Not the best shopping experience but not the worst. I am not a plumber but my errand was for plumbing parts. First visit to this location. No floor staff was seen or asked to help me. Would give them 3 🌟s, but the cashier was most pleasant. Plus, Im grateful to have found what I was looking for.

The staff does their very best to help you find what youre looking for. And, they really step up if youre not sure what you need. The store kitty is such a sweetheart, shes awesome! Love to support our hometown people.

I usually go to Lowe’s for most of my things because of price but these guys always have what I need when I do stop by. They even have some unique things that Lowe’s doesn’t have.

Waaaay too expensive! You can get the same stuff at Walmart down the road for 25% or 35% cheaper!!!!!

We were looking bolts & washers to finish putting together some furniture with missing parts, they were very helpful, as always.

Always pleased to see they have supplies I need when we shop. This is my 1st place to stop. Thank you.

I am extending a couple sprinklers in my yard. I found everything I needed for this project here. Employees seemed overwhelmed by the workload. Not sure what workload was so excessive, there were only about 5 customers there. We were approached in the parking lot by someone asking for our change or any money we could give them.

I would have given 0 stars if I could. Our total was $154 and some change and I wanted to split the charge on two cards. The cashier didn’t know what she was doing and couldn’t figure out how to do two cards. She called a manager who didn’t know, then called for Danny, the owner. He was incredibly unprofessional and rude. Completely incompetent on how to work his own machines. When we stated that we would just go somewhere else, Danny was more than happy to see $154 dollars walk out the door. I will not return and will spend my money elsewhere.

Tommy is awesome and very knowledgeable. Our washing machine hot water valve was leaking. I took a few pictures and a $1.49 fix is completed. Tommy not only correctly diagnosed the problem but took the time to actually assemble the new screw and rubber washer. Thanks so much! No more leaking, could not be happier.

I entered this establishment close to closing time. After the staff locked the door, I had 3 different workers approach me in a 15 minute time frame, asking if I needed help and informing me they were closed. I felt very rushed to complete my purchase. The last worker upset me to the point I just laid my items down and left. Very rude!!!

One of my favorite places to shop. The employees are very helpful and the store is clean, well organized and stocked. However the cashiers are not really all the friendly and most wont hold a conversation with you. A smile and a kind word goes a long way. Either way I still give it 5/5 ☆s

They have a good selection of items for your home, garden, and hardware needs. If you need something older or unusual, Spencer hardware has hard to find items. Together, they can supply a most hardware

They pretty much everything you need and several things I hadn’t been able to find at other businesses. If they don’t have it, they said they can get it quickly. Very helpful if you need help with a project.

Groom & Sons outperforms Lowes in Gun Barrel by far employees know the store inside out what they keep in stock and a general knowledge of prices if you go there you must meet Richard in plumbing he is a fantastic employee and knows his business inside out

Its a large store with an extensive inventory. Staff was helpful and didnt stock the product I needed but offered to order it online. The establishment had a small town vibe coupled with a large store.

Walked around store for a while before finding anyone that would help. Cashiers were busy discussing their previous evenings exploits. The Customer service person was berating another customer for returning an item that had been purchased from the Chandler location. If we dont stock the item we cant take the return even with the receipt . Dont blame the person for walking out. Maybe management needs to get a hold on their employees.
