I visited 2 Home Depots in one day. I think Home Depot is the best home improvement store . The quality is better on most items. That does not mean they are all the same. It seems like management is better @ the West Asheville store. Also the inventory seems to be up better @ that store.

Went to pick up a water heater that was advertised for $379, it rang up as $499. The cashier calls for a manager, some little stock boy walks up & tries to argue with me over the price, I ended up leaving the water heater at the register & walked out!

Their customer service and vast selection is outstanding! From my purchases to returns/exchange were handled quickly. The staff seemed rather pleased to work at this location. Everyone was very helpful too.

Went in the other day for some flooring and met the nicest associate, his name was ALSO Josh, he helped me get what I needed in a quick speedy manner. Always love the work that they do there.

My husband and I just stopped at this place to get vinyl. Saw what we wanted and the lady that helped us named Megan told us they were out and I clearly saw what we wanted. She checked the East Asheville store and said they had what we needed. She just didn’t want to cut it. The only saving Grace was the cashier was as sweet as could be. That’s the reason for the two stars. We will go back to the East Asheville store from now on. They helped us with no problem.

I have mixed experiences. Some associates are awesome like Dawn who puts up with my too many of my returns and pickups. Other associates just dont seem to want to be there. They are usually understaffed it seems too.

Went to buy mirror to update a small bathroom. The employee helping me was very knowledgeable, got exactly what I wanted. Also opened box to be sure mirror wasnt damaged, closed with new tape & carried to my car. Very happy with my experience @ Home Depot in West Asheville, NC.

The sales associate who helped me didnt act like you wanted to be there, the product that I ordered was not the one that they sent and I had waited two weeks to get these 90-degree elbows instead they send me couplings horrible experience

I used to frequent this location all the time.. it was my go to for home improvement things. Last month me and my sister stopped by to get some mulch. There was a big sign said 3 for 10 and we went and asked the one lady working in the outdoor section about it and she rudely said they are not that price anymore that was yesterday. She made us feel like we were bothering her. We were going to ask about other mulch but after a few rude workers from there in the past, this lady finished it for me. This place went straight down hill. We went to Lowes and 3 different workers asked if they could help us.. Sad to say I thought I would always go to home depot for my needs but i will never again!

The associates that I encountered were not very knowledgeable or helpful in the store. The overall store signage is poor. Finding it from a main street is extremely difficult. Unfortunately my trip to this location was pretty much self-serve.

Help was pretty good needed a vanity sink and faucet. Got help at the door to load. Now to install it.

Never have items in stock. Customer service is terrible. If they advise you to order online, DONT! Was given a 3 day delivery time. It has been changed twice. It apparently takes 2 weeks to ship an item from Georgia to North Carolina. Tracking number I received says it has been delivered, but theyre too lazy to unload the truck.

I had a really good experience with customer service at this store. Bobby and and his team were responsive and reliable.

Came looking for a wyze cam. Showed stock of 11 online. Told me to go to a different store refused to check stock in back.

My husband and I visited the Home Depot Store in Asheville, near Enka. The man who helped us was so helpful. His name was Dan. We were there to purchase a washer and dryer. This man, Dan, answered our questions with complete knowledge of the different manufacturers of the merchandise. He wore his mask and was very cautious and making us feel that we were in a safe zone from the virus. I cannot write how nice and courteous this man was. He deserves some recognition because he is definitely an asset to this store. Not many people are as polite and helpful as this man was. Thanks to Dan for being so helpful to us.

Think this HD is suffering the same staffing/post-ish-pandemic hangover crisis as everywhere, so Im cutting some slack.Sign on the door said, mask required - nothing about exemptions for fully vaccinated - so, ya know, I bought them, have it with me in the Ranger, NBD. Basically nobody else had one except a fraction of staff. Again, NBD for me cause ... Fully vaxed as of a month ago. I aint worried about getting sick myself, never was on high risk anyway. But I do try to comply with the posted signage. Always throw on a tank top and flip-flops for Burger King - trousers optional - 😂Anyway, just had a couple of items to pick up - new aerator insert for sink and replacement for Moms external dryer vent duct. Found what I needed easily on my own, but then the same exact part (I checked the UPCs) in two different places in plumbing - one 3 bucks listed, one 5. Maybe some customer put it back wrong? Nah, like half a dozen one place and 4 another. Glanced around at other things, and like tons of mismatched items on the same peg.It all worked out alright. The lady at the self-check (which seemed to be the only open check-out option) was super friendly, and my part ended up being the cheaper one. Just, right now, they may not be quite up to what you expect from a Home Depot.

Went to get 4 sheets of lattice Model# 118651 yesterday January 24th at store number 3645. The website stated they had 12 sheets in stock. Well after driving an hour to pick them up assuming they would have at least 4 sheets. Well they had 1 sheet and it was damaged. Employee looked for me and said that was it, just one sheet. Its very aggravating and a total waste of time for folks to drive an hour for absolutely nothing. Home Depot make your inventory match what you have in stock. Its probably unreal how much time is wasted due to issues like this.

My husband purchased a fridge to be delivered the change of date was no biggie just 3 days. But when we got it the grill was missing on bottom to cover the legs. We called first delivery guy he said oh that one doesnt come with one. Then my husband went back to HD the one he bought it. This was March 5th today is 21st and still no results we have been patient i even sent the salesperson a picture of bottom of fridge over a week ago. Today i got the run around tossed here there talking to different associates. I am no fool i worked in retail this has not been a good experience. I will not purchase another appliance from them again

Had an ok display of child safety items. Gates, drawer locks, door locks ect...Could do much better at providing eco friendly and non-toxic in home (with kids and pets) insect killer. Only had one product that i would even consider using.

Called there and asked a simple question,if they had a part for my washing machine called suspension rods and got put on hold they left me online for about 15 minutes I almost fell asleep,so I hang up call back get to the appliance dept for the second time and asked the same question with please hold got on there for another 15 minutes so I hang up almost in tears,they are very unprofessional and I have things I have to do besides sit on the phone all day,this is rediculus!that dept worker was a women and needs to be fired whoever she is….

Had to return 2 cabinets delivered to my house, BOTH damaged. I was assisted by Megan M and manager Stephen V. They were both extremely helpful with crediting my return and reordering items at a discount plus waiving shipping. Great job. Note to customers. Try being nicer when you have problems. These are trying times for everyone.

I received an online promotion and the hammer drill I was looking for had a price reduction from $359 to $199. Online from the app it said it was out of stuck, however at the store they had it for the price of $279. I showed them the ad and asked them to honor it. 2 different associates later, they said they don’t honor their online prices vs. store prices. Not really happy with how this went. I ended up buying the drill but might just return it.

Tried to return a defective item for mother in law using her Home Depot Card. Not only no record of her purchase of said item BUT History showed that her card number was used to purchase a $2,689.00 zero turn mower, which got straightened out with the card company. Still doesnt explain why no other a activity was listed on her Home Depot Credit Card when shes used it to make several purchases at Home Depot with it. Tha manager acted rather braindead trying to explain the series of events. Still dont know why someone else ended up with a similar card number but if Home Depot doesnt know , why should we ?

Let me start off by saying this is The worst customer experience I’ve ever had. First and last time I will ever do business with them. Took my business back to Lowe’s who handled it like PROS, don’t know why I even gave Home Depot a chance.

I went to Lowes first they were out of what I needed. I do not like HD. No compensation for bad service in 2019. Spent 4000 on appliances, they dragged their feet ruined my Christmas in my new home

If you need to do anything to your house, Home Depot is your one stop shop!Theyve got lumber, roofing, bathtubs, appliances, tile, ceiling fans, light bulbs, lawnmowers, landscaping supplies and seasonal items for inside and out.Oh yeah, I forgot, theyve got tools to install all of that stuff too! Ive never looked into it but, Im pretty sure that they have crews that will help you with some of the installations of the materials.The Home Depot near my house is always easy to get in and out of and, never too crowded.I love going to Home Depot just to walk around and look at all the cool stuff theyve got. Its a huge place so, its not hard to practice social distancing. Oh yeah, they even have household cleaners!Of course theyre covid and handicapped compliant.I very highly recommend Home Depot!

Ive been disappointed lately with Home Depot in W. Asheville. Their supply chains seem to be more disrupted than their competition down the street. Ive gone there too many times for simple items that they were sold out of with no idea when they would get more of those items in. I realize that with Covid 19 every supply chain is suffering due to manufacturing and shipping slow downs, but the competition seems to have a better level of supply right now. I recently bought a new Nexgrill from Home Depot that I am very happy with. I guess in these times, it pays to go online first to see which stores are carrying what you need.

Hard to find help. If you are looking for anything for a cub cadet they dont have it.

Always have everything I need at a great price. Lock your car tho, lots of theft reports come from this parking lot.

The paint department was very good. There was only one employee, but she was efficient mixing paint for several customers almost at once. I was the third person; it only took about 10 minutes.

Home depot is pretty handy to shop at. The people are nice, if you need to locate something, usually you can find someone to ask. Shopping in the hood! 👍

Gotta love Home Depot for their selection and quality!As far as covid-19 safety protocols go, all staff wear masks, but while there is a sign stating that customers are required to wear masks while inside the store, and free masks are provided at the entrance, theres no effort made to enforce the requirement, so its not uncommon to see some customers inside without masks.

Dont bother trying to use store pickup. Always seems to take forever to get the notice that the order is ready. I placed todays order for 3 items 6 hours ago. Seems like they often pick the items but fail to mark the order as complete so the ready for pickup notice doesnt get sent. This totally defeats the purpose of offering the service. Its supposed to be faster and more efficient but now Ive been waiting half the day for a small order.

Had ordered an very expensive tool organizer. The 3rd party shipper (NSD), lied to me twice and never called me to tell me they were not coming either time. At this point I was very upset. I called Home Depot and they were extremely nice and accommodating. The manager (Brian) within 2 hours picked up this massive tool organizer from another store and delivered it personally to me. Without Brian and the nice lady on the phone, home depot would have lost a long time loyal customer.Thanks for making it right with the customer, I will be back to buy more.

They couldve had a $2115.15 sale today, but an apathetic employee who couldve care less if we were there or not prevented that. I wish I couldve seen his name card because he doesnt deserve to have a job. Instead, we went to Lowes and bought a lawn tractor and 3 year plan because Jim Crotty took the time to help us out and also check on accessories. So we will NEVER give The Home Depot any of our business again.
