It is so awesome to watch the the tree crew work! On top of that they sell mulch, topsoil, compost, and stone material! our outdoor home projects were made easier with the ability to get it all at one location.

These guys are terrific. They cut down two very dead trees where the wiring to the house stood between them, septic on the left, when facing the house and the most important, the daffodils! The daffodils surround the trees and they didnt even knock them down, all survived. Brobst employees did an excellent job., they kept the wood pretty much in two areas and not scattered all over the lawn. Cant wait to get the rest of my trees down and yes I will be using them again and highly recommend Brobst Tree Services! Thanks for a job well done!

My neighbors had trees cut down and instead of knocking on my door to ask me to move my kids bikes and wagon that were in MY yard, but apparently in their way, they threw them in a pile further into my yard. I had left for a while and when I came back they had a truck blocking my driveway. When the man came to my car window, he asked if he was in the way and I told him yes. He then proceeded to ask me where I had to go and if I could just use the other alley enterance to my driveway. Sure, no problem, but it would be nice if I could actually get INTO my driveway. Im also pretty sure it was none of his business where I had to go when I was pulling out of MY driveway. Rather rude and unprofessional in my opinion.

What an Amazing bunch of guys that came today! So friendly, hard working! Very organized, respectful with our land and our neighbors land. Worked like a well oiled machine! We are so happy and very satisfied! This is a true honest working company! This is their second time back as we had 4 medium tree taken down about 4 or 5 years ago and they even remembered us! I highly recommend Brobst Tree Service. They might charge slightly more than their competitors but they are worth every bit. Brobst is Professional, personable, and knowledgeable. The crew works safely and clean up all sticks and debris. I decided to leave the stump so the tree was cut close to the ground. I’ve used Brobst for all my tree work whether cut downs or trims and have never been disappointed.

So I am driving from my home to a very important sale, and they are completely blocking the road unneedingly. I ask them to move not only for me but for other people to pass and they begin yelling slurs at me. This is completely rude and unprofessional. I do NOT recommend and would NEVER use their service after this.

They would be the cheapest if you do not shop around. There are other cost competitive tree services nearby that are carrying the proper insurance. Beware when you use them through the utility company to take down a tree, you will be tremendously used, the price increases by, in my case, $900. The utility does not practice competitiveness, they only use Brobst in Ashtabula county nor do they step in or monitor price gouging. According to the owner the son can do nothing wrong. Son does most of the quoting, make sure you fully understand the task and how it will be performed because he doesnt do a good job of explaining it. If you do use this company it is best that you take the day off so you are home to watch their work before, during and after. Roll the camera and/or video camera. They have some heavy trucks, understandably so, that can and do leave ruts in the lawn and damage sidewalks. I dont think contracts allow that to happen. When you call to follow up on questions, concerns and issues they refuse to return your phone calls and if they do, they are too busy to call you in a timely manner. They have their receptionist do all the dirty work. With what they charge, Im certain or at least I hope she gets paid very well for the tasks she is told to do.

They did a great job taking down a couple trees for us. Pretty quick for such a big job.

They are very professional and safe. They always arrive when they say and get the job done in a very professional and safe manner. I call them on a fairly regular basis and have never been unhappy with the job that they have done. The price is always reasonable, and they have never gone over the estimate.

I am glad to see some select people have received services from this company. A few weeks ago, we called because we had a large limb (20ft +) growing off an oak tree and resting against the roof of the garage.We also wanted the canopy of that same oak tree raised, as well as to have this company haul off a pile of old limbs and such left directly in front of the garage by the previous owners.Bradley came out and wrote up a quote for all this, and said it would be first week of November before they could do it. We would need to call into the office the week before to nail down a date.Calling into the office a week prior to November, we asked about adding some additional work. We needed two medium trees removed that were very close to the house, and another tree not removed, just branches trimmed away from gutters, etc. Emailed pictures, seemed to be no issue, and our day was set for November 5.November 5 came and went. So did November 6. No phone call from this company, no nothing. (we understand and can be flexible as some jobs ahead of us might run long or go unexpected(. But no communication. And the real oddity is that my wife called their office on the 5th to confirm we were scheduled, which we were, and to see about getting an approximate time, which, understandably she was not able to do since the crew had multiple jobs that day. Apparently ours was not one of them.And to add....when a company pulls this type of maneuver, we as the consumer then have to start over: search for another company, have them out, get the quote, schedule a day for them. So we just wasted about 4-5 weeks because we thought this place would do what they said they would do.And, we gave up a long time ago calling and chasing companies so they will take our money. Obviously Brobst has enough money that they did not need ours.

I had tree work done which involved removing 2 trees and trimming 2. I specified that I want the two trees cut back and limbs removed from the power lines. The crew did a great job removing the two trees and stacking the wood. However, the two trees that were supposed to be trimmed had about 4 branches combined cut back. I actually came home the following day and had 3 large dead branches that had fallen during a storm in my driveway. When we called the question it we were told that the quote was checked off for the trees to be trimmed but scratched off and changed to “raise canopy “ when we asked why the dead branches weren’t removed or removed from the lines (since that was the whole purpose of getting this work done) we were told it’s because we didn’t specify that we wanted it “deadwooded”. I’m not sure how an average person is supposed to be aware of the technical terms or accurately voice what they want done since they come to do the estimate when you’re not home. I’m not sure where the miscommunication was considering I provided a sketch of what I was looking to have done, which clearly stated to trim the trees...which I assumed meant trimming the tree back from the power lines and trimming the dead branches off. I still have branches directly on the lines. I’ve requested for the owner or manager to contact me and have heard nothing. While the guys who came and did the work were very courteous and professional, I would suggest asking more questions and becoming more familiar with the terminology before agreeing or scheduling work with them.

Wouldnt even come out and give a quote, understand that they may be busy but to refuse to even scheduled a time to come out to give a quote. Will be going elsewhere for tree service from now on
