Charles (the technician) was prompt and right down to taking care of business without a lot of unnecessary questions. It was one of the best experience’s I’ve had with roadside assistance and Charles was friendly and courteous!!! Great place to do business with especially being stuck on the highway! And the owner was right down to business getting his guy on the job, I appreciated the great customer service. More businesses are needed like this one!

This tire shop is great! I was in a pinch from out of town when I was referred to this shop for tires on my 5th wheel camper. They got me right in and installed a couple trailer tires for me in no time. Highly recommend.

I had a hitch placed on my subaru. The folks explained everything that I needed. For the most part, they had masks on and the waiting area was comfortable. Was finished in around an hour. Not to mention, one of the better prices in the Asheviile area. Highly recommend

I had a horrible experience getting tires and having them do an alignment on my car. They forgot to order the tires the first day. Then once I was able to pick the car up it drove like absolute trash. Also the steering felt borderline dangerous. I had to bring the car back again for them to try and undo what they did with the alignment. They denied doing it incorrectly. It steers better now but it still needs to be looked at by a shop that knows what theyre doing. All the car needed was new tires and now I have a car that no longer holds the road. I would never recommend getting tires or having any amount of work done on your car here.

Yall tightened my front wheels way yonder too tight. I only made it through 4 lugs on the first wheel before I broke my only 1/2in drive breaker bar. Its only been 5 hours since the wheels were off. I used a penetrant first, setting for an hour, too. Now im stuck with hand tight on a ratchet to get them back on, and my trip to the shop to polish my wheels for the first time was wasted. I have to buy a new breaker bar, but I gave you all the money i have. I need to have a safe vehicle to haul equipment with tomorrow, and I do not have that now. Craig Hutson 93 Chevy Crew Cab Dually

Purchase tires for a box truck, they installed and were not balanced correctly. When driving the truck, it would bounce terribly. Took it back to address, and it was worse than before. Finally took the truck to another company to balance the tires and correct the issues. The other company said they never seen such a poor job on commercial tires.

While traveling near Ashville a week ago, I blew out a trailer tire and ruined the wheel. I found Walker Tire and was able to pull up in front of their garages with my RV just before closing time. They had the tire and rim I needed in stock and had me on my way in 20 minutes. Also, their prices were very reasonable.

This is a great place for all your tire needs as well as alignments and brake jobs. The stiff is really friendly and very helpful. Honest pricing paired with knowledgeable staff. If you have a vehicle bigger then most like a lifted truck or a sprinter type van, look no further, they are the place to come visit. Quick honest and helpful service. Id give em 10 stars if that was an option.

They were short staffed today so they were not their usual with taking their time. I rate them low stars because no one and I mean no one wear a mask there. I thought this is ridicolous the way the covid and flu season is at an all time high. They have signs that say wear a mask before entering the building though. I guess that excludes the workers they cant catch it or spread it. Lol

Awesome people, great service and quick work! They had me in and out in no more than 20 minutes. They had to pull a giant screw out of my tire, then they patched me up and I was so grateful for them being so nice. I had no idea of cost and I appreciate them not taking advantage of a girl alone who very clearly had no idea how to fix it. I highly recommend!

Been coming to these guys for about 5 years now and everytime they did a good job but the one time they messed it but and went back to them to ask them what went wrong both John one of the main guys working the front desk just out of nowhere comes out cussing at me and got his mechanic that fixed the car and knows he didnt do the best job got in my face yelling and cussing at me..wont be going back to them... came to me as a surprise they would treat a customer of 5years like that...when they mess up they wont live up to it...i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone..trust me thats not the way to treat a customer thats been going there for that long...

O usually go to Walker for my wheel alignments. I trust them to get it right and not cause a problem to try to get me to put my car or truck in the shop with them because Im a woman! Their waiting room is real nice and homey with their dogs running around. I guess if you dont like dogs, its not for you. I love dogs! I really enjoy going there every time. The price of their alignment beats everyone too.

I can’t even begin to say how awesome this place is. I dropped off my custom 4x4 van for a wheel alignment and they said it would be a couple days. Then they were able to sneak me in the same day. Also, everything was done perfectly.

I have had them work on two of my cars and have good service from them.

I had a right rear flat in my pickup truck and I only noticed when I was at work. I was able to have my truck towed to Bill Walker Tire without having to be there. Calling them to arrange for service was easy and not having to sit around and wait for the work to get done was very convenient. When I got there pay for it, I met one of the dogs that work there and he was a very polite customer service rep. I would definitely come back here the next time I need new tires.

Coming from someone who worked in multiple tire shops, this place is ridiculous! Was told it would take approx. 45 minutes - 1 hour. I come back 2 HOURS later and they hadn’t even started on my vehicle. I was told it would be another 40 minutes... Go to a shop where the smartest thing in the whole building isn’t the dog!

This is a very desperate place for money I wouldnt trust the business if they are Purposely taking the signs down of the business beside them so people don’t know they aren’t allowed to park there without being towed!!!! They are sitting watching for people to park, just so they can make money on them being towed!! My father parked in a space behind the Mexican store for 2 minutes, left his car running, in the pouring rain to run in the store really quick. The lady in the store told him to go get his car that they were booting it and by the time he got out it was already booted.

Drop tires off to have mount and balance, picked up and installed them on my car and realize they stole my sensors. I will never do business with those crooked again.

Picked up a wobble on a tire while passing through Asheville on a trip. They took the time to fit me in quickly. Turns out I had picked up a bolt that stuck in the tire but didnt penetrate. No charge for their time spent on my problem. Fine folks and nice petting dogs while you wait.

I went here for new tires. They put the wrong size tires on my van. When I told them, they insisted that they had i stalled the right tires. I asked to see the tires they had taken off. It took them a long time to locate them but when they did of course I was right. Only then would they correct the error. This same day they were supposed to change the oil. They charged me but didn’t change it. They insisted that they had and I had to show them the dirty oil and that they hadn’t changed the mileage sticker. They begrudgingly changed it. The same they were also supposed to do an inspection. They tried to bribe me to give them extra money on the side to pass it. I didn’t and that same day I went to a different establishment and it passed no issue. Incompetent thieves.

I went to this establishment yesterday for an inspection and will never return. Once I arrived I was stared at for ten minutes by the many men working there and was never approached or asked if I needed any help. Instead I was waved to flirtatiously and winked at. Eventually I had to flag down one of the men to ask for an inspection where they then proceeded to ask why I didnt ask them for one ten minutes ago. No one likes to be stared at like theyre a piece of meat. I strongly discourage any female from giving business to this establishment. Take your money elsewhere, where you feel safe.

Great place for tires and general service

Such crooks! They are swindling people. They wait for people to park in front of neighboring businesses where they own the parking spots and run out and boot their car as soon as they park. We went in to ask for directions across the street and they booted our car within 2 minutes. They demanded $100 to take the boot off. Would you trust your car to people like this? Or wanna give your money to them? It breaks my heart that some people are this corrupt preying on innocent people. This business does not deserve to exist.

My go to place for tires! Friendly, informed stuff and a big waiting room. They always go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy and safe!

Been there 3 times, the first time they took so long to attend me, left my dodge ram in the morning had to put new tires and had some mechanical issues, I was suppose to get it back in the afternoon and I got it back 3 days later and they didn’t even fix it the right way, I had to take it to another mechanic. Last 2 times were the worst when I had to wait over 40 mins and no one asked if I needed help even though there was more than 3 employees just walking around so I ended up leaving, I will never go back to that place and will never recommend this place to anyone!… They need to be friendly to customers and be there to offer help instead of ignoring them. Maybe because I’m Hispanic? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Took my girlfriends car there to get the tires rotated and get one tire plugged. Not only did the tire tech not plug the tire they charged me for but didnt even rotate the tires. Your better off going to JJs. Dont waste your money at walker tire.
