Well worth the trip to have feet that feel better. Joe is full of foot and leg knowledge. He put me in reasonably priced shoes with some accessories. Gave me some stretching tips and ideas for pain relief at home.

Second time I have been here to be fitted with shoes. Im not a runner. Far from it. Im a plus size woman who works too much and has metal in her ankle and they are great with helping fit me with shoes that are what I need.

Fantastic buying experience. I have been trying to exercise more but my regular shoes promoted knee pain. Amy at Foot RX asked questions about my lifestyle, challenges with my feet/legs/back, observed my gait and then made her recommendations for brands and styles. She had me try on several pairs of shoes making sure that each one was a good fit and ask me what I liked or disliked about each pair. At the end, I found an amazing pair of walking/trek shoes that I think are really going to help me be more comfortable and exercise more. Highly recommend and Ill be going back for another pair soon.

Ive been going to Scott since about 4 years ago, and from my first visit, he did more for me than 20 years of visiting podiatrists! He is a keen observer and listener, and using his skills as a Pedorthist, he was able to create an orthotic for me that worked! He is wonderful to work with and I recommend him to anyone who has ever had an issue with their feet! As a hiker, I am always appreciative with the high quality selection of sneaker choices, too. As a realtor, Im on my feet all day, so what he does really creates a better day for me everyday!

This place is amazing. Amy was super passionate when helping me make a selection. She patiently and enthusiasticly suggested shoes until we found the perfect pair. The color i wanted was not in store and Amy went through the trouble of finding them online for me. She was less concerned about the sale and was more concerned that I got proper footwear. This is an excellent store! They dont just sell shoes - they sell healthy footwear that is matched to each customers unique needs. The management and sales staff are the best Ive experienced in any place of business. Many people do not know that Foot Rx Running can also order dress shoes that they normally do not stock. They have done this for me several times and I am extremely well pleased! I refuse to buy shoes anywhere else!

Foot rx is a great place to go ! I had a reconstructive surgery on my foot. 4 fractures and Joe at foot rx set me up with great inserts and a wonderful pair of shoes ...but even if u just need a good repair for your feet with no injury it has great prices and great shoes for a healthy foot ..try them out .ask for Joe he has alot of knowledge

Scott is amazing. After a tendon replacement and complete foot rebuild my surgeon suggested Scott to create my orthotics. He was kind, attentive to details, and worked extremely well with the doctor. He seemed genuinely interested in what injury and surgery I had and was cognizant of how tender my foot was as he worked with me. I returned this year (two years after surgery) to have an extra pair of orthotics made. Even with the challenge of this year’s pandemic, he and his colleagues are attentive and cordial with their customers. I took shoes for Scott to use to check for wear and was grateful he saw what I saw— all was great! Just an all around incredible experience to work with everyone at Foot Rx Running— by the way I am 73😊

I have been wanting to go in this place for so long. I‘ve heard really great things about customer service, advice and support For runners, expertise, etc. I went for the first time today. And all that I heard were understatements. This place and the people that work there ya e such a passion for it that you really feel like they are cheering for your personal goals almost more than you! They are genuinely concerned for your foot, posture, gait health. Look no further this should be your shoe place and athletic gear spot.

My bunion had gotten worse over the years but the last few weeks were life altering. I’m 73 and thought my walking and hiking days were over. I went to FootRx with low expectations but willing to try anything to avoid surgery. After a few minutes with Joe I knew I’d made a good decision. His knowledge was amazing and instead of trying to sell me shoes or inserts he gave me exercises that have worked wonders. Thanks Joe. I think of you every time I complete my 10,000 pain free steps.

Scott Socha is the best. I have a short leg and had used lifts that slide around. Scott found a solution and created an insert with a lift. Today he improved on his design. My feet and back feel so much better. The store is cool too with the Mr. Potato Head people greating you wgen you walk in.

I just bought the most comfortable & best fitting shoes. Made an appointment with Joe, who evaluated my feet and walk and helped me get shoes best for me. The price was $30 less than what I was spending on what I thought was good shoes.

Great customer service. Explained to the sales woman that my current walking shoes Hoka had my little toes going numb. I informed her that I had back surgery and needed a good shoe for everyday standing, walking and working. She brought our several selections and the New Balance seems to fit the best for me. They even have a 30 day trial period. If I do not like them within the 30 days I can exchange them for a different pair. My family has been shopping here with Scott since he opened his old location off Turtle Creek. Foot RX has very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

The owner personally worked with me, help me figure out why I’ve been having knee pain which was the result of shoes not my body, since getting the right pair of shoes have been able to run again for the first time in years, much farther much faster without any knee problems at all. Bought a pair of walking shoes, unable to wear due to my foot operation, 100% clean and look like never been on was shocked to find out they do not give a refund only a store credit. Will never need any thing from what they sell, out $160.00. Not very good customer service, should have a sign stating no refunds only store credit. When bought all I was told could return within 30days, not fair, one way to make an extra profit and make the consumer lose. Would not recommend, just a refund would have given them a 5 star.

Shout out to Foot RX in South Asheville! I was there today to buy some toe spacers for my squirrely toes and another customer was gently reminded by the owner that she needed to put her mask back on (masks are required there and are free at the door). She replied that the mask is hot and they dont do any good anyway. The owner politely and patiently told her that it is store policy so she yelled back that she is not going to spend her money in a store that tells her what to do and stormed out. I went up to the owner and thanked him for holding firm and making his business safer for his customers. He shrugged and said If I lose customers over this, it is okay. I have many elderly and vulnerable people who come here. I have to protect them. Small businesses are hanging on by a thread right now and it is so encouraging to to witness this owners courage.

I was recommended this running store by some women in my FB running group. I walked in and experienced amazing customer service. Everyone was really friendly! Joe spent a hour with me analyzing my gait and talking to me about the various running shoes and hydration options. He was extremely knowledgeable as a runner himself and very attentive. I walked out with not my normal running shoe and ran 7 miles the next day in glorious comfort....am in love with my new shoes...thanks foot RX

Cant say enough good things about these guys. They really want to get you up & running...literally! A lot of places just want to sell you something expensive & rush you out. I went in for an appointment with Scott today, to have my old orthotics evaluated. Have to say he did an excellent job and was very receptive to my issues and concerns. Ill be going back with any future foot needs. I noticed the staff were very attentive to customers. There were kids being fitted for athletic shoes as well as adults. A sweet old dog in the back as well. Overall very good vibe!

Nice shop with lots of good merchandise. While waiting for my appointment I did observe some excellent customer service from the sales staff to people purchasing new running shoes and inserts. However, this is where any positive interaction with this business ends for me. I am an RN on my feet a lot and wanting to maintain my mobility. My appointment was made and confirmed a month ago and my work schedule rearranged. I was told I received a call canceling my appointment (I had not). The owner did call me to tell me it was my fault I had not received the cancellation call as apparently he had an incorrect number? Funny he called the correct one today. Is this review written by a disappointed, upset non customer in pain ? Yes. Will I take up the owner on his offer of another appointment early in the am that I will have to miss more work to attend? No. The appointment was canceled because he could not help his own personal apt date being changed. I understand.

I cant recommend this store highly enough. Getting the right fit for shoes, and running clothes/gear is important to me, and luckily Foot RX has super knowledgeable staff, a great return policy, good selection of various brands and styles of shoes. I went in today absolutely clueless about what size I need for running shoes. I was blown away by the selection and knowledge here. I knew they would do a custom evaluation and fit and wanted to be able to take my time and really get that right. They did not disappoint! Had a great experience this afternoon at Foot RX. Took my oldest son in to work on getting a better set up shoe for his running gate and was amazed at the amount of attention and time they spent making sure he got what was best for him. He probably tried on 6 pairs of shoes both with inserts and without.... I really appreciate the time they spent with us today.

I had a very life changing experience today. I met Artemis! I had recent back surgery and after Physical Therapy thought I had it made until my therapist suggested changing my walking shoes and suggested Foot Rx. Well you can pick up a pair of sneakers just about at any WalMart or corner shoe shop.Wrong! My wife became aware of my walking and my introduction to a friend to help me walk better. That friend was a walking cane and I must admit it became cool but my gait became increasingly shorter and cool my wife wasnt having and her tone became a DEEP BASS!Lets go to that Foot Rx your therapist told you about - NOW!In comes Artemis (or should I say out I go to Artemis), and all I can say is THANKS ARTEMIS! Great experience! I havent had a pair of shoes fitted to my feet in a long time. I was in desperate need of a good fitting pair of running shoes. Robert took a look at me running on the treadmill and knew where to start. After taking the time to find something I was comfortable in and fit properly I left an incredibly satisfied customer. First of all...all I can say is thank you. After fracturing part of my foot, I was in unbearable pain. My doctor referred me to Scott for orthotics. I went and could not be more pleased. Im sure its great if you are a runner willing to spend $150 on a pair of New Balance, not so much if you just need a new pair of shoes.

This store is AMAZING! Talk about putting the customer first. They sit down with you and make sure you have the proper shoes. They also make in house orthotics to help you if you need them. Scott listens and talks you you about your issues and helps you feel at ease with the process if you need custom orthotics which can be a lengthy process. Prices for orthotics are also reasonable. If you need help with your feet run to them today!

Life-changing help for my feet! I have bunions, and my previous rigid orthotics and New Balance shoes were no longer helping with my pain. Blue Ridge Bone and Joint recommended I try something different: a consult with Scott Socha, owner of FootRX. With Scotts guidance and the helpful staff I am now in fantastically comfortable Altra shoes and CorrecToes orthotic alternatives that have my feet feeling great. I can credit FootRX to a successful 100-mile trek in the Sierra Nevadas where I not only was pain-free but also the only person out of our 4-person group not to get a blister. If you are having foot issues, FootRX may well be the solution!
