Very bad customer service. We went in there looking for something specific and asked for help, both men at the desk refused to even get up to show us what we were looking for. They didn’t want to talk to us or help in anyway- and one was just playing on his phone. Incredibly rude.

Always wonderful staff, great prices and awesome equipment!

We keep trying to do business with this company. But....And there are some things they are good at, but then they seem to drop the ball on something every time. We ordered a small sandwich unit, to replace a broken one. Thank goodness it’s slow season in our very high volume restaurant or we would have been in trouble as it took them over two weeks to deliver it. And we had to call them to see what was the hold up. Phone calls giving us status reports would have been appreciated and helpful. Then, they showed up unannounced to deliver it. We had no idea they were making the delivery. Again a big miss and it could have been a huge problem for us, the customer. We had to open our business late, so we could do the installation. Again grateful it’s off season. Their excuse, they said they called the day before and did not get an answer. We had a big snow/weather event in our town the day before they delivered. Every business in town closed or closed early.We also could have been closed for any number of reasons. They should have, with purpose and intent scheduled a delivery and a specific time, before just showing up.I wouldn’t make this comment, but we’ve had other issues, nothing overwhelming major, but still annoyances, that could be handled with more attention to better customer service.I mean we are spending thousands of dollars on expensive equipment.

I have dealt with FRS Asheville Showcase for over 25 years and have always experienced great service and expertise. They have continuously stocked the largest assortment of Kitchen supplies available in the Asheville area. Their service is always courteous and responsive. Their commitment to the industry community through Open House activities and the popular “Whacked” food competitions has been outstanding.

Have shopped here, for local restaurants since the mid 90s. Love the convenient location and the helpful staff.Only word of advice to other shoppers I can offer is that some of the goods they sell are a little shoddy, an example are the two candy thermometers I bought recently, the markings and numbers washed completely off with a sponge and hot water, ....after one use..............

Very capable staff willing to do anything to help. I highly recommend this place on its staff alone. Great selection of high quality items. If its not in stock, theyll order it for you.

I love this store. Its obviously geared toward restaurants, but theyll happily sell to the public. Ive gotten so many great, no-frills things for my kitchen. Pans, thermometers, knives, measuring cups, anything you could want. The staff are always very friendly, too!
