Matt is more than a technician, hes a dad and a family man. Other than his current technical prowess hes constantly keeping up with the latest advances in the industry. Look at the walls when you go there for service better yet, go look at the certifications on the walls before you let him work on your car. Hes got so many frames on the walls youll think youre in an art gallery 🙂. But what Ive been most impressed with other than great timely service and his mastery of his craft is his honesty. How many guys do you know that work on cars that will talk you out of something that [you thought] your car needed, that would make the work more expensive, but the technician talked you out of it? He talks you in to saving money. Who does that? Isnt that where you want your wife, family, and friends to take their cars? By the way, hes taking steps to work on Teslas too. Where are you going to put that certification on the ceiling?🙂This is a pretty long review, but if you go by and look at what hes certified to do youll probably make an appointment on the spot.

Extremely knowledgeable of fine luxury models. Excellent service for a fair price. Matt knows his cars and I will be making this shop my go to with all of our cars, even the Bentley. Broke down on the way to visit my daughter in Atlanta on a Thursday morning when the AC compressor locked up, broke the serpentine belt and broke radiator hose connector nipple off the radiator, causing the radiator to be replaced! The folks at Vaughan ordered genuine MB parts, replaced the AC compressor, radiator, water pump and working basically around the clock, and had me road ready by Friday before closing, allowing me to keep my schedule on to Jacksonville! Matt Vaughan personally called to check on me while on the road to Jacksonville! Did I mention they also guaranteed the work for three years nationwide at any MB service center! Honest, quality work in a urgent situation! How can you ask for more!!

Horrible Customer service! Never have I ever heard someone say a diagnostic was $160 and it doesn’t go towards the repair! What a rip off! So like what is that $ being used for! I would never recommend these people. People are in bad enough positions so why would someone waste their time paying $160 to get a repair checked, for it not to go towards the repair!

I am a new customer to Vaughan Automotive and was referred by a transmission shop, once they realized my job was out of their skill set. I took my 2007 corvette over to Vaughan automotive repair shop to have my brakes repaired with pads and rotors . Matthew is very knowledgeable about all cars, you name it he can tell you about your vehicle. He will inspect your vehicle and diagnose what the problem is, and is very fare compared to going to the dealership when you don’t have a warranty. Matthew and his wife Brittney will give you the best customer service, it’s just who they are, it come from the heart. My first impression of Matthew Vaughan, was the depth of his knowledge re my Nissan Pathfinder 2002. He was patient as he fielded my questions on solving the problems that required repair in order to travel safe and secure to NYC return to Ga. 1900 miles.I trusted him and he did a great job. He is now my mechanic on this car and any future cars that follow, it great to have a Mechanic that you trust to deal and treat you fairly and knows his way around my car.

Im so glad to have found a great mechanic right down the road. Everyone is so nice and easy to deal with. They text updates with links to see details about what they find, exact prices, and approve work. They responded to my questions right away. They dont do tires and I had a vibration that ended up being just a tire balance issue. I took it to Mavis where I bought my tires to have them balanced, which they did and also told me I needed $950 worth of work done to replace the suspension and a pile of other things, including things Vaughan just did. I called Vaughan back and the mechanic got right on the phone with me and explained everything he did and exactly what he saw with those components and that it would be extremely early for those types of things to wear out. He gave me good confidence that Mavis was clearly just trying to sell me stuff I dont need.

Matthew was awesome! Somehow, he was able to figure out what was wrong with my car just from me describing the sounds it made. I treated it as if I was at my doctors office and gave him the full history...even the mistakes I made like getting an oil change wayyy after it was due (oil very, very low) 😟 But he fixed my baby, and she now runs better than she did before. I have mixed feelings about the service performed. Im happy that the repairs have allegedly been completed but expected more from the service side.First of all let me say that theres not many reliable places around the Atlanta area that performs electronic repairs for vehicle speedometers and hats the reason that I selected this shop, and theyve only been in business just 2 months and to my surprise, they Outsource their electronic module repairs.Matthew seems to be knowledgeable and skilled in his trade and I have no complaint concerning his capabilities.When I first contacted them I was quoted $225 for this very common repair. I do know that some additional work needed to be done on the speedometer but it couldnt be that costly.Once I arrive to the shop for the initial meeting the price suddenly went to $425 prior to even touching the car to troubleshoot, and told that be 2 days maybe 3 to complete repairs. For convenience sake I allow them to complete the repairs.Seven Days Later, I was able to pick up the car but still havent confirmed repair as its an intermittent issue.The dash was scratched where the cover was removed, the car was stored in a unpaved lot, although secure, it rained over the course of 7 days and my car was returned to me with it red mud splatter.One of my pet peeves, always has been and always will be, are shops who charge fees for no services performed or items sold, and referred to as shop fees. In my opinion this is just another method to charge you more money for their service and I understand that they say its to cover cost of their doing business with me for paper towels, wear and tear on tools, pay the electric bill, Etc. An additional $15 charge (3%) prior to taxes and I know its not a lot of money but it comes back to business integrity and quoting the correct price to begin with, barring unforeseen damages, including all fees.My view is to charge a customer a rate fair to you and the customer for doing business that covers all your business expenses without an additional line item fee. Imo.Upon reflection, I could have removed the speedometer from my car myself, overnight it to a reliable repair shop (there are many throughout the United States) who would repair it for guaranteed price of $179 with a lifetime guarantee on that particular repair for the common repair required ,and perhaps additional fee of replacing the second part that was thought to be defective, overnight it back to me once repaired, and I would have had my car back working much sooner and for about half the price.I blame no one but myself and as they say, experience makes the best teacher but I feel as if Ill utilize their services in the future as a last resort.

They went above and beyond for me! Services and charges were explained to me ahead of time in a way I could understand. Their prices were fair and they still came in under their quoted price because they found the part cheaper somewhere else. They didn’t have the part on site, so ended up driving to go get it. It was a bit of a wait (because you know, Atlanta traffic and all), but their waiting area was comfortable. They have netflix, candy, and they offered me a water, so I didn’t really mind the wait. I’ve gone other places in town and found them to be rude and wasn’t happy with the services and distrusted their pricing. I found Vaughan to be a very honest and kind place of business. Thank you!

I have a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser, and recently went to Vaughan Automotive to get my power windows fixed. When I got there I had one window working and three not working. The front two windows hadn’t been working in months. The right passenger window hadn’t work in over a year, but guesses what? The owner, Matthew Vaughan, not only fixed my rear right window for $298.00, but also saved me hundreds or dollars and fixed my front 2 windows. So I came there with one window working. Now all my windows are working again! I highly recommend Vaughan Automotive. This guy knows what he’s doing and could probably save you money on repairs.

Arrived punctually for appointment and quickly located the cause of an issue that had been eating my Lexus and wallet alive! After going to the dealer 2 times to correct a random stalling issue that almost caused me to get hit on the interstate and spending over $1100 in repairs that ended up not fixing the issue, I was referred to Mr Vaughn by a co worker. He found the issue in under an hour, a broken wire! Only cost me $159 and finally found the ghost that had been haunting my baby! It’s been over a month and no issues, still can’t believe it, I almost sold the car because of how much it was costing me and nobody at Lexus could tell me why. The best part of all of this is that I didn’t have to sit in a waiting room, arrange for a ride or deal with some service salesman.Very professional, would recommend to anybody!
