Tom is a excellent , proffessional auto mechanic...I have been going to him for over 5 yrs...very trustworthy..I recommend him ..not too many auto mechanics in the county with his experience...😁

Have not gotten my vehicle back yet or a phone call on the diagnostics but they have been the quickest and most polite to get a hold of and I will be updating my review after they are done looking at my transmission they run diagnostics today and said depending on the issue that they may be able to fix it as early as next week!

Beware! Do not go here, my dad had his boat repaired there last year... he took months to get the boat fixed. When my dad picked up that boat, there was no oil pressure reading on the gauge nor did the temp gauge work, mind you both were working when we took it to him. My dad made his concerns known, but was told it’s not an issue, the motor will run like that for a good while no problems. Being late in the season, we were only able to take the boat out a few times before the end of the season. Fast forward to this spring, only took the boat out TWICE before the motor started making a knocking sound. Took it back to tom in hopes he could take a look at it. The boat sat for most of the summer and was never touched so we had another guy look at it. The motor was not getting oil pressure at all and the soft plugs were not put in when Tom reassemble the motor which was the cause of the motor burning up. Tom offers terrible customer service and has not offered to make this right. He seamed relived when we came and took it from his shop. I would never recommend this shop!

Worst work ever. Three different quotes and guess what one they went with. Cost 200 over original quote and the same work was being performed. Had to bring back 20 min later cuz of brake issues and thats the work that they was supposed to be done. I wouldnt bring a lawn mower to them to TRY and fix. Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!

I would not recommend this business or tom to no one I was set there from another auto shop told him to verify that was the problem called me Monday said yes that was the problem told me I would have vehicle back Tuesday mid day well 3 30 rolled around still had not heard nothing from tom so I called he told me problem was fixed but they had order a part and was going be 100 dollars more then what I was quoted never called to get my authorization for one then wasnt even going call to tell me he had order part and that I wouldnt get my vehicle back till weds so then weds when we went to get it I said something questioning him and then he tells my husband and me he come right out and lied to us he never fixed what he said was the problem cause it never needed fixed to begin with then told us what he did or he says he did and charged us almost 100 more then he quoted us which we got ripped off big time cause we had our regular guy check prices on what he supposedly did I would not recommend this business or tom to o one unless you want to be ripped off by a crook I would give zero rating if I could anyone thats going t lie about what they did shouldnt be in business

My vehicle overheated while driving. Had is towed to Country Auto & Marine. I couldnt have asked for better service! They looked over my vehicle right away, diagnosed it properly and provided a fair labor rate. Tom is very honest- he kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle daily. When I couldnt pick it up right away, they kept it on site without any storage fees!

Anybody that knows Tom knows he is honest, fair, and will do anything he can to always make the customer happy when they leave his shop. He goes out of his way to help the less fortunate, stays open after hours for the last walk in customer that is in need, will not rope you in with an oil change to tell you theres something wrong with your car that has to be fixed that truly is fine for a while longer. A review can do a lot to either damage or help a business. But I am old school and believe that word of mouth is still the best way to know whos truly fair and honest and in our small town people know they get what the come for at The Country!

The best mechanic shop in Ashtabula County. I guarantee if I said the make and model of my car theyd know exactly what car Im referring to. Ive gone there for years and theyve saved my butt over and over. Even though Ive gotten rid of my frankencar Ill still choose to go to them. Thank for always being there. Took my sons car in for an alignment. After the finished it. He took to the Honda dealer. Where 3 of the 4 wheels were out of aligned. He then took it back the next day. They listed parts they claimed that needed replaced to aligned the car. Took it back to the Honda dealer. They said none of these are needed to be replaced. They gave him a Small portion of his money back. Kept the rest because they had to pay their mechanics for a poor Diagnosis. Would not recommend.

Had a full wheel alignment done, took it to Nassief 20 minutes later failed wheel alignment test horribly. when I was done waiting 3 hours the inside of my car was filthy. dirt all over the center console and arm rest.
