My wife and were passing through Athens and decided to stop at Allpower because my stepdaughter and her husband was looking for a new mower/tractor. We meet Bob Drake and he was very professional. He took his time with us, answered all our questions, and provided print outs so I could do my homework. There was no sales pressure just a genuine willingness to help. As you can see in the attached photo my stepdaughter and I made the trip back and purchased a Kubota BX1880. The facility was clean, the showroom was well organized and the finance department, Al, took great care of us. I highly recommend Allpower. It was an all around great experience. This is being posted by Dave Bass.Ive been taking care of my cousins yard for 3 years since her husband died. I have a little bit of maintenance experience on equipment & I try to take good care of my cousins mower.They bought it in 2012& is a bx1870.Its been a great machine & has been kept up regularly.The last time I mowed with it as I was finishing it overheated.I checked it today & added fluid as needed.About 30 minutes into mowing it started to get hot again. I was out of ideas what to do & was afraid of a water pump or some other expensive repair. I called All Power & they advised me to take a screen out of the front of the radiator & to clean it& the radiator carefully. I did so & now its running cooler on the gauge than it ever has! I sincerely appreciate the fact that they advised me properly & didnt have us do unnecessary & expensive work or even have us take it to their shop& tell me they were going to do something but then do another.So rest assured that Ill be happy to recommend them to anyone who needs work done or is planning to buy a piece of equipment.Thanks again to All Power in Athens!

I got a new Kabota 5660 tractor and three extra attachments, and loader, for less than another dealership wanted for just the tractor. Talk with Randy.. only thing is it took a while to get it delivered. But I can wait a week for the thousands Randy saved me!

Originally took cub cadet pro z 972 in May. Mower has 70 hours on it. I bought it new at All Power. After 20 minutes of mowing it would loose power start missing have fire coming out exhaust and extreme oil blowby coming out dipstick. I expected that nothing would get repaired on first trip because it seems like nobody will fix anything on your first trip these days. They cleaned the gas tank and sent it home after 2 weeks. That didnt fix it of course. Then they replaced the short block (new pistons, cylinders, etc). Basically everything except the head and valves which by this point were clearly the problem. Still didnt fix it. Dealer says Cub Cadet wont fix it and that I should call Cub Cadet. So after weeks of calling and getting a different person every time, they finally talk to Cub and replace the carburetor (???). Machine runs fine at startup how would a new carb fix anything. So I am 2.5 months in and finally frustrated enough that I am going to start over at a different dealer. Dont buy from this store if you want a dealer who will competently repair and stand behind the equipment you buy from them.

I purchased a Kubota this year and had nothing but problems with it.Had them pick it up 3 times ,still not fixed.My husband called them today to come get it and fix it again,They want a hundred dollars to pick it up and its under warranty. They wont let us trade it in unless we upgrade.We told them call us when you get something in,of course no phone call .Im seriously thinking about contacting an attorney. I dont recommend this dealer.

Randy Pierce helped me significantly pick out the exact zero turn mower that would fit the requirements I needed for the acreage/property that I mow. He asked me questions about my property and in addition, he asked me what I was interested in (steering wheel, steering bars, etc) to determine the best mower for me. I wanted someone I could trust that would align me with the right mower, not knowing ahead of time anything about zero turn mowers. He walked me through how to use the zero turn mower while in the store and fixed it that it would be delivered quickly. When the mower was delivered the man spent lots of time with me answering all my questions in order to operate it once he left. Randy and all the staff are super positive staff with excellent customer service. I love my zero turn. I have bought a weed eater, push mower, riding mower, and leaf blower there over the past 10 years. The service and parts department are extraordinary with their knowledge and support.Thank you Allpower. I love doing business with all of you.

I wasnt happy with my service experience here. Brought in my lawn tractor because it wasnt pulling hills and was having a lot of trouble starting. First, they couldnt pick it up for over a week and then couldnt work on it for another week. Then, although I had scheduled a service time and day, it took them almost a week and a half more to do what they admitted was 2 hours of work on it. Worst part: they didnt fix the problem (not pulling hills). They didnt even try to diagnose the issue as far as I can tell. It does start much better now, so they managed to fix that. All in all, they had my mower for the better part of a month and returned it without fixing or diagnosing the problem. I ended up pulling the transmission and changing its oil which fixed the problem. Why couldnt they have done that? Oh, and every time I called to check on the progress, the person on the phone didnt know what the status was. He always said he had to talk to someone else who was almost never there as far as I can tell. NOT recommended for service.

Purchased a very nice Cub Cadet they were very helpful. Thanks Brad. Went back because they put a better one out there with a brush guard on it to check it out. No one came out to see if I needed help. Came back the next day with my husband and a salesperson came out to see if he needed any help. Guess they only help men.

My husband, David, and I recently purchased a Cub Cadet from Allpower. We were very pleased with the service and price. Randy is an excellent salesman. Very knowledgeable, helpful but not intrusive. We really appreciated that. Once we left a car dealership and purchased a vehicle at another location because the salesman kept telling us what we should purchase instead of listening to what we wanted. Also Brad was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had previously had work done on our Kubota and was very pleased with the service department and staff. Will certainly be return customers for Allpower.

I stopped into AllPower to get a recommendation on a mower and the sales staff were fantastic to deal with. They explained the pros and the cons of the machines I was looking at offering options to fit my budget. They treated me fairly and as a woman making a purchase of a nice size mower they made me feel comfortable in my decision making and answered all of my questions with honesty. The mower was delivered the next day and the deliveryman went over the mower in great detail making sure I understood how to operate safely. He even waited in the drizzle while I started it up and mowed a bit to make sure I was comfortable before he left. I would recommend AllPower Athens to anyone for their lawn maintenance needs.

Desperately UnhappyI was told verbally that they would do all the maintenance things for my John Deere L110 and charge me about $185. The bill ended up being $325 and change.They didnt do all the things.After a couple weeks the mechanism that engages the mower-blade belt froze up, and I found that the pivot points had not been lubed and no grease had been applied to the grease zerks for the blade bearings - I had to dig crusted grass off to even *find* the grease zerks.They also didnt grease the wheel bearings. The fuel filter looked to have been replaced, as was the spark plug. The air filter looked to have been blown off and replaced - the filter material was uniformly gray inside and out.They replaced the mower drive belt and did an oil change for which I provided the oil.They repaired the low-air front tire by adding fix-a-flat stuff to it.Lubing the pivot points is Maintenance Procedure 101.I leave it to the reader to decide if the above sounds like it is worth $325 and change.They failed to do a full maintenance on my machine.I dont at this point know where to send you, but please dont go here.Edit: Response to OwnerDude, I called that number twice, got nothin.I was called by one of your people. I asked for my money back and he said It doesnt work like that. He also said hed personally enspected the mower and the blades had been sharpened. Then he talked me into having service come out and grab my mower and try again.The guy that came out admitted that he saw no evidence of lube being done even tho the service person whod pretended to work on my mower had indicated hed lubed it. I had him touch the blade easily reached from the side of the mower deck and asked it that felt like it had been sharpened - his response: nope. He found a nail in one tire that your previous people has missed and he promised to fix that at no charge. I let him take the mower, but you should be able to understand how uncomfortable I am with this.I will report back once my mower is returned. Maybe itll actually cut grass rather than bludgeoning it.Edit: So they did the things and returned my machine. They plugged the tire and left the tails of the plug hanging out to snag on anything in the yard. They lubed the machine in all the places and failed to clean up the lube that ran out of the joints. They actually balanced the tire pressure. They actually sharpened the blades.All this after I spend an hour telling the friendly helpful fellow how they should have done all this in the first place and pointed out the service list posted under the seat of the mower.I then got multiple follow-up calls, two of which argued with me and told me that telling me they lubed and sharpened but not doing so wasnt lying to me.I still feel ripped off. I still feel I should have gotten a refund.The employee that lied to me was apparently reprimanded and not fired.tldr: I dropped my mower off and they went almost two times the estimate and failed to actually do the service. They they did it, but sloppily, only after I had to tell them in detail how to do their work.Done now.

This is the worst dealership I could conceive of. I have purchased multiple pieces of equipment over the last 15-20 years from them. They refused to help me with my warranty on my Ferris 3200z that I did not buy from them even after I called Ferris USA and the rep told them they must as it is a certified warrantied machine. I also happen to own another 3200z that is still under warranty that so did buy from them. They have the WORST SERVICE DEPT AND POLICY IMAGINABLE. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They do not value your patronage and they do not want to help you. Ohio River Power Equipment is only 25 miles away and they are much more honorable than this business!

Cant begin to tell you how happy i was after talking to Gill about an issue i had with my cub cadet. somehow after jump starting my tractor it developed a problem that i assumed would cost me a bundle to repair. I had already decided that i would need to have it sent over to the dealership to survey the damage and repair it. After talking with Gill he went back to the repair area while I was on the phone to run the scenario by a technician. I was given the suggestion of checking a fuse under my seat, and sure enough i bought fuses at autozone, took out the one that had blown and in 10 minutes I was mowing grass. just a great place to do business.

Service department lack of responsibility or ownership or the work they do. Dropped mower off last year to get new drive belt installed and other maintenance completed instead waiting till spring rush. Drive belt kept falling off. Plus muffler rusted out. Start to use this year and drive belt still falling off plus part of the muffler just spent 300 on failed at weld.Took back this (30 miles each way) spring since drive belt kept coming off when started using. Was told they replaced the deck belt last spring but not the drive belt and the drive belt has chunks taken out and is slipping. Well yes this is why brought in last fall to fix.Was charged 1 hour labor 79 and cost of belt. Yes belt bad so should have been paid for and replaced last fall. I have no issue paying for belt. The labor should not be charged since I already paid for the labor last fall when they were to put on new drive belt we brought in for but replaced deck belt instead. Kevin manager could care less they did not fix appropriately last fall and offered nothing no apology or concern, just we can fix it now and will cost 134.00. I should not have to pay twice for labor, they did not fix problem was brought in for last year even after I paid labor to tear down.Second, I asked about warranty for muffler, he said not convered and did not offer to check or even verify or not. Just blew me off.I went to pick up and I asked the parts department about warranty on muffler. They called cub cadet and with in few hours called me back saying they have a new part coming and is covered. Thank you parts department Tim! Kudos to you and providing customer support.Kevin, Tim took time to follow up. Kevin was to lazy to accomplish anything and lied just so did not have to put little extra effort in.At end of day Service department has yet to say anything just walking around with blank stare. I am out 80 in labor and 2 hours in travel plus gas for the lack of effort provided by service department.Because of parts department I have a new part coming.Next, where am I going to go to get installed. Not All Power will find someone else.

Contacted a Kubota dealer to buy a BX1880 with front loader after a week no Kubota. I wasnt in the market for a Cub Cadet, I was actually looking for something less expensive that would just get the grass cut without much trouble. I went to a couple of places in Athens first. The first place I went, there were three salespeople helping a couple who had just purchased the same mower I was interested in. I was sitting on the tractor testing the pedals (not really satisfactory) when all three salespeople went back inside the store! So I went to the second place. Not much selection, two tractors, one cheap, one too expensive, and again no sales assistance.I had looked at Allpowers website the night before and saw that they had two used mowers for sale. Not being a mechanic, and even less familiar with mower workings than I am with car workings, I decided (with a great deal of trepidation and even more skepticism) to just have a look. Out of the car at Allpower, I sat on one of the new Cub Cadets they had out front. Very nice! But way more than I wanted to spend. So I dismounted and walked around the right side of the building, looking for the used tractors. Not there. I had just started around the left side of the building when I heard Hi there! May I help you? Well lawdy be! A customer service person in the flesh! I told him what I was looking for, but he only had one left and suggested I come into the showroom. It was hot outside, and I thought what could it hurt?Inside, nice and cool, the gentleman introduced me to a small Cub Cadet. He patiently answered my many questions. He knew his product. And when I showed him pictures of my lawn, he suggested a larger mower. $300 larger! After spending more time with me showing that mower, he explained that they had a zero percent financing plan with monthly payments. They also do dealer prep and offer free delivery. I was 99 and 44/100% sold, but told him Id let him know. I came home, read the reviews - this mower rated 4.9 out of 5 - and called him back and said sign me up!And that, my friends, is what good customer service will accomplish! That gentlemans name is Bob Drake. I was in today to finish up my purchase. All the folks there are very nice, courteous, and helpful.My new Cub Cadet LX 42 will be here tomorrow. I am pleased!I highly recommend Allpower Equipment. You cant beat em.

Ordered part on June 21st told it would be in on June 27th. No part no call called back told part did not come in would be in July 3rd called back no part. they finally called and left a message that part would be in August 1. If I wanted to order off someone else it would cost an extra $20 I called back to tell them to stay with the other part and to make me an appointment for August 4th to put part on. Was told that I would have to wait til part came in to make appointment. I told him to credit my card back and would go else where. Also purchased belt from allpower used 1 hour and belt broke when I called to tell them they stated I could bring the belt back but would not get replacement. Belt cost $70. I guess I should have stayed with Sears tractors did not have as much trouble and when I did I could get fixed in Logan. No more Cub Cadets for me.

Boughr a tiller belt gave mod & ser# to the lancaster store from land od theves Lancaster.Belt for same mod was for front & rear motion troybilt,,I told them mine was forward only,,this is the belt they would work put belt on,,tiller went in motion shredded belt,,Allpower said u bought it sir.In the land of theves Lancaster this is how u get ROBBED,,stay as far away frome thease theves as u can,,Imagine if this was a mower,,in LAND OF THEVES

I got a $800 bill to install a coil and adjust a belt on my John Deere 316. They didnt even bother to put a new belt on. Took about 5 weeks, terrible customer service tool boot. they are locally known as thieves, I learned the hard way.
