WOW!!! The food was fantastic!! But the service was even better. This team was brought together by what I have to describe as kismet. Only three weeks open and Madeleine (sp?) has created a magical little corner of culinary surprise. Shout out to Sebastian for suggesting we feel comfortable to take our time or take a lap when we said we were ‘stuffed but everything is so good’. He promised, “We’ll be here when you get back” Major hospitality points there!

Loved the food, customer service and of course they topped it off with the best cappuccino and espresso in Ashville.

The food was amazing made with different ingredients that you don’t normally see used. The portions size was large witch was great when the food is that good.The latte are made from organic coffee and was one of the best I have ever had. The food is AMAZING! Came to try this spot on a Sunday at noon and to my surprise there wasn’t any waiting time and were seated right away. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and my friend ordered the Americano and both were really good but the pancake that came with the Americano has been the best on i’ve tried in my life, no kidding! I definitely recommend this place and i’ll definitely be back

Horribly understaffed. The server we had was incredibly nice but she had 4x too many tables to handle. Didnt get syrup for my pancakes until I was handed the check, among other things. Otherwise the food was fantastic and we would give 5 stars if it was snappier.

Food was delicious! Variety of very different flavors in their dishes! We visited on their first day of reopening and they had some technical difficulties with our order and we waited way too long for our food. Phenomenal breakfast food and well worth the wait! It was a little slow to place our order, but that was only because the place was packed (we arrived at brunch rush) and the staff was working hard on orders, coffee, and champagne.We had the bomba roll with chorizo and merida tostada. Both were hot, fresh, and filling.Make sure to try the house made hot sauce and buy one for home.Will definitely go back next time we visit Ashville.

If youre looking for heaven, its here in Asheville on the corner of Broadway and Patton! The food was delicious, fresh, and healthy and looked beautiful. Huge portions at a great price. Amazing, friendly service. Great vibes. So glad we found this place!

Staying across the street for a few days and I want to try some local flavor. I don’t want to sit in a hotel restaurant when the food next door could be better. Adventure out folks.The cup of coffee was perfect. No creamer was needed. The cookie was hard on the edge but full of flavor. The breakfast taco was really good. Salad in the morning? Yes please.Get out and explore the local places. I am not a local, not even close but I enjoy reviewing ‘local’ places.

So delicious! I found myself wanting what was on my husbands plate as well. I do feel food is pricy ,however, they do serve a big portion of food. We arrived around 10am on a Sunday. Thankfully, it was not too crowded nor did we have to wait in line. Looking forward to eating here again on our next visit to Asheville.

On one of my first trips to Asheville a few months ago, some friends and I were walking around downtown during the lunch rush looking for a quick bite to eat when we found this place. When we came across this restaurant, we honestly decided to try it out mostly because there wasnt much of a line, and wow am I glad we did. We all ordered something different based on the womans recommendation at the counter, and everything was absolutely delicious and unique. It is a type of Latin cuisine that I havent had much of in the past, but it was very very good, and the customer service was great! This restaurant might be the best kept secret in Asheville! It is definitely on my to-do list next time we visit!

The second best food experience we had in Asheville on our first visit to the city- certainly the best breakfast we had our entire trip.A small, but very cute and cozy place. We sat outside because we had our dog with us.My husband got the chorizo tacos and I got the tostada. Both portion sizes were very generous and beautifully plated. The greens that came with each dish were absolutely delicious. I really still cannot get over how delicious my tostada was- one of the most delicious foods I’ve ever had, honestly. The plantains were also incredible and a nice little included “dessert” for our breakfast.Staff were also nice and the service was quick.A must visit for any time we return, would highly, highly recommended to anyone and was also quite affordable for the portion sizes.

Great fusion restaurant of Asian and Latin. Loved it so much, but Pad Thai had some citrus flavors that were not my taste. I wouldnt recommend Pad Thai here, but I loved fresh Tuna, soups, and chicken satay!

Cool and neat little place in downtown Asheville. My wife and I decided to grab brunch at this place. We were delighted with their Latin fusionned menu. One of my favorite breakfast places in Asheville I love that you can get breakfast all day and their Bomba roll is one of the best deals in town - scrambled eggs, potato, black beans, feta and avocado served with a colorful salad with delicious dressing and -- best part -- platanos! Their arepas and sandwiches are all delicious with perfect Latin flavors and flare. Super sweet staff as well.

Accidentally bumped into this restaurant during my visit to Asheville. We intended to have just some finger food and ended up having dinner there. It was father and daughter run family restaurant. The food and service was excellent. The owner was a really nice gentleman and took time to introduce his menu to us.

The location offers a great patio and it is dog friendly.You order at the counter and they bring it to you. It is a very neat place and the staff is friendly.I ordered the arepa breakfast. It was good. The arepa could have been better. BurThe overall dish was good.

So fresh and delicious. Definitely one of my new favs in Asheville. It’s farm to table, really affordable. Really nicely lit environment. And there’s a really sweet boy who takes my orders named Micah. All in all it’s a really good option for food. Plus they serve their whole menu all day. They raise all their own pork 20 miles outside of asheville. They don’t have any irritating overhead lights, but they have huge walls of windows. Great coffee too.

The food was delicious but a couple things ruined the meal: the waitress gave off a constant grudge attitude and I found a fly beneath the pupusa, which made it difficult to stomach the rest of the meal after removing it. I will not be back.

Starving and looking for something different and no long lines, decided to check out this eatery. No lines because they had just opened for the day a few minutes earlier. I ordered a pork arepa with goat cheese fritter and plantains. Tender slices of pork stuffed into a soft breaded pocketbread with goat cheese. Served with a type of guacamole and suateed veggies. Deliciously seasoned and well prepared. Definitely deserves a 5 star review. Prices was surprisingly reasonable. Service top notch.

There wasn’t much open today for all kinds of reasons. But this business was hustling and serving delicious food safely. Loved our meals. Half a charcoal chicken with salad and plantains. My husband had the papaya with chicken. Dark meat was especially delicious. Plus they serve espresso!!!!

I always love the food. But I wish they would wear their masks correctly. I went in yesterday to get food and the employees were wearing masks below their noses.

We visited Monday with our small dog. We were able to sit on the patio and have breakfast with him. Extremely friendly waitress and absolutely delicious food. I had the Americana with fresh eggs and avocado. My husband had a chicken soup with poached egg. Super tasty. Will absolutely visit again when we are back in Asheville. Thank you!

On a quick trip to Asheville, a group of friends and I went through town on a Sunday morning looking for a good breakfast bite before hitting the road. All of the main breakfast spots had over an hour long wait at each place, so we decided to walk around in the meantime and were so fortunate to stumble into Bomba! The food was absolutely delicious and hit the spot! The covered front outdoor patio was so relaxing and a great place to enjoy our meal in the heart of the city. Cant wait to go back!

Delicious! Everything was so good. Had breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Great flavors. Good portions. I wish this was in our home town. Wed be regulars. Usually places located in such a prominent location (Im looking at you Rhubarb) as Bomba gets lazy, and rely on their location to be get people in the doors, but this is a place that takes pride in what they serve. Bomba is such a gem. Its not for the big family sit down though, its more casual and small. The food has so much flavor, you cant go wrong with anything on the menu! If you like hot sauce, you absolutely have to try the house Hectors Hot sauce!!!! Good coffee too.

If youre interested in a great meal slap in the middle of downtown AVL, this should be on the top of your list. I usually order breakfast when I go, but Ive had their other options, too. Everything is good, the staff are genuine people, and the plantains are absolute magic.Grab a Bomba roll and a coffee and sit on the patio and people watch.

Literally maybe the best food I have ever had

Half chicken, rice and black beans, avocado and the best fried yuca I have ever had. Everything was a knockout. They are also among the top coffee shops downtown. Skip the lines at the so-so brunch spots and come here.

The customer service here is outstanding. My wife and ordered a Cuban, and in passing said we would split it due to its size. They brought the sandwich out on two separate plates with salads and fries on both plates as if we had ordered two separate meals. I’m not sure if this is an Ashvillian thing or just Cafe Bomba, but it brightened up our day. :)

It had the perfect flavor we didnt know we were looking for. The location was perfect and there was no wait time. The service was also fantastic. I hadn’t been to this place until yesterday, because it seemed expensive.The food was just as cheap as any diner or bar in town, and it was amazing.I had the Cubano sandwich. It came with fires and a salad. Delicious!I ordered a regular boring coffee with a side of cream, and it tasted like a cafe con leche from Miami.Y’all want this food. The value is not comparable in downtown Asheville.

Held off from writing anything, much less telling anyone, about Bomba for so long. With limited seating, I didnt want anyone else to know how amazing the food was and risk loosing my chance to relax next to the open windows watching Asheville walk by. But it has been long enough. Whoever you are, you should definitely try out Bomba. My favorite sandwich is the Tripleta. Its a incredibly delicious, and more importantly filling, sandwich at an affordable price. And you know it is a good deal when you see construction workers fill the seats at lunch time. Cant say enough about how much I have enjoyed Bomba. I just hope it doesnt cost me my seat.

Great spot for a little sunday brunch bite. I had the arepa and an IPA and a cup of coffee, and my girlfriend had the steak and eggs w a delicious horchata. The dude with the Pats hat and the locked hair was super chill and helpful and his recommendations were on point. It was nice to eat food, listen to the street musicians, and watch the bustle of the busy corner intersection.

Completely untrustworthy menu. The sandwiches served do not match their descriptions on the menu or specials board. Be prepared to have to send your food back at least once, wait another 20 minutes for it to be made and be ready for surprises, especially if you have any food allergies. I am sure the food would be delicious if made properly, but I am sick and tired of dealing with a lying menu and people who dont seem to care that what they give you is not what you ordered. They apologize, but it keeps happening. Never again will I eat here.
