Very nice selection of locally-roasted single origin coffees, but the real treat is the spectacular selection of teas. If youre looking for a special or different tea, this is the spot.Also worth noting that they have a self-service machine up front that you can use to get either a half pound or a pound of various coffees - ground or whole bean - even when the shop is closed.To top it all off, theyre really nice folks. Always a treat to work with!

Fantastic coffee. Where I buy nearly all of the coffee for my household. My favorite is extra dark Paupa New Guinea. All coffee sold is free trade.

Dark/French roasts to die for. I recently ordered a couple of mugs and two 8oz bags of single origin roasts. Very dark and perfect for espresso, bursting with flavor. While I typically enjoy medium and light roasts, I’ve been trying to sample different local roasters during the COVID times...well worth branching out for!

We live local and have tried all the roasters from lower Washington down to Wheeler and by far we love this boutique owner operator shop for its quality of beans and service. The bean selection is very good and staff knowledgeable when you state your preferences. Highly recommend Astoria roasters. We always take our visitors here for their coffee beans! They have good teas as well. I especially like the mint.

Visiting from Baltimore, Maryland. We drove from Lincoln City to Astoria to visit, you guessed it, the Goonies house. Along our travels we found this treasure. Nick aloud me too totally geek out and be part of movie history. He was so nice and accommodating. Oh yeah, and the coffee was really good.

The best coffee in Oregon. We order it regularly, and it shows up in no time, fresh and aromatic and just waiting to be brewed. We have made the trek to Astoria just to hit up Astoria Coffee Company. It’s worth the trip!

Never seen ground coffee in a vending machine. The store owners were great too, really made you feel welcomed to Astoria.

In town for the Goonies sites and stopped in. Had a sandwich that was excellent with great flavor and fresh vegetables. The staff was friendly and quick.

The food was terrible! The people were friendly though. So I feel bad leaving a poor rating, but the roast beef sandwich was so tough and we couldnt eat it!

Decided to stop by when it caught our eye driving past. Lots of choice for coffee beans, tea leaves, and souvenirs here. Purchased the best chocolate coated coffee beans Ive ever had.

Nice little coffee/tea/grocery in a fun, old building. Owner takes care of customers and everything else. When I went in lots of locals were buying beans which are roasted on site.I had a spiced mocha that was really good (and surprisingly cheap). I would suggest they raise their prices because the same size (not even as good) at pretty much everywhere else Ive been in the NW is at least $6.Also had their coffee at a place in downtown and it was very nice. Smooth, rich flavor.Lots of teas and a small deli case with gourmet groceries. Im guessing the Safeway opening across the street wasnt very helpful for them.Small trivia: the main house in the Goonies is about 200away up the hill (they actually have a Goonies blend of coffee) and the building was in a deleted scene in the movie. Sadly Goonies fans have really irritated the owners and neighbors by the house as there are several no Goonies signs nearby. Respect their privacy and enjoy the view (and your coffee) across the street by the ocean.

This is a great place. Some of the coffees are organic. He brings them out for me to smell. There are a variety of teas and soups. I am looking forward to trying. Healthy cold drinks and fresh eggs.Very friendly plce. Ah and gave me coffee bean material from roasting I use in my garden.

This was a great little find on our way back North from Hwy 101 ( this isnt on 101). The espresso was excellent and I was excited to find oat milk as an option. The shop had an assortment of herbs, incense, high quality teas and a quirky selection of Goonies merch. The gentleman was very friendly. Will definitely return when we head back south.

Best place in town to get coffee and tea. After trying all the coffee places this is the one we use for our home daily brew. We like tea and found the best selection here. He knows his tea. Being a former tea shop owner I found this place is best for me. I am working down his printed list of teas trying all of them. They also sell some homemade food items, have a stocked fridge, and some items related to tea and coffee. Local regulars shop here. Great place to fill a picnic basket.

We LOVE this place! Great items from local suppliers. YUMMY hot chocolate. Excellent tea, and Im sure fantastic coffee (its just that I dont drink coffee, so I cant attest to that personally, only what Ive heard from others). What I can tell you, is that today I had the most amazing breakfast Ive ever had, anywhere in the world. Their newly introduced: New Mexico Hatch Green Chili Breakfast Bowl. I cant even begin to describe how absolutely PERFECT it is. I talked two other people into trying it, after they heard me going on and on about it. After two bites, they sounded exactly like me. Trust me, youre going to love this!!

My wife and I walked in and the smell of coffee just blew me away. Met the owner Rick and started talking about different coffee. Before I left I bought a pound of the Dark roast thats out of this world. Been coming back ever since.

Great coffee starts with great beans and they have em. Run... dont walk for the best cup of coffee this side of the Columbia River. Need a fresh grind by the pound? You can get it here still warm from the roaster. Fresh cup made every time you walk in even close to closing. What a friendly endearing place to make your first stop of the morning or last stop on way home from work. Cant go wrong with Astoria Organic coffee.

Rick takes good coffee very seriously and his dedication to his craft as a roaster is unparalleled in my experience. Its kind of an awkward little store, which many of my favorite places seem to be, but the limited parking and tight spaces are easily outweighed by the quality of the products that you will find there.

I visited here yesterday with my wife and little daughter. Great place, lots of good atmosphere. We picked up some of the their cofee cups...nice design and feel in your hands. The man behind the counter was great...gave us directions to the Astoria Tower. We also got some ground cofee that smells wonderful...looking forward to trying it out.

This place is usually ok. I like their selection, and their books and memorabilia, but their service isnt the friendliest. Ive left because no one came out to help me. I just discovered that they dont open til 9am?! For a coffee shop? I had just dropped my daughter at school. I went to Coffee Girl. (Great spot, btw.) I hope this place doesnt go out of business! They could step it up...

This place is fabulous and heres why: super-friendly staff, great coffee beans make an excellent latte, the breakfast burrito is out of this world good (made from scratch, so it takes a few ministers but sooooooo worth the wait). This is my go-to place for latte/breakfast burrito. They also have sandwiches, salads, and baked goods.

I wouldnt recommend this place. I got hot chai and there was no flavor at all, it didnt even taste milky, just watery nothing. My husband says his latte tasted very weak. If youre around here and want coffee or tea, Id recommend Coffee Girl or the Astoria Coffeehouse and Bistro - theyre both always excellent.

This place is amazing; I appreciate local venders rather than big corporations like Starbucks, their coffee is the best. I wish I could order it online thats how good it is. Some people are suggesting that the people running this establishment are rude, they have never been rude to me and I started shopping there a few years ago before I moved.Their Tea is the best you will ever drink, they only accept cash but you can go down the road to Safeway they have an ATM.I love this place and if they had a website I would still be buying their coffee. They are the sweetest, nicest and intelligent coffee people I have ever met.

Didnt get to sample the coffee as we were driven out of the establishment by the rude staff. Was unfortunate as we actually turned around to go in because it looked like a place that would have good coffee. The man was unfriendly, uncommunicative and outright rude to our entire party. We took our money elsewhere and wont go back.
