Car rides great. Service is excellent. Do wish they would call when the job is done, but still 5 star service.Staff is very friendly.Also, car rides great.

I would recommend these people to anyone. They do good work, they are honest with you and dont try to sell a service thats not necessarily. Very competitive pricing, especially compared to Pep Boys.

I was traveling from Illinois to Florida when my low tire gauge came on while on I-65. Lucky when I got off interstate Tire Discounters was just a short distance. Stoped and ask if they could get me in and on the road. Big bolt in middle of tire. Got me diagnosed, fixed flat, and on my way in less than 45 minutes. What great fast work and wonderful Southern hospitality.If you have a chance to buy tires from them I expect you will get great service from great people for a good price.

Even though they were short staffed they were done with my 4 tire mount and balance in a reasonable amount of time. They were courteous and honest about any additional services that were needed. The waiting room was clean. Ill be bringing my other vehicle for tires very soon. Thank you again Marion!

EDITED: Now changing my 3 star review to 1 star, after taking my car to get a second opinion I do not have blown struts on the front driver and passenger wheels. I was informed that both front struts were completely blown by tire discounters. Not only are they insanely expensive but they will also try and get over on you to take money out of your pocket. UPDATED EDIT: What I speculated as being a bad wheel bearing and was informed by tire discounters as being blown struts did in deed turn out to be one bad wheel bearing on the front passenger side. Was informed by Tire Discounters that the wheel bearing were just fine.

I arrived before 8AM and was the first in line. I told the guy I wanted my tires rotated and an oil change. After about an hour and a half he comes and tells me my front brakes need to be replaced. I just had these brakes checked two weeks before by the local Ford dealership and they were fine and I told him that and that I didnt want any new brakes that he was trying to sell me. After two hours they had my car ready to go, or so I thought. After checking out with the guy I found out the two hours I waited was for an oil change only. They didnt even rotate my tires like I told them to. I told him I would NOT be back. BEWARE!!!!

Did a great job replacing my Tires, were efficiant and friendly. Had my car picked up and dropped off with new tires while I was working. Didnt have to miss any time. The pick-up service adds a world of convenience to an already great job.

The team at Athens Tire discounters is great! Made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. They took me on time, and was done in about an hour! Waiting room was clean and I was able to get some work done while waiting. My only complaint is that the tv was loud, a little distracting while I was working but there was another customer watching it so I didn’t mention anything. Highly recommend the team here on Athens.

My husband changed brakes and rotors on our truck and ran into a problem and the ABS light came on so I called told the guy on the phone and in person we was having the truck towed in because no brake pads on driver front and all the parts was in the back of the truck even took pictures then 2 hours later he called said truck was ready said I could take all parts back come to find out they bled our truck with NO brake pads and if I didnt ask they would have not told me then the piston blew. I get there to pay and he tries to charge me lots more then actual hours they worked on it. my husband picked it up and the abs light came back on. so I called on Monday morning for a refund because the job was not done. customer service said if I wanted a refund I would have to take to that or another location so I carried to Madison they tried different things still did not fix the truck said it was not leaving till the light was off that was another lie tried to say I needed to drive 15 miles and it would reset. NOPE! I have not heard back from customer service and have left numerous messages and asked the area manager to call me 3 times and have not heard from him. they are a rip off and we have finally got the truck fixed by ANOTHER mechanic. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS RIP OFF COMPANY AGAIN and to top it off another guy was there the day i was and the mechanic broke a spark plug off in his truck and did not tell him.

Called on Friday to schedule 4 new tires and oil change. Told them we would drop off in drop box. On Saturday we got call that car was ready for pickup around 9am. We came at 2pm to get car.We asked and they had forgot to do the oil change. Waited an hour 2 to 2:50 for oil change.I left and drove for 10 mins and got an error of “low tire pressure.” Noticed a sound of flat tire as well. Back to the store.

Disgraceful and disrespectful - would leave a zero or half star if I couldcalled on Friday 6/18/21 - scheduled car drop off at 10 am. On Saturday 6/19/21- the Car was there by 5 min till. Upon entering the parking lot, cars were EVERYWHERE. My husband took keys in and notified them of a 10am appt vehicle was here. The man at the counter was pleasant but obviously overwhelmed. We were told an employee no called/ No showed. Relief was spoken by the man behind the Counter that we A) had an appointment (not a walk in) and B) because we would be dropping off ( I assume to give them more time) We began calling for an update around 2pm. Nothing except a phone that would ring literally OFF THE HOOK... around 3pm I was able to get the gold commercial routine that played on hold for TEN MINUTES. Driving back from Madison I was almost there after holding. We arrive to find the car parked in THE SAME SPOT- my husband goes in (its raining )& is in the office for a while - said there were 3 other customers in front of him - only to be told they FAILED to arrange the delivery of the specific Tires we ordered from Madison Store and therefore they had it done ANYTHING to my car which I dropped off FIVE HOURS earlier WITH AN APPOINTMENT! Not only that , didnt bother to call or answer the phone ... The man at the counter was beyond upset himself as he had dealt with at least one other aggravated customer who had waited all day also & still had not gotten their stuff done either . We are still waiting now & 3:30 pm- our ENTIRE day has been WASTED ON TIRE DISCOUNTERS and they dont even consider WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT- yet everyone else who walked up is done and gone for the most part. Biggest SHITT SHOW in Athens - I understand being short handed - esp now since some have been paid more to sit at home - but the LACK OF COMMUNICATION- to provide me info I could have proceeded w day off needing done activities or made a choice to go elsewhere!! WILL NEVER BE BACK!*of note they did try to smooth things over for absolutely holding up my entire day off by offering to upgrade my tires for free free isnt anything when you have essentially stolen time - which I can not ever get back.

My overall experience was good. The folks I dealt with were courteous and friendly, the waiting room was clean and comfortable, and the service appears to have been performed competently. I have two complaints. My appointment was for 10:00 am but my car was not moved into the service bay until 10:45. I think thats too long a delay. Also, when I checked in I asked for a quote for a set of tires for another car I own. I didnt get it. Too bad that you let small, avoidable annoyances lower my satisfaction.

This place is awesome. The guys working there go above and beyond normal service. Mario has looked out for me a couple times and knows what real customer service is. Good leadership makes for a successful business. They will forever have my business.

Mario runs a joke of a store. They messed up my wheel on my truck. No big deal, accidents happen. They offor to fix it. Said it will take two days. Over a week later and he cant even call me and update me., I call and talk to mario, he has no clue whats up with it and says he will call me back in 20 minutes, I get nothing back. Hopefully a bad review will get him todo his job.

Even tho the wait was a little long but they got my fixed right I had other problems and the mechanic fixed the problem no charge they only charged me for the work I requested I highly recommend going here

Beyond the best service I’ve ever had . Told the young one at the desk my situation had my tire fixed and serviced in 45 mins ! And she acknowledged my little one and made it not so bad of a visit and understanding. Loved the area for children as well.

Wanted to hire me and sent me in a road trip to a class and did not refund me for my expenses after telling me the next day after getting there they couldn’t hire me. Even had me walk away from my job as if they were going to I’ve been contacting them several times to get refunded for the trip and for the gas and my time very rude management ignoring phone calls and not responding to texts.
