The meat I got here, it was fresh, the people were nice. However I did end up spending over 240$ on a few grocery items. Im not sure how that happened.

I am not sure how this store got a 4 rating. Unfortunately Google doesn’t allow us to rate negatively, because they doesn’t even deserve to get a 0. The store manager is extremely rude and will ask you to leave the store up front, if unfortunately you are not carrying cash and purchasing below $10. No respect for customers at all. The quality of the meat is also horrible. I would STAY AWAY from this shop for any future purchases.

Great variety of grocery products. They have good variety of dates mainly from arab countries. They also sell Meat products. They are open 7 days a week from 10 Am to 11 PM. They sell products mainly from India and Bangladesh. The place is very clean. Good customer service is appreciated. Just 10 minutes walk you can reach Doraville station.

They sold me a rotten smelly goat meat. Disgusting and the store manager needs to learn some customer service. I wonder how it got overall a 4 stars. Its a 1 star place. Yuck.

If you ask for a goat Leg, they will give Lamb and charge for Lamb. They will not respond properly as well. Better to avoid these guys. They will not respond properly for your question as well. Poor service. No respect for customers.

I feel good going back to Bangladesh Hala Meant & Groceries for my ethics foods; because the store is very clean, the quality of products are always very high and excellent customer service.

Mannerless and rude store manager. If you ask him about a product or even about a products location, he will pretend as if you should already know that by yourself.

The WORST store manager I have ever seen! Product prices are often missing. Yet, if you ask him, he will rudely react in a way that you would be shocked! Products are also of bad quality.

The behavior of the owner is rude and is also doing lot of illegal work by asking cash all the time to avoid taxes. Please be wary the meat sometimes stinks and I would try to stay away.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in any store. The guy behind the counter doesnt know simple customer service ethics. He got irritated when I asked the prices of different items as if I was a liability on him. Also the seafood is of poor quality. Chicken here is really good. You can choose which pieces you want or you want a whole chicken. You can get good sea/river fishes also. They have rohu fish but I wont suggest to buy it as it didnt taste good.

One of the best places to get Halal meat and Indian fish I have visited in entire USA. The owner is pretty cordial and also the worker in the back takes care of your small request in terms of the meat you are looking for and cutting into pieces to your desired size with no fuss at all. Also, it stays open till pretty late at night. Prices are very reasonable considering that the meat (goat meat) and fish is not readily available.

This is a small store with excellent collection of fishes here, but you need to recognize new stocks. I usually ask the shop keeper to help in choosing. Location is very convenient. They sell halal meat also - goat is my favorite from here. Its definitely a place worth visiting for Bengali living in Atlanta area.

Very head weight owner and a lazy, lying butcher!!! Even when we specifically asked for Goat Leg, the butcher cuts goat body also as goat leg and when asked about it, he dont care to answer in a responsible way, carelessly says it is only little bit mixed (and later he denied it when the owner asked.. Such a lier!!!.). When the owner was informed about it, he never listens to customer and argues that the butcher knows what to cut , and says he never mixes like that. And he bills the whole meat at the rate goat leg price. The owner doesnt respect the customer version of argument, and denies saying that the butcher is right and you are wrong. And calls the customer as rude if we argue on that. Never seen a shop owner with such a head weight!!! First he should learn to listen and respect the customer before doing business. The butcher is so lazy to weigh the meat after it was cut, even asked for 4-5 times also he wont weight the meat to split it equally, he will do approximation. He feels like he is super busy and cant do the small things like weighing the meat as per the customer need. Such a lazy butcher!!!

Great place if you are looking for bangladeshi products such as foods, cosmetics and utensils. The halal foods come in good varieties as in chicken, mutton and beef.

Available frozen fish. Chicken and goat are not frozen. Sometimes fresh saag available.

The shop owner is so arrogant and having beeda in his mouth while cleaning/cutting the meat. I asked him to show the meat, we have all the rights to know what we are buying, he cannot take it return so what is wrong in showing the meat. Dont go here.

In the contrary of what Rk RK said, I found the butcher (I am sorry I forgot to ask his name) very patient and efficient. I bought beef and two large fish. The butcher keeps his work place clean. I politely asked him if he care to not include all the bones and he did. I did not ask him to organise the 25+ pound meats in separate small bags but he did divide those in 6 or 7 bags. So nice of him! Yes, the butcher did not measure all small portion of my total order equally, who needs to do that and who would do that for you! My fishes were cut very nicely and even more nicely was packed into 10-12 pieces small packet with mixture of meats from neck and belly (gada and pety) of the fish. Fish head was also cut into several pieces and kept in a separate packet. I did not expect these from the butcher and I can not ask more. Thank you very much. We cooked the ruhi fish next day, it was fresh. I expect the Mrigel will be fresh too. The owner at the counter gave me small discount to round off to $250 total instead of ~ $254. I highly recommended this place over other near by places.

Not good meat. Bought lamb meat but they sold goat meat instead. Very slow and act like you came to get meat for free. Also bought beef, which we cooked for 2 hrs and still felt like rubber
