No idea why workers all walking looking at phone and cross lanes and cut you off. Not to mention they block isles with their stocking carts and have to go all the way around. There is no customer service anymore and not worth going to. People matter and they don’t get that. If everyone said he’ll with them and stopped going they would care!!!!

I was so very disappointed!!I have worked retail most of my life. I have also, been a Walmart employee. I know the training that employees have to go through and test over...Customer Assistance is part of that training!!This particular day we visited, we needed assistance in the pet area for some dog food. We found an associate and asked if we could get some assistance. To our surprise, we were told, I dont work in this area. Youll have to find someone that does.From remembering my training I went through to become a Personal Shopper...it does not matter what department you regularly work in...if a customer needs assistance...YOU HELP THEM, no matter what!Inform the customer...I do not normally work that area, but I will help you to the best of my ability or I will try to find you someone that does work that area regularly. As a Walmart employee CUSTOMER SERVICE IS #1!When Mr. Walton was alive, he would come into the stores without anyones knowledge. He would do so just to check the stores customer service. He was known to fire people on the spot for giving poor customer service.But being a person who has worked retail, the stores customers are always first. You wouldnt have a store to work in without customers. Therefore, you wouldnt get a paycheck.I was so angry and disappointed with this particular store. I havent been back. I have ordered things online. I dont know if I want to go back.Everyone be cautious when you go...you just might be having to help yourself, because the employees really dont want to help you at all.

My dish soap had about 1/3 of it missing, see photo. Cant believe they did not notice that. 😢

Always empty shelves, no cashiers, always have to use self check out. Some of their employees are very nice and helpful, then you have the ones that act like theyre doing you a favor. Sure hope it improves.

I am visiting family in a nearby town, and couldnt find several items I was looking for at their Walmart, so I drove over to this store. We found what was needed to make many things on my list for upcoming event, and what I couldnt locate, I asked about. Associates were pleasant and graciously helped. Store was clean. saw more people wearing masks in the store, which is required, but makes us feel more comfortable, when applied. .

Headed through on my walk, had to pick up stuff, great experience friendly door greeter, everything well in stock, friendly cashier, sad though the register was out of big bags for larger items though, but still good to stop by and go through.

Nice shopping experience. They do have carry out if needed.

Went to the eye center to order my new glasses. Staff is friendly, helpful and understanding of what youre looking for.

Its Walmart you could always find things there at a good price.

Produce fresh lettuce vegatables over ripe. Your shoppers really need to pick fresh produce and LOOK at the expiration dates. No one wants to buy something expired or expiring in 2days. Do better Ashtabula Walmart. Im gonna go to Giant Eagle.

Nothing on shelves...no dogfood or cat food or anything else. And the rest of the store is just as bad. Nothing on the shelves.

There are never enough cashiers before noon and seem to be lots of self checkout registers. I will never self checkout. I am not on the payroll so why would I want to ring up my own stuff and bag it too!?!? Give me a break.

Its my Local go to. They just started staying open a little later which helps tremendously. Their choice of womens clothing is always FANTASTIC!!! They had the prettiest watches marked down to $3.50 yesterday!!! Nice ones!!!!!

Not sure why, but I had to wait over 45 minutes in the curbside pickup for my order. Staff was polite, but still, 45 mins is a long time.

Every Walmart I have shopped in has raised the prices by at least 25 percent Walmart only wants your money. Walmart no longer has a greeter and inside the store most of the employees are rude. I think Walmart will end up out of business like KMart.

Made a curb pickup order and it was delayed took a very long time for it to be ready and many things were “out of stock” , a case of water was listed unavailable. They often substitute items without asking for approval which I really dislike. I am very unsatisfied with the transaction and believe there needs to be changes made to this service to improve it. I reduced my previous stars for satisfaction.

Found everything I was looking for and the cashier was super fast and dry friendly.

A place I do most of my shopping. Good prices. Good Walmart rewards credit card. I wish they were open 24/7 like they used to be. I’m not sure why the strict hours still. Not sure why it was changed to begin with. Less people are always there very late or early in the morning, so not much of a risk in catching COVID. Some of the workers are very friendly. Some others are very rude, don’t seem to want to help when in need, and don’t seem to like their job very much.

The store is never stocked. Literally you find shelves completely empty. This is not due to covid this happened with this store years ago. Also they only open maybe one or two lanes and expect you to use the self-checkouts but dont even open all of them up so you wait no matter what. Youre all so paying to do their job for them. If youre going to have me to scan and bag my own groceries then I should get a discount for doing so. Especially when you have people standing there watching you do this. Heres a thought put them on registers. I only go to the store if I absolutely have to. It is senseless to go to a store that doesnt have half of what you need. Other Walmarts close by are not like this the manager should be fired

Lack of Halloween stuff this time of year was disappointing. But over all its ok.

3 out of four times I choose the order online and have them load it and its the best thing besides warm chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk! And everything else they never let me down hope this helps

Ashtabula Walmart- Went to get an oil change. Very unprofessional. Wanted tire rotation and they said that I have winter tires so they wont do it. I have all season tires! Oil change took less then 10 minutes. Oil change light came on in my car they didnt even know how to turn that off. Wondering if they even emptied old oil out of the car. Taking it to an actual mechanic to see if they even did oil change. Called and talked to manager in that department and she advised me they are in in the process of training, she didnt care. It was obvious you could hear it on her voice. Never again.

Its always fun to explore all the new items they have.

So we were just driving through Ashtabula and ran across this Walmart. Plenty of parking good location. But theres something different about this one .The people that work there were really friendly and helpful especially in electronics .Ive experienced unhelpful service insome Cleveland Walmarts and they seemed Im a little below average. This place was really friendly people were willing to stop and help and they were friendly and they actually saved me money which was one of the things that Walmart was known for back in the day.

Shelves are not stocked well. They recently started using more cashiers, which I appreciate.

Ill be honest, since the inception of self checkout: I havent been impressed with walmarts customer service.The pandemic has only made this issue worse. Any excuse to employ a skeleton crew whos so overloaded they hardly look you in the eye, as theyve no time to provide a positive experience. Theyre too busy doing triple the workload, so Wallys new owners can maintain their profit margin. Now that theyre decreasing their firearm selection: I hardly have need of them anymore.I only go when its unavoidable.

Out of stock of many of the items I came looking for, so I went on line to shop to find they were also out of stock as well and directed me to drive 1hour to pick my items up making it a 2 hour round trip ! Totally unacceptable!!I called Customer Service to be told they are adjusting their Stocking System and it will be a minimum of atleast 3 weeks but no promises! Are you kidding me! What about the STUPID 2 lines that are ENDLESS for Check ✔ Out with a REAL Cashier....GET IT TOGETHER WALMART...Online shopping with OTHER Stores ARE available...I did it ! Your Loss!!

Wayyyyyyyyy too crowded and Ive never been in any Walmart in or out of state where the employees are flipping very rude .. big time rude . I didnt even ask for help and I was bothering her! Terrible customer service. Needed something that is now all of sudden locked up. Press button for service after 15 minutes Noone shows up. While waiting also tried to call the store and have someone come open the cabinet, get hung up on, call back ask for manager, transfered to manager, and then they hang up on me. Of course it will be blamed on the pandemic and how noone wants to work.

Never has things in stock. Sometimes some of the workers dont speak English. Other workers are rude. If I had somewhere else to shop in Ashtabula, I wouldnt waste my time at this store. I have never been to any other Walmart that is run like this one.

Its ok.. definitely wish prices were better like most stores. As for me personally I can never find a bra in my size there they dont carry much for sizes. And that goes to all close in general. Its just one of those stores that will always be a hit or miss

This walmart needs better employee that are trained correctly. When in today 3/19/21. For a oil change. Biggest mistake ever. Had to repeat myself 3 different times. And they still didnt get it right.

The store was well stocked and clean. It was a bit crowded which is fine with me, but the store layout is complicated. Felt like all the options were here but the store didnt have enough room for every option.The buffet doesnt have a big selection, but the god was surprisingly good.
