Really good spot to go if youre into art, they even have a projector that displays many different images. Although with my very limited knowledge of art I could only recognize the name of the Van Gogh art.Not only do they have a fantastic Courtyard area they also have statues and a great cafe bar situation.Whether it be for romance or for proposal for marriage or maybe if you just want a drink its a good spot

Amazing place! Have come here many times and will continue to come. Berry berry tea is my favorite, just the right amount of tart and warmth for those of you who don’t drink. May I suggest the mango arugula salad and seafood dip too.

We visited at for brunch and it was a bit crowded so we opted for the bar rather than waiting to be seated. The bartenders were helpful and let us know there fab brunch items. The coffee was superb and the French toast and eggs Benedict were delish. The bartenders also gave us some recommendations for some night life in the area. I look to dining here the next time I’m in town.And tip the bartenders! 😆

This is more than a gorgeous resturant! The staff and food were excellent. There is a beautiful bar area and bakery filled with yummy desserts. We were there June 19, 2021 seated 1:15pm. NOTE: Credit card only business.We took a physically challenged friend for lunch and they were so good to her. Our waitress, Chantel, was so attentive and patient, a gem. The atmosphere so relaxing, calm and happy. Next time we are in Dunwoody we will return.

The atmosphere, the waiter and the food was Excellent! I had the chicken, spinach, artichoke and feta crepe for dinner and the Nutella and banana crepe for dessert! We got there around 6 on a Friday night and glad we did because there was a crowd when we left! Everyone who worked there and would pass our table was always asking us if they could get us anything! Will go again next time I am in Atlanta!

This is a nice Italian place a good expresso, cappuccino, coffee with alcohol, and other cocktail drinks. Saturdays and Sundays they have brunch all day open at 10 am. Monday through Friday they opened at 5 pm breakfast is served all day. They have a good espresso martini drink. The tables is set for social distance, including the bar. It is family-oriented and a nice place for a casual date. They have various cheesecakes and cake tortes to choose from.

I was very excited to try there cake and coffee because so many people recommend. Disappointed with cake, I ordered German chocolate and chocolate ganache. It was not as good as I was expecting. Coffee was delicious but not tempting to look at. Hot chocolate was good.

I love this place, been going here for years for date nights. Their staff is always kind and professional and the food is always so good. One time I went with my partner and ordered and I got my food but my bf didnt, so we waited about 15 minutes until we asked about it, because we didnt want to be pushy, and it turned out that the waitress had forgotten to place one of our orders. She was so kind and apologetic and put it on the house. We were very grateful.I usually end up spending $24 for an entree including tax, which could be a little pricey, but for the environment, amazing food and kind staff, its worth it to me.

The venue is nice. We sat at the bar. The bartender was not attentive although we were the only one’s at the bar. He stayed at the opposite far end I’m not sure what had his attention seemed he was doing nothing. We called him and he said he would be right with us although I saw him doing nothing pertaining to drinks. Oh well it’s a spot I will avoid. The caramel crunch cake was nice.

Cute little french style cafe. The ambiance is elegant and intimate, and the food is great. This spot is open late so its nice for an impromptu date night. The dessert list is infamous. Almost any dessert that you desire is available. I prefer their chocolate cake. Its very flavorful and rich but not overly sweet. I also love their patio on sunny days. There is plenty of parking, and lots of nearby walkable bars and shops. Nice hidden gem.

I used to go to the small Cafe on Peachtree before they moved to Midtown. I now live near the Dunwoody location and went in and sat at the bar. The bartender looked at me several times and said nothing. After 10-15 mines, I left. I thought I would get good service there but I guess this place is like everywhere else now.

We used to go to midtown cafe intermezzo but they are always on waiting list. So we tried dunwoody.My absolute go-to place for a nice, classy, romantically French night with coffee, desserts and friends. Love the candle light ambience. I always order my favorite hot chocolate Berlin A must try in Atlanta!

I drove there due to a recommendation. I ordered the peanut butter cheesecake it was delicious. They just need a better system for ordering it, it took too long for me to order one piece of cake.

Sunday , long wait to be seated ,staff doesn’t care much about costumers , so frustrating to get water in ur table , busy as afternoon brunch on Sunday after 2pm , food ok !

For me and my husband, it will always be Cafe Intermezzo. This is such a perfect place for a quick outing. During these difficult times its nice to see that they are practicing social distancing. So seating was space out to be at least 6 feet apart. They require masks inside. Their menu is now digital and you scan a QRG code on the table to access it. There was a little wait to be seated when we got there... about 25 minutes. But they take your number and give you a call when your table is prepared. Wonderful decor, ambience, drinks and location. My friends and I went here on a thursday night, and sat outside. The onnnnllyyy complaint is the service. It was pretty good but my water cup stayed empty. I had to ask other servers for more. Other than that the food was yummy, the drinks strong, and desert sweet. My friends and I will definitely return.

Two words: Don’t go. You’ll wait over an hour and then they’ll tell you to wait another 25 mins after that. I have never seen somewhere so unprofessional. I don’t even want to get started about the rude staff like does no one really teach them about respect and how to do their job properly.

Hey, Mr. Bartender guy. In todays world you have to be better at customer service. After we ordered one round of drinks, you never came back to our table. You did have time to lean against the floor cooler and chat it up with a couple of girls sitting at the bar, however. If you werent working that wouldnt be a problem, but you were. Meanwhile, we were sitting and waiting in the corner for another round of drinks. Sadly, you never came back. Finally, I had to come up to the bar to get my check. I bit my tongue when you asked how was everything, with no acknowledgement that I had to walk up to the bar to close out. It may be time to review your bartending staff after reading several reviews. Be Better!

Nice restaurant and service

I have come on multiple occasions. The coffee is slightly better on some days versus other ones. About their cakes, they all look so pretty but some cakes are very dry. I’d suggest the tiramisu. The place is beautiful and the service is good, but it can be a little slow, so come when you have time to sit down and stay there for a while.

Not a professional cafe. I called ahead of time and asked for a reservation for 9 people, and even specified that we’d be okay with 2 tables side by side. They did not allow us to reserve…not sure why. We arrived on site and were given a 30-40 minute wait time. This is the first time I visited this specific location of Cafe Intermezzo and will not be returning !

I had a wonderful experience. Came by myself, sat outside. I had an iced coffee drink with vodka (delicious), naan & lox, spicy tortellini and a chocolate peanut butter torte. Every single thing I got was fantastic. Absolutely worth the prices. My waiter was good too!

Taffy was an excellent server. She was very attentive, even with several other tables to take care of, and she made my first time at Intermezzo extremely lovely!

Pretty nice spot, great atmosphere for a coffee spot. Prices are reasonable and love that they have a good selection of coffees and alchohol. Breakfast is also delicious will definitely come back when I pass thru Dunwoody.

Great selection of teas to enjoy! The teas have always been wonderful over years of coming here. Also the ham amd cheese crepe is delicious.The dessert selection is always huge. Maybe 30 to 40 different cakes and cheesecakes to choose from. They can be very hit and miss (hence the 4 stars) with the quality of the desserts.Entrees have always been good, its the desserts that are sometimes a miss. Choose wisely.....

This is a great place to get a cocktail coffee, or a dessert. The food is bland but the service and atmosphere is exceptional. I had the tomato basil pasta-DO NOT order this, unless you lime disappointment.

Was there last night for dessert and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate and dessert were awesome. Its the first time Ive been here and truly had problems with the service. We had to run down the waitress to be able to pay and they did not check on us after it seemed like our drinks and dessert were slung on the table to us.

Outdoor dining only. Mask required while waiting for a table. They will provide one if you dont have one. Not sure how waiting for a table has an increase chance of spreading it then sitting down at a table without a mask. Got an Cafe Cubano, a little over priced in my opinion. Didnt order any good but it look good from what other people were eating.

This was my first ever experience at this cafe and what I like the most is the aura and ambience of this cafe which makes it very beautiful and romantic.My husband and I came here for for an unplanned date and we thoroughly enjoyed the time and dishes including the coffee. We went to the cake section also,which had yummy looking tempting cakes and pies and I’m sure they would taste as they looked.i wish I could have ordered any of it. Just a piece of suggestion,for people like us when we want to try some of the new types of coffee out of your giant menu,it gets little hard to imagine the taste through the description given below so we expect the servers to explain it nicely and suggest something good as per our choice. Went for desserts and digestifs after birthday dinner. The waiting time was extremely long (1hr and half), but the atmosphere was worth the wait.Havent experienced a café terrace vibe in years, and it was a great way to end the night.Also met a cutie who was sweeter than the cakes.All in all, fun times except for the wait time.

I love coming here the atmosphere gives you a European vibe like a cozy and intimate feeling. It’s a nice place to go just for coffee or have brunch with some friends. They have a wide selection of delicious coffee and pastries that are so good. I haven’t tried the food yet but I’ve heard it’s good.They have seating at the bar but they’re enforcing social distancing so it’s limited seating. Plenty of seating outside just to enjoy the scenery.

Love this place! I just discovered there is more than one location and I am pleased that the service is just as great as the midtown location. Great coffee and atmosphere. Its a little on the fancier side which the prices reflect but the quality gets top marks!

No matter which location I visit, this place never ceases to amaze me. From their hospitality, to the food, to the atmosphere, to the friendliness of the staff to the endless possibilities of food and beverage items, this place is a must go for a date night. It’s dim lit which makes the entire experience even more romantic. Their cakes and cheesecake will steal your heart. Every time I’ve visited this place, I always think of how they’ll top it next time.

Service is always bad here but the desserts save them; had a terrible experience lastnight where the group next to us was just following directions given by the host to order their drinks at the bar and then come back outside…then the lady swiping the floor started taking bad things about them right there in front of all the customers…the group just got up and went to next restaurant! I generously tipped 15% out of pity ! Sit at the bar or order for pick up !

Ella and Kris made our casual night out very pleasant. My neighbor Gabby and I sat at a bar and ate everything Ella recommended. Well... plates were empty at the end! It’s such an awesome place to chill and enjoy the atmosphere and the service (good food goes without saying!)

We waited for a table and finally got one. The reception was nice the waitress ignored us for 10 minutes. Another table sat and then she brought our water. She waited on the other table and took their drink order. She walked right past us.The other table got their drinks and she again walked past us.We left.

Adore the relaxing atmosphere and staff. I don’t go very often but the last two times I did and Kris (Kristoff) served me. Have to say, he provided amazing service in a timely manner, put in all orders correctly, and was prompt about my making my experience worth it. And of course, the food came out amazing both times. Love this place and have it set as my go to spot now. Highly recommend Cafe Intermezzo.

One of my favorite spots!!! Can we say desserts galore?!?! They help tons of cheesecakes and cakes!! The menu also includes pages and pages of food. They have soups, salads, appetizers (fruits, cheese, etc), sandwiches, and meals, as well as brunch. Drinks includes, coffees, teas, and liquors. Food prices range $8-$15. You can spend $75-$100 easily if you order drinks, food, and desserts.The ambiance is very quaint, upscale, and classy. You can take a date there or hang out with friends. I love to have my girl dates with my besties when we need to catch up.My favorite dessert there is the Oreo cheesecake. (I like the cheesecakes here better than this at the cheesecake factory!) However, I find when I go late, there usually run out of it, probably because its a top seller. (I always tell my sever they need to make extra Oreo cheesecakes for those late night arrival, like myself )Its located in a shopping center across from Perimeter Mall, so theres plenty of free parking.I highly recommend trying this place!

Cafe intermezzo has been my favorite for years but when I ate at the Dunwoody location the menu seemed reduced. I don’t know if this is because of covid-also 1st time using online menu in person. There was no gnocchi listed and no journal of drinks with multiple pages. The food was still delicious but I’m sad it’s not as exciting an experience to ponder the big intl drink list.

Horrible Mothers Day experience.Let me start by saying out server Fredrick was very nice and helpful.I ordered a chicken Cesar salad while my mom ordered the chicken tortellini pasta.My chicken on my salad was so HARD & DRY. I felt as if i was tapping hard plastic with my fork!While ordering, My mom requested no onions because she can not eat onions in her food. What a surprise! She had onions in her pasta!Also, I found potatoes in my Cesar salad ! Lastly, my Mothers mother day cake was extremely dry but she ate it because she was not able to eat her pasta.I am extremely disappointed with the food here.

Meh. I was excited to try this place after reading the reviews. I was disappointed. The food was just meh for me. The spicy tortellini that these reviews raved about wasn’t spicy and was pretty basic. Flavor not elevated at all. Just tortellini and a bland white sauce that coulda just been sores bought Alfredo straight from the bottle. No pizazz, no flare. I could’ve made better at home. My partner had the salmon pasta and there was just too much white wine so it was bitter. One plus it that it wasn’t overpriced. I ll try again for the desserts.

I have never been here but I’ve heard a lot of good stuff. I just ordered it for the first time and I’m pretty stoked just to try it. I’ve worked in restaurants for 15 years and can totally relate. Thank you all for feeding me and my brother this late. I do appreciate it!

Work on your customer service. There was no acknowledgement upon entering the restaurant, and it wasnt even busy. There were 3 people cutting the desserts who didnt bother to say a word or redirect anyone to the appropriate area (the bar). The bartender was alone working a full crowd by himself. I had to get the manager to ask him where it is I shouldve been standing in order to get service. It was me and another young lady that had the exact same experience at the same time. As expensive as this place is, you guys really need to do better.

Makes no sense. Tried to order to go and bar tenders looked right me while I was trying to get his attention and looked away as though I wasn’t talking to him. I like the environment and the food but bartenders are a no for me. Then I asked the bartender how much my bill was and he pointed to the bill as if to say figure it out. Smh

I went to this location with a friend a couple weeks ago. This was my first time at Cafe Intermezzo so I was really excited to try their desserts because I had heard great reviews. Unfortunately, the waitress spilled our drinks in my lap within the first 10 minutes of us being there. I had to sit through the rest of our meal with an entirely soaked lap. I even had to bear the (very awkward) responsibility of finding a new, dry chair by asking a couple sitting next to us if I could borrow theirs because mine was wet. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. I am not writing this to disparage the specific waitress, but overall, management did not ever acknowledge how much this impacted our customer experience. The only time the manager interacted with us was to ask when we wanted him to send our bill, even after we mentioned the incident. We didn’t want to cause a scene and make the waitress feel even worse (she appeared visibly shaken and was probably having a bad day I guess), but ultimately I left feeling like my dining experience didn’t matter to them and felt devalued as a customer. After that, I decided that I would NOT be visiting Cafe Intermezzo in the future. Hopefully others don’t have the same kind of experience that I did.

Our server, Paulena, was beyond immaculate! We had an amazing time, entertaining and very engaging in fun conversations. Very fun and positive, happy go attitude and super sweet. She told us we could ask for and she said she enjoyed our company too. I will definitely ask for her on my next visit!

Always like to go in the cake tour. Love the coffee and drinks and cakes. However, service is normally slow. Last time went there, our server didnt show up anymore after we got our food. So we waited and waited and ended up calling other servers to get our server to our table...

Ordered one little thing at 10:20. They waited till 10:40 (when it was supposed to be picked up) to let me know they’re not taking anymore orders and mine would be cancelled. My husband drove there and was about to walk into the restaurant. That was lazy and unprofessional... Never ordering from y’all again.

This place definitely has a European feel to it. We went for cheesecake - I thought it was great cheesecake but way too expensive for a slice. The whipped cream had no sugar which I loved.

My group waited 35 minutes for a table. When we were finally seated, we were told it would be a one hour wait if we wanted to order food. Im still speechless. Why didnt they tell us that 35 minutes ago so we could have placed our order then? They didnt seem to care in the slightest. Frustrating and terrible. We ended up going around the corner to Elans Bakery.
