THE LATEST BAD EXPERIENCE HERE WAS I SPENT CLOSE TO $150.00 ON A TEMPORARY NEW AIR BED AND LESS THAN 30 DAYS LATER A HUGE AIR BUBBLE APPEARED LIKE A BUSTED BELT ON A CAR TIRE.THE STORE MANAGER CALLED ME AND OFFERED 50 DOLLARS GIFT CARD OFF IF I BOUGHT A NEW FULL BED THERE! I INFORMED HIM TO JUST TAKE THOSE OTHER AIR MATTRESSES OFF THE SHELF SO NO OTHER UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS WILL LOSE OUT, THE WAY I DID. I SHOOK MY HEAD IN DISGUST AND DECLINED TO ACCEPT THE 50 DOLLAR GIFT CARD TOWARD THE PRICE OF A NEW BED, BOXSPRING, FRAME AND HEADBOARD! 😞😞😞PHOTO OF AIRBED COMING UP!!

The staff was helpful and friendly! I found what needed easily. It is clean! I dont have to check myself out. The manager works as hard as his employees. I have see him help stock shelves and look in back for stick for customers

If you plan to go here before 10:00 AM...DONT. Youll be waiting in the checkout line for nearly 30 minutes. Each time Ive gone to this Walmart, they have had only one checkout lane open, and neither of the self-checkout sections are available. So frustrating when youre trying to run in and grab a few quick items, and then cant check out in a timely manner. Why on earth do they not open the self checkouts?! Terrible customer service.

Probably the first time this year I didnt have to wait 20 minutes to have a cashier ring me out. I refuse to use scan and go. Other than that, its a Walmart. Nuff said.

First time ordering groceries online to be picked up. Love this convenience so much as its getting harder and harder for me to do much walking on those concrete floors.Things went so smoothly, although there was about a 15 minute wait - a lot of people take advantage of this service. Brian brought my order to me. He was very friendly, quickly explained things since this was new to me. Placed my items in the back of my car with care, wished me a good day and I was on my way. Thank you Brian, I appreciate your attention to detail, I love that you seem to enjoy what you do, a kind attitude is a day-brightener for everyone! I will definitely use this service again even if it does mean 90 minute drive. Sure wish my local store would incorporate this service...!

These donuts rang up at 2.98 I had to have the clerk change the price. Tired of them marking prices on the isle then at check out its a higher price. I calculate the total so I know when I get up there to check out. I know what it is. I still have $3.00 I havent found yet. I will be writing prices on all my items cuz Im sick of this its not a lot of money, its the principal. but hell no Im not going to allow them to rip me off. Also contacting corporate sure It wont make a difference but still doing it. This is BS....😠

Winded up buying 2 fruit trays Friday for our gender reveal Sunday. When Sunday came the apples in the fruit tray had mold on them. They should not go bad within 2 days. As well as every time we go in their there usually is only 1 register opened with long lines. Very disappointed with the service that they provide.

I called twice to see if they carry a certain machine and was on hold 10 minutes each time and nobody picked up in that department. And Im tired of mainly having to do self checkout all the time. They need to have more checkout lanes open.

Automotive is a nightmare. I set up an appointment online to get tires put on and they refused to honor the appointment that was set a week out. This normally wouldn’t be a big deal but I called an hour before to insure that this appointment is still valid, during the call I was told that yes they have my tires and would be able to put them on. After, showing up they refused to put the tires on and then only gave me the option to put the tire in the back of my car. I had to find someone else to put my tires on. After loading up three tires in my vehicle, they stated that they could not find the forth tire. This ended up being a hour of wasted time and I had to get a refund

Atchison walmart is the worst! Shelves are not full, out of items that should always be stocked. Never enough cashiers, today the self checkout wasnt accepting cash. And the only three service lanes that were open, were completely backed up. Walmart needs some competition in this town. Maybe a Dillons or Aldis. It would probably put Walmart out of business. I try to shop anywhere else that I can.

The people where helpful. except one associate. She said Im on my break and come to find out she was standing right next to the item we were looking for. I dont get paid for helping people when Im on my break.

Typical Walmart. Why cobblestone style flooring at entrances? Not the best when pushing a shopping cart! Stuff is always being moved around and often times in groceries the staff can have a hard time locating things. But ots what we have and I always find what I need, eventually

Good customer service. I did Curbside Pick Up . I love it because you get to save time and money. The only complaint I have is the freah fruit and veggies are sometimes not in a good quality. It is winter time but I wish they were better quality. Thank you to the hard working team members for sure. It was -12 and she did awesome 🎉🙏

Store always seems to be under stocked. Employees told me 8 times to have a great day. Maybe walmart should vary the script and try a couple of different phrases.

Prefer the one on Wanamaker. Never have enough checkers and self checkout is credit card only. Its honestly the worst Walmart Ive ever been to. The management here is trash and should be replaced.

Placed a pickup order. Processed early. Associate was friendly and professional. Some items were out of stock. Substitutions were made and a few items refunded. Thank you for the excellent service!

The store needs to open registers. Really sad. Speed them up. All but one or two of the self registers were open. People in at least 10 lines, 3+ deep.

This Walmart is absolutely terrible. The employees are some of the rudest people Ive met in my life. If you cant work customer service then maybe this isnt the job for you. Their prices are never correct either when I ring things up. Three times Ive bought items listed as one price but then they ring up as sometime completely different. When brought to their attention they dont seem to care. This small town needs another alternative than this Walmart. Or at least friendlier staff.

Customer service absolutely is unacceptable. I waited in line for 45 minutes to get checked out because they claim they were short handed. If there was another store closer I would never go to this Walmart or any Walmart ever again.

This store is clean, pretty well kept and like any Wal-Mart it has a few less desirable employees...This store has some descent sales off and on... Their curbside is quick but, they do need some help picking better fruits and veggies...

Its a Walmart super center - nicely kept and well stocked.

No checkers were open only self checkout so I left it there.

Really tired of North Belt Walmart not have things on the shelves. Rumor has it the manager trying to save money. Since the remodel and new management it sucks. South belt and Atchison Ks are very well stocked after their remodels.😡😡

Walmarts arent all the same. Atchisons store is clean and the parking lot is good sized. Its not over crowded with people and long lines like South Belt St. Joe. The isles are spacious for the most part. Its up to date, and I love the music outside.The clothing is not really stylish. Its very basic. They need to take a lesson from St. Joe in that dept. Certain things are always out of stock. But at the same time there is always people stocking while youre shopping, or big crates of product blocking the isles.But all in all its pretty good. Just a normal shopping trip to Walmart. 😉

Seriously gone down hill lately! Selection terrible. Cluttered. Management both rude and unhelpful. We have successfully turned into the dollar store of Walmarts that for some unknown reason piles all of their inventory on the floor, on pallats that are always right in the way. Why items are there and not on shelf or in back room is beyond me. If you have so much inventory you cannot fit it all in back and have to pile it on the floor in everyones way I think it time to shut down for a few days to re organize and re stock. Embarrassing

A little background to qualify my review, I lived in OKC, OK for 30 years before moving to St. Joe at the beginning of 2020. Now, I have finally made my way home to Atchison and this Walmart is a great example of why I wanted to come home. The employees are friendly, they go out of their way to say hello and can I help you. I see complaints about the aisles being full because of a lack of help due to cut backs. Friends, go to a Walmart in St. Joseph and come back and tell me your problems here...you wont have any. Go to one in a big city...youll be in love with the Walmart in Atchison. Im yet to meet a perfect retailer, but this in my humble opinion is about as close as youre going to get. Add to it that the citizens of Atchison itself are friendly and instead of ignoring or shunning others, people mask smile and say hello. Oh Im so happy to be home and that this is my new Walmart!!!

Rude female employee at the self check out lane and their prices are never correct when you ring up items. Fix the price tags! Drive the extra miles to Leavenworth or St Joe, this Walmart is a joke.

Their customer service is almost non-existent! The store most people depend on the most its no longer what it used to be.

He told me that hed take me there to help find what I was looking for. Wish I wouldve paid attention to his name tag. Im so thankful for people like him.

Quite possibly the crown jewel of Atchison Kansas. The staff is super nice and the store is usually very well stocked and clean. Not open 24 hours anymore though which I miss.

The worst walmart EVER! There was 0 cashiers, All of the isles were filled with boxes, the bathrooms were closed off, and 0 members walking around. Worst experience ever.

Store was dirty upon entry but they were trying to clean it. Just bad first impression.

Its not as clean as it could be. The staff dont seem to want to be bothered with customers. A lot of the grocery section is bare shelves,and freezer sections. I go to South Belt now. And for food Price Choppers.

This store is only a couple of blocks away from my house so I go there often.

This is an interesting setup for a WalMart. Only one actual cashier. They heavily rely on scan and go type check outs. The belts scanners were shut down during this vist and the other scanners were limited to a few due to maintenance and cleaning.

Quickly helped in Pharmacy and at the Electronics counter.

Workers didnt know were items were located. I dont shop that often and needed help finding a item.

Very rude employees, shelves empty, hate the place.

My biggest problem with this store is, theyre stocking while you are trying to shop. If youre going to close the store at night why dont you stock the shelves while you are closed. So that we dont have to fight to get around the stocker especially those who use the scooter.
