband and I tried Therapy Lounge on a whim after searching for best hookah lounges in Atlanta. We weren’t disappointed. When we arrived around 10PM it was pretty crowded, but we quickly got a table inside. The staff were super friendly, the hookah was affordable, good music, full bar, and the food was tasty. Definitely going to be our go-to hookah place for a casual date night.

Today was my first back to therapy atl since the closing down of business and lets just say I wont be going back. They no longer have happy hour, their hookahs went from 20 to 30 and also you have an hour in a half limit at the table or spend $25 each hour. I use to come to therapy three times a week, but the new bartender and waitress were trying to force us to buy drinks when we wouldve naturally did it anyway. They came up to us every 10 minutes asking if we wanted another drink. The hookah was burnt up within 30 minutes as well. I understand the new normal but these new policies and rules of regulations are the reason why I wont return anymore after 3 years.

We are visiting from Nashville and found this place! Weve come to Atlanta several times before and couldnt find a decently priced place that was worth the money and this place was totes worth it. Its a chill atmosphere with good music and vibes. The staff is really lovely! When we come back we will definitely check them out again!

Unfortunately my car was broken into. The cops came quickly and the manager was helpful. Even though the manager stated they have cameras I believe they should have security outside due to the fact this has been an on going occurrence at this lounge. Just dont feel safe.

Been here 3 times. Every weekend since a friend referred me. Very intimate, relaxed and mature crowd (You can be 18 but mature). I try new food each time. Chicken fingers to some African food. Each time food tastes great. DJ is live and one of the best Ive ever listened to. Mostly international and 90s Only issue is time. they close before 2 AM.

Chill spot and vibe... hookahs are really smooth. My hookah guy was dope, constantly checking in on us. Music audible but low enough to allow proper conversation. TV with live games. Just a relaxed spot for hookah and pregame.

I went on a whim about a year ago and the place was amazing. Went back just recently and it has definitely changed for the worse. The hookahs are smaller and harsher. Not sure if it just Covid-19 policy but it is a minimum of $25 per person now. If you visit this establishment for just hookah you will have to get food or drinks.**EDIT**The hookah we got the very first time I went was bigger. This most recent time it was smaller so either yall have different sizes or yall switched to smaller hookahs. We made the server aware several times that the hookah was harsh. Why would we just sit there and say nothing especially since we were made to purchase two hookahs because of your $25 minimum per person policy. They came over there and tried to fix it but it still got harsh very quickly every time. Read the other reviews I am not the only one voicing my concern about this.

Today was my first time visiting, I WOULD NEVER COME BACK HERE!!! Service is straight trash!! We got a hookah, and the flavor was disgusting.. we asked shorty for a refill, I guess she forgot, because after 1hr we finally decided to leave the hookah, because it was taking too damn long- she forgot after being reminded 3x. Then we got the check, and they charged 15.00 for gratuity . And I see why they have to take it, because it’s definitely not earned.

I really liked this place! It is very small so please plan accordingly. I am a bar-sitter so I had no problems with seating. The bartenders were very nice and the food was good. Hookah was great as well. Prices are higher than comparables in the neighborhood but for the experience I didn’t mind.

I love coming here the hookah is fresh. The food is always great to the taste love the Greek salads. the waitresses are always on time they do a great job with serving my love leaving tips for them. The bathroom and sitting areas are always clean. The drinks are definitely on point Big TV to watch whatever game is on at the time at Food Therapy lounge.

Went here with a friend and vibe was cool. Chill and laid back but main reason we went was for the hookah and they werent good. We tried two different kinds and both times you couldnt taste the flavor at all.

Not worth $180 for wings and couple of drinks! I never leave reviews and I hate that my first one is negative. This place is a complete rip off! Warm beer, cocktails are okay, food is served in Togo plates and it took FOREVER to come out. Waitress knew nothing about the menu and she still added a $25 tip, I said something to her and she got an attitude saying “we been doing this for 6 years”. Not even an upscale place charges the way they do.

We did not have a good experience. We were told I know youre having fun, but could you please keep it down all we were doing was laughing and no one was complaining. That was such a weird experience!

Its a hookah lounge with a more relaxed energy and ambiance. The staff are friendly and attentive. I will return to this place for more therapy. LolIm also a chef in Buckhead so, If youre looking to elevate your food items or dessert I can give some advice or help you guys with new ideas.

Absolutely amazing. Our server was Cyrus and he kicked ass. He ensured we had a great time without being a pusher. When we had a recommendation, once the pull was too strong so we suggested that he use a different configuration of the coals and he did so w no problem. He even made a custom blend for us. We didnt get food but the drinks were outstanding. Once again, Cyrus made it easy to enjoy our visit by ensuring that our drink refills came promptly.The atmosphere is the star of the show. Its a great chill spot. The crowd was very diverse (from college girls w their Macs talking about term papers, to frustrated middle management types, to those who come just to come) and everyone was well behaved. Before the sun goes down, they play some online service (sounded like a Chris Brown playlist from Rhapsody), but when it got later, they switched to a DJ that was truly worth his salt.Bottom line: a very good experience from a group that has mastered their craft. Its money well spent and I honestly have nothing negative to say about Therapy.

Okay so there was three of us, lets just start off with the bad reviews on here make it seem like such an awful place but that was not the case. We got in we got greeted immediately and sat down our server Eden was AMAZING, she was always checking up on us and making sure we were okay. I loved the atmosphere and the diversity in music. Last night was carnival in ATL so it topped it off when they were playing reggae and African music. Their hookahs pulled so gracefully and their food was to DIE for! You must try the Greek fries they are a must! The drinks were small but so good!!! You honestly get what you pay for! Its in the middle of nowhere seeing how we live so far but we will be back!!

I like this place. WATCH YOUR BILL. I had No SECTION, 2 DRINKS, 1 HOOKAH- I was charged a gratuity. The previous visit sat at the bar had 6 drinks and two hookahs no gratuity added - I left a $20 tip! The DJ plays the same rotation of songs nightly 😌. Can’t quite put my finger on this spot but ... This is a great hookah spot. The people are really nice and they have a good selection of flavors. If you come on a Sat night, try to come early as it tends to get packed and the venue is intimate. They also have a DJ with a great mix of 90s, r&b, dancehall/reggae and African music.

Unique experience.

I have mixed views. I went in a Monday night, as I dont like places that get too crowded, and the vibe was great. A few other people there, and the music was relaxing, which added to the therapeutic atmosphere. The hookah was great. The drinks were insanely expensive thoo (including $3 water!) so I would suggest coming for drinks during happy hour. The food was also fairly overpriced, but this place is connected with the Ethiopian restaurant next door and I was able to order from the lounges and the restaurants menu. The vibe went down once I ordered my food. A couple of people came in who I guess were friends with one of the servers and they suggested more rap music. I love rap music, but it changed the whole vibe. My server was also not good. Im a server, so Im not quick to complain about service. I guess she was more concerned with chumming it up with her co-workers and her friends. I did get great service from the blonde girl with the short hair who was running the food and changing coals. She asked for my feedback about the food and had a warm and welcoming demeanor.

Just got home from here and it was great! I have been smoking hookah for a long time now and I am very picky about what I smoke. Been to a couple of places here in ATL and have been very disappointed in the hookah. Tried this places to night and was very happy. They got short hookah which I normally have a hard time smoking on because I have a large one my self but had no problem here. Also they packed the bowl correctly some places like Istanbul does something that make your smoke not taste very good. Also they have coffee and drinks and food all of which I found to be good the espresso was REALLY good and cant wait to go back.

Other than Nick this place has horrible service and I will never come back.. I waited 15 min to even be greeted by a waitress. Once one came to our table she even asked if we needed more time... after waiting over 15 min how could we. As if this wasn’t enough we waited awhile for drinks and hookah and this was only after asking to get some service. Did I mention the whole time the waitress was at the bar smoking hookah... I will never return...

A friend told me about this place and I love it! really laid back place with a great staff!

The coffee here is good. But its like visiting a nicotine addiction treatment facility. Be prepared to be bombarded by second hand hookah vapors. There is a constant haze. Personally, I dont want to be breathing in second hand hookah smoke, vapors, or anything else. Plus many of the customers are constantly spitting tobacco dip into coke bottles. Its pretty gross for a public space. Im all for independent coffee retailers, but my advice is to stick to Starbucks.

My girlfriends and I checked out this place the other night. Two of us had never done hookah before and the other was new to it. But we figured it would be fun to try something different and get some dessert after dinner.This place is part of small strip of stores with a snug parking lot. We were lucky to find a spot when we pulled in around 8:30p on a Friday night. We were also lucky to get a table inside! The three of us shared a both that I think was really meant for two.The first thing I noticed was their dessert case, because dessert! So after my friends decided on a flavor of Hookah (Queen of Sex??) we all picked a treat. One went for the creme brûlée and ate every bite! The other got the chocolate raspberry cake, which had layers and quite a bit going on. It was a circular cake about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide and seemed to have two layers - a spongecake on the bottom and chocolate mousse on top with a raspberry glaze to top it off. But this ended up being inaccurate. The bottom half is actually an outer ring of sponge cake filled with the top layer. The top layer seemed to be a dense chocolate cake. My friend wasnt crazy about the sponge cake part or the layer of raspberry on top, but she can be a picky eater sometimes.I went with the chocolate mousse with whipped cream on top. The whipped cream was a little weird - very dense and had a weird aftertaste. Maybe it wasnt whipped cream at all?? The serving of mousse is quite generous, but was a tiny bit too sweet for my tastes. Having a smaller portion or having it paired with a fruit might have been nice!
