Its a mess! They have lots of stuff, check expiration dates. Prices are good. Cashier was wonderful and she knew her prices.

I can honestly say I’ve had the best experience at Dickies. They sell amazing food, at great prices and their customer service is unparalleled. Their business model should be quantified because they are greatly helping to reduce food waste, and also bring healthy options to people on a budget. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything has expired (over 1 or 2 years), and theyre still selling items. Im pretty sure this is a health violation

I have never been here before and i have to say its clean very well priced affordable will definitely be doing more shopping friendly people and helpful if you havent been here go check if it definitely worth it. I usually use my google but i had my husbands but lots of other things besides food as well really love this place. Always looking to save. Thanks

Found really great produce at half the cost of Target. More stores should follow this model to help reduce food waste.

Maybe I went to a different store than others but if this is the one by the Thai rest in Weaverville I seriously dont see how the health department allows it. Smelled HORRIBLE, dirty and over stuffed, everything I saw from dark brown ketchup with broken tops and all the canned goods/sauces were WAY beyond sell by date. Maybe its not a health hazard somehow and serves a purpose but just not gonna be for everyone I think.

It smelled so horrible we didnt even shop. I cant even imagine working there!

Some good deals, but the staff was rude and not wearing a mask as mandated by the state right now. Zero safety precautions in place. Getting sick is not worth saving a couple bucks. Ill go down the road to the other discount store where they have friendly people and care about safety.

This location is not as good as the one in Leicester as far as pricing, the cashier was friendly but not everything is priced so you have to ask.

Good resource for dented cans, over-run food items, esp.non-refridged items. They also have some restaurant size canned veggies, sauces & side items. The extreme low prices make the disheveled shelves worth sorting thru to get real bargains.

Love this place. Im almost scared to review it because I dont want anyone else to find out about this gem! Great staff, good selection of high quality foods at crazy low prices. Dickies is far superior than Hopeys on price and selection IMHO.

We can just be more organized and I prefer the prices to be on the items in the get up there and play guess what with the cashier.

Nothing was fresh everything I looked at was expired or past its prime. At one point I was looking at bacon and all of them said use by 2015. And it wasnt just meats remember going down one aisle and seeing buffalo wings sauce that was so old it had completely separated. I dont see how this place is legally open the only plus was that everyone that worked there was nice.

Make sure to check the date most stuff expired in 2018....

Prices are good but selection is spotty at best. And to be honest customer service sucks. I am a smoker and i wouldnt make a customer wati to be rung up while i finished my smoke then smugly told We dont accept american express

90% of what I bought from here was unusable. Bought my husband some coffee shooters and they were absolutely rotten. Other stuff i bought i didnt see until I got home that the bag of certain items I got were tore open. People here need to realize that food items or drink items do have a shelf life. If I choose to go back Ill definitely be more attentive to dates. I think dickies needs to be more attentive to what they are trying to sell people as well. A little past expiration isnt bad but alot of the items I got were many many years past date. Things dont last forever.

Love going there to get food on a small budget. Not the prettiest place but they have a lot of good food for cheap. Check the expiration dates!

Some cheap stuff in there. Good choice for things that dont need to be fresh, like household cleaners, paper goods, dry dog food, etc. Watch the expiration dates on everything else.

All food is expired or close to it, but most is still useable. Prices on many items are really good, while others such as canned vegetables can be found at Walmart for the Walmart brand. If you do buy something that is bad, they will refund with receipts

Decent prices on organic stuff. Butthe building is dingy and poorly organized. Some items had prices marked on them others didnt. Made it hard for a forst time shopper

Mixed bag. Almost everything is well-past the sell by date but if youre willing to spend time looking through a lot of poor-to-mediocre foodstuffs, there are definite bargains & treats to be had.

You have to look pretty closely at the expiration dates but I always find great food thats not expired for a great price.

AMAZING DEALS....40lbs of chicken breast keg quarters for $30, spring mix for $1, Kashi cereal for $1.49... the list goes on and on.

Lots of gluten free and organic foods offered. You have to watch the expiration dates, some items out doesnt really matter but with others(like chips)it does. Yippy never know whats going to be in there...its a fun scavenger hunt and I always score something great. Plus...the employees are friendly and downto earth..you cant beat that!

If you are on a tight food budget, or are setting up a kitchen from scratch, Dickies is the right place to start. They are like the TJ Maxx of food with bargain items coming in when weekly trucks arrive. Aisles morph from week to week as items come in and are sold. Many things are unusual like a 2 pound tub of Boursin for $3, or yogurt for $1/quart, or 5 pounds of silvered almonds for $5. And they have aisles of food service sized packages and cans.

Good prices but 95% of food is out of date, so pay close attention. Got stuff that was awful like sprinkle Carmel for popcorn and it was awful . I told them and they didnt offer refund or credit.

Snack food was stale.

All they have are opened packages of food basically. A dump. They have a restaurant in the back but they probably just serve dented cans and opened bags of pasta from the shelf. Yuck. And dirty. And just carriages filled with misc old food to go thru.

Grate place every visit is an adventure grate store

I am really disappointed about my visit. I was dry one hour to visit that shopping and it was close!!! Its says them open until 6.30pm and when I get here it was only 5.34pm and was wondering close!!!!

I never know what kind of screaming deal I might find in Dickies but its always worth stopping in. Staff has been helpful and fair and I will always come back.

Sometimes you can find some deals but most of the time it smells like a rotten meat locker.
