Grind AVL is lovely. I got a dalgona with almond milk and a pineapple galette. Both were super tasty. The service is friendly. Plenty of seating including a picnic table out front (in the shade in the AM which was much appreciated). I cant wait to come back!

Overall experience was great.Grind coffee is a wonderful place to go in the river arts district. The setting is welcoming and it is quite easy to find with Google maps. There is plenty of street parking as well as a decent sized lot across the street. You will notice the building with its bright red colors and huge garage door. Inside there are plenty of seats and tables to sit at. They have 1 restroom to use, 2 tvs to watch, and decent internet as well. The coffee is good, I had a medium roast drip, and they offer many options for hot drinks and a small pastries selection. They are currently open during covid as long as you wear a mask while inside.I highly recommend this coffee shop and will visit again soon.

Love Grind! One of the few places with great decaf coffee drinks (dont judge!). Beautiful, friendly space & great staff. BTW regular coffee drinks & pastries from the Rhu are superlative too.

Excellent coffee. Ordered two ice lattes and they were perfect. The offer true sugar free flavoring options as well. General Manager was there and a pleasure to talk to. We have been to 7 or 8 coffee shops in AVL since moving here recently. GRIND is our favorite.If you enjoy sitting and enjoying a coffee the vibe and layout here is also top knotch and very inviting. We will be back often.

Fantastic coffee in a beautiful space! The dalgona with oat milk and caramel was amazing and the chai was honestly the best and most interesting one Ive had in Asheville. Theres plenty of airy space to make being inside feel comfortable and safe, and the staff was super friendly and really helpful! We didnt grab anything to eat this time but the pastries looked fresh and delicious. Well absolutely be coming back regularly!

Excited to recommend Grind to anyone reading this. Space is inviting and comfortable, surrounded by interesting shops and galleries. Plenty of free parking on the street or in the gravel lot across from the shop. I had a drip coffee and chocolate croissant, which was delicious (and big!). Prices were affordable and service was friendly. Definitely check out Grind next time you are in River Arts or Southside areas!

The most delicious beverage is the dalgona!! My favorite way is with oat milk and some caramel or vanilla flavor. I had never experienced this caffeinated beverage in all my travels. 😋

Cute coffee shop with a nice vibe. I got a Chai latte with espresso and it was honestly the best Ive had! My husband really enjoyed his latte as well. The shop sells pastries from Rhu. We shared a sticky bun and a Hello Dolly Bar both were delicious but the bar was serious top notch!

Favorite coffee shop in Asheville!I work from home and frequently take advantage of the great atmosphere and coffee to get my work done in the mornings. The pastries are also amazing and the staff is very friendly!

Super welcoming environment, lots of parking, cheap prices for great service and drinks (I got the iced matcha latte with oat milk and it was fantastic). Great place to study with internet and plenty of seating inside. Would definitely recommend!

I stopped in for 2 Chai Lattes to go. Inviting space - hope to hang out there sometime . Got the Lattes with oat milk - always a plus ! Excellent and service was good as well. I was welcomed when I walked in the door and the barista was friendly too. Its a Depot St location which is a great area to walk around in. Highly recommend

This place is awesome! I had a delicious cappucino and a yummy cheese danish. The space is well-lit, with plenty of tables, plugs, and VERY comfy chairs. Super friendly staff! Excellent place to do work or study.

We stumbled upon this place while on a trip to Asheville. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile. The co-owner introduced himself to us and was very friendly. He told us of a few other local places we should try. The barista who made our drinks made us feel so welcomed. She asked us about our days and genuinely seemed to care about us. Plus the hot chocolate she made for us was incredible. Highly highly highly recommend. A great place to enjoy coffee and community.

Im one of those weirdos who actually prefers decaf. The trouble is finding decaf that doesnt taste like acid. Ive tried a few spots in Asheville and this is the first to have good decaf beans. The barista was friendly and the rosemary sticky bun was so large I had to carry it out on a forklift. Plus, they have oat milk!

Epic. Got great spicy chai and really delicious quiche that they source from Rue. Seem to be following covid guidelines and was clean. Staff were masked, nice, and helpful.

Great people, great space, great pastries, I found the espresso to be sub par. Ordered a Cortado and a Latte. The shots in both tasted burnt and bitter, and the milk wasnt steamed very well: it was watery, barely foam. Its probably a barista training issue, which is common in Asheville, many shops are inconsistent.

Gingerbread latte is to die for and the atmosphere is perfect to focus and get some work done during the day. Thanks yall!
