I had very bad shopping experience and was over charged the price without response for refund.I ordered online, and some items were unavailable, so they wrote me an email to exchange similar products. I was fine with the exchanged products and I paid the money directly online as they told me (a payment link).When I received the order, firstly, one item was expired, and I also found out that I was over charged the VAT (and I provided proof), so I asked for refund; however, they only refunded me the expired item and ignored the over-charged part! And there was no response anymore no matter how many massages I wrote them. What an awful service.In addition, the product prices are listed without VAT on their website. It only shows a lump sum amount at the last step of payment, so you can’t understand how much exactly you are charged per item.

Great selection of Japanese products 🙂I was in my happy place ! A bit pricey but worth it, especially if you are craving for Asian/Japanese products. I wanted to buy everything. Great quality items.wish they would expand into a bigger shop.

If you want to find good quality products for sushi or any other Japanese food, this is probably the only place where you’ll get what you need. There are some other Asian stores which are also good, but the choice there might be too generic. This store is the right place for people looking for Japanese products. I like the owner who is very polite, respectful for customers and very knowledgeable about things. Athens should be proud to have such a unique place here, it’s an embassy of the real Japanese taste.

This shop is a small heaven in Greece! High quality Asian/Japanese foods as nowhere else in Greece to be found as well as the best, most friendly and considerate customer service I have experienced in 7 years in Greece!

I ordered Japanese green teas and I received 2 packs of burnt leaves and stalks and twigs. I lived in Japan and I can certify that the tea is not coming from there, which the shop actually confirmed telling me that due to covid, they could not import tea. It is not said on the website. In addition the miso is not coming from Japan neither (contrary to what is said on the website). There is another label below the one written in Greek and the item is coming from... France!Finally, I have been charged more than the price indicated when I finalized the order. Apparently there are additional taxes that are mentioned only in the last step of the order.I would not recommend this store ever, and if you want good quality tea, get it with tearoute.gr, their tea is excellent.

The owner is an incredibly helpful and polite lady, she was happy to explain things and answer any questions I had. This place deserves 5 out of 5, 100% will go again!!

I was walking around the neighborhood when I saw this humble little shop. You need to press the bell before entering. I was welcomed by a very friendly owner who later on chatted with me a bit. Im not familiar with Japanese products but I can assure that Hiroko-san, the owner, is very helpful and willing to answer your questions. I will definitely return.

Little Japanese shop, right in the center of Athens. You can find all sorts of foods and candy from Japan. Also the old Japanese lady is very helpful and will help you with all your questions.

Went today (15th of June) at around 14:30, it was closed (shutters and all) with an OPEN sign on the door. When I tried to call them before I went there the line was busy for an hour at least. Called them again 2 hours later, still busy.

Permanently closed? Shuttered when I visited on 14 May 2016.18 May 2016: Shutters open, sign says open, door locked!

A very cozy and nice shop with popular Japanese food and other products.The shop owner is kind and speaks English and Greek very well.

Super cute little shop in the heart of Athens run by a sweet lady. Offers a small but nice selection of Japanese goodies. Taking into account of import issues, the prices are reasonable. Will come back for my regular Japanese fix!

The worst store never received my order and they told me that they will refund me and it never happened I have called them several times and they keep saying excuses my order was given on August 18 and I was told that I will see the money in three unacceptable

It has several things, certainly not all. Whatever the schedule and sometimes its orders are too late. Otherwise, its prices are complete but stingy.

I really didnt expect it to be a relatively small shop but the best I think has a lot of things from Asian cuisine and generally not very high pricesI dont think anyone should go and not find something they want anyway, as I said, its small, so very specialized things with a phone first and youll be fine

Genuine Japanese products and a generous Japanese host!

The owner is an amazing woman who undertakes to guide you through all the strange snacks, sweet drinks and soft drinks in the country of Japan. Prices at some a bit expensive but it has very nice snacks. Do not forget to get mochi just amazing.

I got a fantastic soft drink from the store and some chocolates filled with green tea. It is very beautiful but small! The first impression was very good !!! A very nice place to find Japonese products !! You should try this !!
