They are very busy, but they do a great job!! I took my Tucson in yesterday,bc I had an oil change last week, which resulted in me leaving with a loud muffler. I wanted it done right, that’s what they do. Less than 24 hours later it’s finished and sounds great! Thank you for taking care of your guest!

I took my car here because I was hearing a horrible noise coming from my car. I was expecting the absolute worst (having it kept overnight to work on & costing hundreds of dollars). I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up my car after work, that it took maybe 5 minutes and they were only quoting me $10! No random up charges for misc. things & the staff was super friendly!! Will now be going here for every car related issue.

First they were very professional and nice on the phone when I asked to bring my car in. I came in for an oil change and to get my shifter cable replaced. My shifter cable had been struggling to shift to park the week before. He called me a few hours after I dropped my car off and said there was nothing wrong with it. It did seem strange that it was no longer struggling the past couple of days but I wanted to get it checked anyway. So he only gave me an oil change. This tells me he did his job and didn’t want to just take my money. He checked if it needed replaced and was honest with me that it didn’t. He changed my oil, topped off all my fluids and put air in my tires and called me back a few hours later to tell me my car was ready. I was able to pick it up the same day and it was only around $35 which is such a good price! He told me if I see any more issues with my shifter cable to come back. Their business was professional, friendly, honest, and fair with pricing. I highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

The staff was friendly, helpful and upfront. Having work done on my car here next week. It wasnt greasy and stinky like most garages are.

I discovered I needed two upper ball joints on my vehicle 2 business days before moving across the country. These fellas got me in the next day and at a very fair price. I know they were backed up with business, but they took the time to do the job for someone in a pinch, and do it fast! Unlike nearly EVERY OTHER business in Athens, they were on time and did a professional job. Highly recommend.

I was DISAPPOINTED!!I asked them to install aftermarket headers and test pipes for my car. I had to wait for a week for my appointment. Then, I brought my car in the appointment day and they said its ganna need three days. I came back after three days and surprisingly they had not done anything to it. They say we couldnt make it on the period you gave us !!. I said okay, I can bring it next week. I brought it the week after and call them after three days. They said we couldnt do it!! What a polite sentence I should say here??? At least call me or tell me from the beginning that you cant do it, instead of letting me wait for several days.I am sorry you let me down guys

Muffler man is always a great place to bring your car for repair. They do all sorts of jobs, at a very fair price. They are very friendly and will explain exactly what needs done. They dont mind showing you the problem if thats what you want. If youre staying in the waiting room, its clean and there is a TV to watch. The bathroom is nice and clean.

Amazing shop. We needed an oil change before a long road trip and found them on our route. They were polite, professional, inexpensive, and quick. We ate muffins while being there and also discovered their lobby is a great place for an impromptu dance party. Highly recommend whether you are from the area or out of town.

I called Muffler Man about a brake issue and they got me in the next day. I had gone to Mr. Tire on Union Street initially because they had availability. Mr. Tire was trying to charge me around $700 for what they told me needed to be done. Muffler Man told me he could do the same work for somewhere in the $300-$400 range. When I got the call that my car was ready (finished the same day I dropped it off), Muffler Man told me that I didn’t even need as much work done as I had been told my Mr. Tire. It ended up costing me around $230, compared to the more than $700 dollars that Mr. Tire had tried to squeeze out of me. I highly recommend Muffler Man 👍

This place is great. I had a bracket break off of my exhaust system. They had it repaired within an hour and at a very reasonable price. My new go to repair shop.

Honestly, the best auto-repair place I have been to. I needed to take a 10 hr drive so I wanted to make sure my junker car would make it. Another repair place told me $2000 for what essentially amounts to a brake job. I came to Muffler Man and they did it for $200 which included fixing my existing rotors and getting new ones for next time.

This place is literally amazing. I am not from the area and was recommended them by a friend who is. I thought I had a dead battery so I called Triple AAA to jump it & they said it was find. So then I had to call a tow truck after searching for this place and told them my car wont start it might be my alternator or starter or both please look at it. They found that it was a corroded wire and replaced it quickly w/o charge. I am amazed with this service especially considering most places charge to just look at the car. I will most definitely be taking my car back if I ever have car problems again!

Paul and staff were excellent! My car went in at around 10:00am needing brakes. They not only ordered the pads and had them in on the same day, but they also had my car completed before they closed. Unbelievable - Best mechanic around. Monroe wanted $600 Paul charged me $43. Believe me you cannot go wrong with him.

After getting the run around from another shop I got smart and called Paul. Before the call was over he had me set with an appointment. Even with their busy schedule he fit me in within a short time frame and gave me a solid answer both of which I did not get from the other shop. Truck was fixed in no time at all and there is not one other shop in Athens that would have done me right on the price than these guys did. Could not have asked for better service than what I got from Muffler Man and learned my lesson for not going there in the first place. A big thanks to Paul and the rest of the crew at Muffler Man.

Will not go to this shop again. Tried 3 times in 7 days to do a single 02 sensor and they would not do it. Too concerned with talking in the shop it sounded like. Will go to the muffler shop in Logan or to autotech and have them do it.

My car was not starting and I took it to another garage first, in where they had no idea what was wrong with it.Then I took it to Mufler Man, and they identified the problem and fixed it in only 2 days. They charged me the fair price for that repairing too. If necessary, I will definitely coming back here!

They took a look at my car, figured out and fixed what was wrong in about ten minutes. Some simple problems. They didnt charge. One dealer was going to charge $50 for a diagnostic and another was going to schedule me four days later just to figure out what was wrong. Muffler man makes much more sense. As far as I can tell these are real people.

Best experience ive ever had at an auto repair shop. My car was barely driveable before I took it to them. They quoted me a price and ordered my part and said to come in at 7am if I wanted. I went in at 7am and was out the door in about twenty minutes, it was my lucky day. I wasnt even ready to leave yet I wanted to finish my complimentary coffee lol. The guys were no nonsense and answered all my questions without hesitation. This place is gonna be my go to shop for value, friendliness and service. I was extremely pleased thinking about my experience on my way home. Every shop should be like Muffler Man. PS .they do more than just exhaust systems.
