This place is very clean and friendly. The front desk was very polite and patient and took great care of me. I bought a nice 2011 4Runner and got all the work on it from here. Great quality service with VERY reasonable pricing. Moody from the front desk took great care of me and I found a new great mechanic shop to go to from now on.

Brian is pretty cool. Other than that. This shops picks and chooses what they want to work on. I had an Audi that needed an Evap system last year and another Audi that needed some engine work. They declined both work saying that it would take too much time and they didnt have the proper tools.

We have been taking our cars here for 5 years and always have a wonderful experience.

I went to get my annual emissions test, and had a very poor and frustrating experience. The individual who administered the test was rude and unclear, getting mad when I asked for clarification (do you need me to pull the vehicle into the garage forward or backwards for the test?) and I nearly got hit by a car entering their parking lot while I was waiting for the test to be completed. Even though I was standing near one of the concrete posts next to the right entrance to the building, not out in the parking lot, whoever whipped in came within a foot of hitting me. If it wasnt for the the service and almost getting hit by a car, the emissions test went fine! I will not be returning.

I have been living in Atlanta for the past two years and have had a hard time finding a trustworthy mechanic/garage. An acquaintance of mine told me to give K&M a try...I did, and so far I have yet to regret it! K&M and Bryan (spelling?) has been very reasonable with prices and has been completely honest with me. K&M has mounted new tires for me, gave me an oil change, replaced an O2 Sensor, installed new spark plugs and some other minor miscellaneous repairs. Bryan has always quoted me the costs before K&M tackles the repairs and I have not had to pay more than was quoted...if anything, I have paid less. Another thing I appreciate about K&M is that they are not trying to rob me of all my money. While working on my car, there have been other minor issues found but they have been good about telling me that they arent detrimental and can be fixed at a later date. I will continue to use K&M and if youre looking for a reliable, reasonable and trustworthy mechanic/garage....give them a try!

My experience with K&M was professional, pleasant, and quick. Im a young woman in my 20s and dont know much about cars, but I feel safe and comfortable bringing my car to them without fear of being overcharged or having shoddy work done on my car. My roommate and I have both had them work on our cars this week, and will be continuing to have them work on our cars. Bryan in particular was very pleasant! I trust K&M 100%.

Professional, friendly, everyone wore masks [as required], the lobby was cordoned off because of the virus, however, comfortable chairs were set up outside. Brian took his time to describe the work that I needed, and gave me invoices with the costs. He had to order a mirror/glass for the right side view mirror, and he had it done the next day as promised. The repair shop handles all maintenance. Recommended and will use them again.

I have had K&M do almost all of my car work since I discovered them. Ive always found them to be straightforward about what needs to be done and accommodating on schedule. They get the work done when they say they will, and if they are too busy, they make me a time to come back. Ive had other mechanics take my car just to get the work and then constantly say they are delayed - K&M asks my urgency and gives me a realistic idea of the timeline. Theyve done everything from tires to alignment to oil changes to brake master cylinder to fixing body mechanical issues (sliding door on minivan) to electrical problems (broken wiring harness). They always show me their price on parts, and try to get a good deal on them even when the part is a bit obscure/specialty. When I would check on my own, Id find they were honest about the cost of the part, and while some repairs have cost me a lot of money, Ive never felt they overcharged me or did anything unnecessary. Im comfortable relying on their recommendations and letting them keep my cars running.

Friendly, very professional and fair. The alternator died on my 2013 Chrysler 300 and they had it fixed in a day with no hassle.I would definitely go back to them again, I certainly felt like they were very upfront with all of their cost.

First of all, after 20 plus years of taking my cars to K&M Ive never gotten anything but good mechanical attention by honest people who do their work well and are pleasant to me.Also, if you have what seems like an overwhelming number of problems that you cant afford to fix all at once they will prioritize the repairs for you so that you can have the most important work done first and the least later on. They will also let you know if youre dealing with a potential safety problem.The owners, Moody and Kaz have a great sense of humor as well. I have never left there unhappy.

I needed to go in on a Saturday morning for an emergency battery replacement. Not only were they able to get in me in lightning fast, they gave me an honest estimate for the work-up price to test the battery and also the most reasonable price for the battery Ive seen on the market. The last time I had this battery replaced was about two years ago and they charged me more than double the price that K&M ended up doing it for. And I was in an out in under an hour (more like half an hour total time). Great service, great price. Highly recommend.

Im leaving one star because its a requirement. Overall the service was very subpar and rude. My vehicle was towed to the location mid afternoon. I spoke with a mechanic immediately following and was informed my car would be placed on the diagnostic machine. The mechanic informed me that it would be $95 and I could be expecting a phone call within an hour. Five hours later, I called for a follow up and was told my car had not been placed on the diagnostic machine yet but they would contact me in the morning. The next morning I did not receive a phone call but waited until the afternoon and called again. This time the mechanic told me he did not have an estimate of when they could work on my car. He continued to say that cars are worked on in the order they are received and my car was not the first car in the shop today. Unknown to them, I was calling from the bus stop across the street and could see the mechanics congregating, additional cars from yesterday in the parking lot, and my vehicle unmoved. As I continued to wait for the bus, I saw the mechanic go outside, recharge the vehicle, and move it to the diagnostic machine. Within the next thirty minutes, the mechanics were calling me asking why the car had been brought in. Despite this being the third time Id been asked this question and repeatedly told they were making notes, I repeated why I chose to have the car towed to them. I detailed what the mechanic had done previously and awaited a call for the final diagnostic and cost. I received that call less than two hours later and was quoted $131.00 for a battery (that is retailed at $98.15), $39 for labor and the price for removing a box they believed was causing the short. The total quoted price was $431. I agreed and arrived at the shop prepared to pay. I was then informed that they werent able to complete the removal for legal reasons but fixed the wire shortage (aka what Id told them previous mechanics had done but resulted in the fuse shorting out and me bringing them the car in the first place). Because they werent able to complete aforementioned tasks, they offered me a discount of $80.00. Reluctantly, I paid but I was quite upset. If they were not able to complete the job as mentioned before I should have been contacted so I could decline the service. In what world would I pay an upcharge for a battery that could be installed at home and to repeat the same service I brought to them to correct? Feeling upset but still professional and polite I returned to the shop and asked for a breakdown of the cost. Each time I tried to speak, I was repeatedly cut off, spoken to in an elevated tone and spoken to very rudely. Each time this happened, I responded politely saying I would like to not be cut off and allowed to finish my statement without having someone raise their voice at me. This continued to happen to the point of my voice shaking out of fear. At this point, I informed the shop employee I would not continue to engage in this unprofessional behavior and would be contacting the Better Business Bureau. This experience was unprofessional and I have reason to believe it was motivated by my age, gender and race.

They were good...fixed only the issues I asked them to after they did a full diagnostic on my car. I called around and the price they quoted me for the issues were comparable to other mechanics in town. Gave me a list of other recommended work needed, which is helpful. Fast service. I would come back.

I love K&M as you would if you had a frail BMW. K&M outperforms the Dealer and independent German shops consistantly. I no longer bother to get two bids on my expensive repairs. K&M has done my brakes, struts, battery, and PS fluid.

My husband used K and M for maintainance and repair work on his Nissan. It cost less than half of what the dealership had said it would be. I used them after I hit an island curb at high speed, blowing out a tire and setting off several warning lights. I told them what had happened and that I was afraid I had damaged the power steering and/or suspension systems. They put it up on the rack, determined that nothing had been bent or damaged, and realigned my car. The warning lights went off, and the car drove normally. They charged me less than $100. They could have told me that the things that I was afraid had happened actually HAD happened, and charged me a great deal more to repair them. They were honest. They fixed my Honda. They fixed my husbands Nissan. Im a happy customer.

I was recommended to this place by a friend. I went to the dealership to have a headlight replaced and was told it would cost almost $1400 ($900 for the wiring harness + labor). I took it to K & M; they were able to order this same wiring harness and put in a new headlight in under two hours. Total cost: $139! I will definitely be coming back to them for regular maintenance on my car.

I trust only K&M to work on my vehicles. Even if only an oil change - I trust them. Ive been bringing all of my vehicles to K&M for over 10 years. My son, my ex-husband, and everyone Ive ever referred business to, continues to do the same. You may have to drop off your vehicle for a day, as they tend to be busy, but your vehicle will be repaired and you will not be over charged. Kaz and Moody are the best!

Do not take your vehicle here for tires! One of my tires was leaking air so I took it here because it was nearby. They inspected it and said nothing was wrong, so i went home. A couple weeks later, my tire went flat, so I took it back and they cleaned the rim. A week later, my tire was still leaking air, so I finally took it to a different shop. That shop discovered that K&M cut the bead of my tire!! Now I have to order new tires!

Been going here for almost 10 years and this place has saved me thousands of dollar in repair costs. On more than one occasion they have tracked down used parts to cut the cost of a repair by 50% or more. Another time they spent hours trying to figure out a tricky transmission problem. Always trustworthy and never any issues with the work that theyve done. I will continue to recommend this shop to any of my friends who are looking for an honest mechanic in Atlanta.

My first visit was okay. My second visit led to car battery, spark plug, & tune up repair/replaced. Haven’t had any of these problems until my first visit with them. Both visits are $500 a piece. 🧐 I’m starting to think these people cause more issues on your vehicles so you can continue to bring it back to them.

The prices are pretty good. They tell you every single thing thats wrong and only one of the owners will tell you whats critical to fix and whats not; he is kind and sympathetic. The other owner/front desk man pretty much was like, either you fix it or you dont. They both will consider your situation and give a little discount here and there.

Honest, efficient, reliable. I was stuck about a half mile away when my car broke down. My smartphone was running out of power and I found them as the shop closest to my location. I made it there by 10 am, they fixed my car and had it back to me in a couple hours, all at minimal cost. Didnt try to take advantage of the situation, saw that my issue was a quick fix and had me on my way. These guys are the best. Highly recommend.

A year later I had some electrical issues with the same vehicle, and they figured it out within a day and the price was under $100.I will continue to use them

Received Emmissions Report on my 1995 Ford Explorer. In & out in about 15 -20 minutes. Reasonably priced. Was grateful to find a place that issued Emmissions Report for my old, old SUV. Customer Service was helpful and pleasant.

Worst service ever. They are so rude and never take time to explain anything to you. They used to be better but I guess people use them for their relatively reasonable prices and they get busy and drop the ball with their service.

I was wondering why such a bad auto shop could get so many 5 star ratings? First, the guy who seems to be the manager at front desk is super mean, he made me waiting for more than 1 and half hour for the oil change. What was worse, they charged me incredible high rate and didnt get my car fixed! They displayed all kinds of certificates but those are just bullshit. Ive used K & M a few times over the last months, and I have been pleased with the service Ive gotten from them. They are honest in telling you what is wrong with your car and in their pricing. Ive been looking for a mom and pop shop to handle our car repairs, and K & M is our place.

Ive taken many cars here over the years. The owner can seem a bit gruff at times. But they are fair, honest, and perform good work.

They have left tools in my 07 Nissan morano. They have taken 2.5 days to attempt to fix my Nissan Murano. They have ok service if u dont need ur car for some days or dont work than I would recommend this place for u. I had a catalytic converter replacement here when I needed the repair for emissions. Efficient, honest, and well priced for the work I had done. They are my new go-to auto shop.

I didnt want to leave a number of stars as I havent shopped there, but Google reviews required it. I figured they shouldve mentioned this on their site, but they didnt, so Ill mention it here. This place will not change a differential (and Im assuming they wont do any drivetrain work aside from transmission). So, if you want drivetrain work, this is definitely not the place to go.
