To be fair, this review is for this location specifically as well as another one on Weaver Blvd. My spouse and I each had appointments to get the vaccine booster today, and they cancelled the appointment within less than an hour of the appointment time. This is the second time something like this has happened, the other time being a COVID test we each had scheduled at the location on Weaver Blvd. We are trying to be responsible and safe members of society because our jobs are in the health/service industry. Not only is cancelling these appointments as t the last second completely unprofessional, but it is also dangerous. We had a hard time finding a time and location to get our test, and after our appointment was cancelled we couldnt find another testing site for another few days at which point we would have exposed others if we were positive. I have never had a worse pharmaceutical experience. CVS, do better.

CAMILLE WAS AWESOME!!!!! I needed a last minute passport baby photo for my newborn and Camille was so gracious in attitude and patience with taking photos, not to mention made time for us pronto. I will defiantly recommending this CVS for photo needs!

We had a great experience at this CVS. Our young son was terrified of getting a flu shot. The nurse and pharmacy staff went way out of their way to make him feel comfortable and even came over and districted him during the shot. Afterwards he was perfectly fine and said he won’t be afraid next time he needs a shot. Talk about a positive outcome! Thank you all 🥰

Not sure if CVS has recently changed their policy or not, but I think the pharmacist profiled me because I have tattoos and colored hair which I find extremely rude and unprofessional. I came to this location to purchase some Robitussin for my partner who has a nasty cold right now, and after asking the pharmacist about the store’s availability, she gave me a quick glance over, made an inappropriate face, and stated “you need a prescription”. I am almost positive this is not true as Walgreens had no problem assisting me without one. I understand the necessity of keeping this medicine OTC only because of potential abuse, but I am a grown 28 year old woman and not some shady kid looking to get high. I won’t be coming back to this location again, that’s for sure.

The store manager, Camille is very helpful and super nice. She went above & beyond to solve an issue I had with an on-line photo order. This CVS definitely has my biz! Thanks again Camille.

Please be advised of the false advertising about a walk in clinic it is technically a login on line program and the person on staff today I really hope she enjoyed her lunch since thats all she was concerned about but please dont think you will be seen if you walk in that will not happen.

I just called and spoke with a gentleman in the pharmacy about accepting payment over the phone. My daughter is away at school and I have a flex spending card and wanted to pay over the phone. He said they cant take any payments over the phone which is understandable but he didnt have to be a jerk about it. Good customer service is very important these days. Use it! Im gonna find a local pharmacy in Asheville that she can support.

Since COVID19 This CVS requires a mask. There is hardly EVER a cashier there now that they ask you to use self checkout. So if your buying beer. Your standing there for long waits. Not worth it.

I have never had bad experiences with customer service at this pharmacy. The staff is neither overly kind nor are they rude. They just do their jobs. I am always able to pick up my prescriptions the day I call or the day after and have never had issues with my order.

They have always been helpful and kind. They help me find something when needed. As far as prescriptions, they have them promptly. If I do have to wait I can step outside or use the public restroom. They are very accommodating.

Today was my first experience with the minute clinic & it couldnt have been bettereally. The NP was quick, thorough & kind. They had my antibiotics ready 2 minutes after I walked into the pharmacy waiting area.

The person I saw here was AMAZING and really the reason Im writing this review. Alicia Eifler. First off, she introduced herself to me by first name and was totally laid back about all of the doctor questions she had to ask me. She trusted my answers, something I normally dont get from doctors, and believed what I said was correct, agreeing with the fact that I probably had strep as I just started at a new school. Not only that, she had friendly conversation with me and made the entire thing less uncomfortable and more like two humans having an interaction.While it took a while to be seen since I didnt set up an appointment, I just walked in, overall I was in and out of here much quicker than I would have been anywhere else! I have never had a strep test take so quick for the results, I did not even know that was possible! And then my medication was expedited through their pharmacy.

I have consistently had bad experiences with this pharmacy. Went for the last time yesterday. Computers had crashed... Called back 3 hours later and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes, they said my prescriptions were ready. Arrived 30 minutes later and was told that it would be a 30-45 minute wait. Had to go 3 times before my order was ready. They clearly do not care. There are many other options on Merrimon Ave. Save yourself a bad experience and avoid this place. I will never return!

Today was the first day I had any experience with the pharmacy of this store. I am in the south-eastern part of the state and my 19 yo daughter who is a type 1 diabetic was in need of insulin. After her Dr. contacted the store to fill her insulin script the pharmacy technician informed me he would not take a card over the phone for payment. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told by the technician: Im not taking a payment over the phone and if you want to do that you need to find another store. He did not allow me to speak to anyone else.How shocking to hear a pharmacy which has been in existence for decades would put someones life at risk because a technician wouldnt let me speak to the pharmacist or the manager. He was very rude, insensitive to the situation. I cannot believe when a customer asks to speak to someone else regarding any situation an employee wouldnt get the manager or pharmacist.
