Reasonable selection but Kroger is better

I had a frightening experience today at the market. When I walked in and noticed one of the employees behind the counter did not have their mask on I lowered mine. When I was told to put my mask back on I calmly questioned the double standard. The employee behind the counter then escalated to the point of combativeness, and we complied to leave when he asked. He followed us out of the store and continued to berate and harass me and my female companion. When I contacted Gary who is the owner, Gary seemed to shrug it off and even accused me of threatening them after I advised my concern that this type of behavior could result in either a customer or an employee getting injured. Ill never spend another dime there and quite honesty would be scared to even enter the premises again.

Between buying my own personal spirits or for a business as wholesale, the staff is spectacular, helpful, and friendly. It will be the only place I shop.

Terrible customer service. They rush you off the phone. One word responses. All while never really answering the questions. I go to Kroger every Monday morning to get some “rare” stuff from a whiskey perspective and was going to go to Busy Day every Friday, not now. I recommend going to Kroger where the staff is friendly and will help you.

Great place for alcohol. They have something for everyone here.

Everything is easy to find and they have reasonable prices and friendly checkout people. Overall, a convenient place ifnthey have what you need.

First time here we found Zaya Rum there that we have been looking for. They have a good selection of liquor and mixers. Stop by and check this place out.

Busy Day is very conveniently located on Stimson Avenue, directly across from the entrance to Palmer Place.The employees are very friendly and helpful. There prices are competitive with the surrounding area, with the best beer prices in the area.Dont forget, you can take your dog in the store with you and the staff will always make sure your furry friend gets a treat or 2.Thanks, Gary and The Staff of Busy Day for making my day easier.

Great place to get liquor. Few snack foods also.

It may be a student liquor stop, but its a student liquor stop with great prices and an expansive selection.

Not to busy when I was there.

They claim to have the largest beer cave in Athens, and if you consider the whole store a cave, then yeah, I guess theyre correct. They do have an amazingly diverse beer selection.

I held the door for someone and was thanked. Also, the market had what I was looking to buy.

I go there several times a week, they are awesome. A good complement to the Farmacy next door.. I usually go to them both at the same time.The gourmet entres are very good, especially the Pastisio, Salmon Cakes, and Lasagna Rolls, among other things. They also have day to day items and a good assortment of beer wine and other drinks. Oh yeah, and fresh coffee with 50c refills.

It is 6:48 on Sunday evening and there is a post it on the door that says back in 5. After waiting 10 minutes I had to go across town to get the things I needed for my engagement at 7.
