Had a puncture from a screw in a tire, mr tire said it could not be fixed and I was quoted 160$ for one tire. The guys at huddle were able to fix it and if I wanted a new tire it would have been like 80$. They also did a tire swap on two cars for me for me for a good price. Only place in Athens that will get my business.

I had an emergency situation with my car starting and they got me right in and tested my battery. I just went next door and bought the battery and then Huddles replaced my battery within minutes. Amazing customer service!

My boyfriend took our vehicle down to have it looked at, after looking it over they told him what was wrong and the cost (ball joint was bad and needed replaced).. said they could get it in right now to get it fixed. Even gave him a ride home so he did not have to wait around for 3 hours and came back and picked him up to get our vehicle. Great service with great pricing. I would recommend. They do more than just tires!

Rick (A manager im assuming or was at the front when we arrived) was the tech that helped me and my fiance today and he was VERY POLITE , RESPECTFUL AND HELPFUL!! Answered multiple questions for me other than the first (which was can you all change a tire for me and how long will it take...?) and even though we came for a tire change on a rim I already had off the vehicle he didnt have us waiting for an unanswered amount of time. 20 mins is all we was there!! Loyal customer of 10 years. Thankful to have these helpful, trustworthy mechanics on hand, and who are very reasonably on pricing. Only drawback is that this place is so popular that occasionally you might have to wait longer than anticipated. That said, its worth the wait to know your car is in good hands.

Best repair shop in Athens. Very reasonably priced, friendly and helpful employees, that dont make you feel silly for asking questions, and they get to your vehicle as quickly as they can. I have taken my Jeep there for issues ranging from the radiator, alignment, brakes pads and rotors, and most recently the AC Compressor. And I am satisfied every time.Call Huddle.

NEVER GO TO HUDDLE! One of the guys tried to rip me off and told me I had a broken belt in one of my tires and told me to come back the next day, the next day he said that I need two new tires instead of one and that he wanted to check my brakes and to come back in a few days. In the meantime I had someone else look at them and they were all perfectly fine!

I was traveling through Athens last week (out of state) and had car trouble. Huddle Tire graciously worked me into their busy schedule and got me back on the road quickly and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

After being quoted $1000 plus labor for a new brake line and fuel line at Monro on State, I had my car towed to Huddle. They replaced my brake line and checked my fuel line (which was fine) and I was only charged $156 total. I really dont have any complaints about the service at Huddle. Theyre friendly and seem to know what theyre doing for a decent price. I will absolutely go there for any future problems.

Great find for both tires and maintenance/repairs. Have taken both our cars here for several years; the usually can fit us in next day. Honest work and more than fair prices.

All in all, these guys seem pretty fair and knowledgeable. They took my vehicle in, gave me a reasonable repair quote, and then were very courteous and respectful when I told them I didnt have enough to pay for the repair. The pulled it out front, shook my hand and wished me the best. My only complaint is that they told me theyd get me in right away and I sat around waiting for an hour before they pulled my truck in. Also, the place is a little rough. Not as clean and comfortable as some other places Ive been.

So, I went in and asked if they could do my brakes the same day. They were totally cool about it and said to leave it with them for a couple of hours. No big appointment a week away, just a straightforward answer and a fixed car two hours later. They are great.

Huddle Tire & Auto went above and beyond to help my son.He is a student at Ohio University whose car wouldnt start as he was leaving to head home to NJ for winter break.They stayed after hours on a Saturday to work on his car. Huddle Tire & Auto are honest,caring professionals.I would highly recommend them.The shop is located close to Ohio University.If you are a student at the college and need help with your car, this is the right place to bring it to. I just cant say enough good things about this place!

They are great! I moved here from Chicago in June and have been with the same garage for 10 years. I decided to try them because I needed a part swapped. They got my car in asap and only charged me $25 as they did minimal maintenance on the car. That would NEVER happen in Chicago. I was very grateful and the guys are always friendly. Wooo Huddle :). Traveling from Columbus to Belpre my TMPS signal light came on we stopped in Athens to have the tires checked, they took my car in immediately and checked the tire pressure on all the tires. They had us back on the road in less than 30 minutes.

They wasted about 3 hours of my time performing a 1 hour job. You would think a tire shop wouldn’t take 3 hours to replace tires... absolutely ridiculous.

Well when u call in and ask if they do down payments for tires as a “buy here pay here” they then proceed to say all of it. I think there employees need to go back to elementary school to learn again

Ive heard nothing but good things about this place, so I really thought I found a gem. I went to get new tires on my car. They had my car for over 24-hours saying they would call when it was finished. No call. So I walk it and its apparently has been done hours ago with no notification from their staff. After a week, I found out they did not put enough air in the tires (25 psi), nor did they rotate the tires to the front. Then I found out my 2009 Honda Civic with 44K miles on it had its right emergency brake cable broken. I talked to a specialist and they said its almost guaranteed that they did it. And wanted to charge me over 200 dollars to fix it. I do not recommend this place at all!

Its a challenge to find an honest mechanic, which is why Im so glad theres one in Athens. After taking my car for an oil change at Monroe Muffler, I was told I had a loose tie rod and was quotes north of $300 for a repair, including wheel alignment. I took it to Huddle to have it checked out only to be told it was barely loose and not in dire need, and that the repair would be about half as much as Monroe. I didnt get the repair so I cant comment on the quality of their work, but they didnt charge me for the inspection. Needless to say, when the tie rod finally does come loose, Huddle has my business.

We had my wifes tires replaced at another shop in town. We took it back there twice to have them fix a slow leak. The leak got worse so we called Huddle. After 40 minutes the leak was gone and at no charge. It seems the previous shop did not seat the tire bead properly. From now on all our business will go to Huddle.

I went there today May 24, 2018 to get four new tires on my car. I had an appointment for 2p I arrived at 1:30p let them know I was there, gave them my keys and took my seat. They took my car into the shop at 2:30p and didnt put it in the air until 3:45-4p. Noone came over to let me know they was running late they just let me sit there and wonder what has been taking so long. Well they ended up only charging me for the tires and not for putting them on for me (without me even needing to say anything). I understand things take time and some things happen unexpected that is fine. What Im more upset about is that when I arrived home and open up my door I look at it and on my creamy white fabric car paneling there is oil and grim all over it so I looked at my seat as well and it on the side of them. I understand they are working hard and they get dirty, but when a cars interior is off white you need to be more careful, I try my best to take care of my car and keep it clean so for them to be the ones to mess it up is very upsetting.. They are closed now so I cant contact them and inform them of this but just a heads up that it could take forever and your car could come out a mess.
