I took my 2018 tundra to modern of asheboro that I did not buy from them for some warranty work and could not be more pleased! I was a little nervous how I’d be treated since the truck did not come from them but Matt S. and JD in service have made me feel like a priority from the start! They went to bat on my behalf to Toyota and got my repair covered that probably would’ve been close to $2k out of pocket for me. I set an appointment, dropped off my ride, got a rental, and they had my truck back to me in the promised amount of time. I’ll rest easy taking my future work to these guys just keep people like Matt S. and JD in place and your service dept will excel always! Big town service with small town feel!

My husband and I just bought a new 2022 Corolla from Midstate Toyota. Our salesperson was Tyler Gaddy and Tyler made the purchase easy and pleasurable. We traded in a 2005 Corolla that we had also purchased new from Midstate and we were very pleased with what we were allowed on that vehicle. That Corolla was an awesome car that gave us very little trouble in all the years we had it. My husband drives a Toyota Tacoma. We are sold on Toyotas and Midstate.

I recently bought a new 2021 Tacoma. I couldnt believe that I found the exact truck, color and options that I wanted so close by! Dakota and Rufus were top notch! I am so pleased with our experience at Mid State Toyota. Decided to trade in my daughters 8 year old 5 door. I have been a loyal Ford customer since 1985 but my Campbell girl had her heart set on a RAV 4. Visited our local dealership and was not impressed. Found a clean one-owner at a Ford dealership online but at 430 in the morning my brain woke me and said, Check the Toyota dealer in Asheboro. Very glad we did. Robert Miller, our sales rep, was one of the best I have ever had the privilege to work with. He has many years experience, which is hard to find in this day, and was not high pressure at all. He truly listened to understand us and was eager to do what he could to get us into a new LE rather than the pre-owned one we came to buy. We are overwhelmed that Robert and the Mid State finance dept. went above and beyond to make this deal happen. Many people have been discouraging me from buying now since inventories are scant, but Mid State and Robert proved them wrong. Take my recommendation. Worst sales experience of my life. Ordered a vehicle and was told it would be delivered in 3 months. 5 months later it still wasn’t in. I pulled out and was refunded my money. I then reordered it after giving up on finding one like I wanted. Was told I’d be given a heads up when it hit port so I could prepare for financing and delivery. I instructed them not to touch the vehicle when it came in. I wanted all the transportation protective covers left on paint and interior. I got a call letting me know the vehicle was on the lot. Thanks for the heads up. I scrambled to get a ride to the dealership which is a hour away. When I got there all the transportation protection was off. Had a scratch on the hood where it looks like someone’s watch hit it. It also had a mud print on each running board and mud on the side of the seat. This is the reason I wanted it untouched. I was very rushed through the sale. I literally walked in and out of the dealership in less than 10 minutes. Was shown nothing on the vehicle. The salesperson drove off before I did. I paid for accessories that weren’t available at delivery and was told they’d be at my house in two days. A week later I call to see what the deal was. They were still at the dealership. Next my temp tag expired so I called to see what was going on. They haven’t even sent off for it. The whole experience has been a joke. Has really ruined the new car experience. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Switched here about six months ago and couldnt be happier. You can set up an appointment online at your convenience, by phone, or in person. For basic car care, they can sometimes squeeze you in that day if youre willing to wait. Great waiting areas and bathrooms, clean, quiet, peaceful. Kind and not pushy when it comes to what needs done on your vehicle or recommended services, and they give you the total cost up front. Located close to the Randolph Mall and other places to shop and eat within walking distance. I think they have where you can rent or borrow a car if you need to while you wait. I love it because I can take my college work there and study while I wait :)

Nothing but great things to say about Shauna East and Midstate Toyota for buying a new truck. I know exactly what I want and how I want it, which makes me a pain in the backside to work with. I also expect great service and constant updates. I purchased a 2016 Tacoma from Shauna and she catered to my every need. She is firm but fair when it comes to pricing and finding exactly what you want. She met my every need in terms of communication and customer service. Purchasing this Truck felt more like a private party sale then a dealership sale. There were no games, no sales manager in the ivory tower licking his lips and sneering over the contract. There was just complete professionalism. Shauna knew I didnt want to be called, so we emailed the entire time. She ordered exactly what I wanted and gave me a very accurate timeline. When I traveled to the dealership with my wife and toddler, she made the paperwork process quick and to the point; no up-selling or mistakes. I sent Shauna East an email last night letting her know I was interested in buying a truck, and to send me an eqoute that I could not refuse. This morning I received a response with a price that was lower than other dealers I had contacted. I wanted to negotiate an add on into the price, and she made it happen. Within hours I was sitting at her desk purchasing a new Tacoma.She is honest, thorough, and very personable. She put the fun back into buying a vehicle. I have refrained from leaving any remarks until today. This was my first time buying a car off of a car lot, and what started as excitement quickly turned into a raging headache. I was lied to from the start. I explained I had never been through the process and specifically asked if there would be anything else needed from me or if there would be anything where the car could be taken back other than non payment. I was told no, that everything was good to go and there would be nothing else needed from me, and to enjoy my new car. Needless to say, there were issues and after going back and forth a few weeks I found out I was only pre approved and not fully approved yet so it was reaching the point of needing to take the car back so I called the bank myself to handle it instead. I also discovered that the car did not have all of the features I was told it had so in all reality Im overpaying by $2,000 and of course, nothing can be done. Given the fact I had already been lied to, I did not fully trust that I would get my full down payment back so I just decided to take the loss. To top it off, I called to ask about my tags since the temporary tags expired and while I fully understand that things are delayed at the moment, I was not able to get a full sentence out of my mouth before being interrupted and told that law enforcement is not worried about tags right now. While that may be the case for some, I am currently on a schedule that allows no missed time so in the event that I were to get pulled over, I could have to give up my placement in my profession temporarily. Any time I tried to explain this I was very rudely interrupted for them to tell me repeatedly that tags do not matter right now. I fully understand the DMV being backed up but I cannot understand not letting your customers speak. The ONLY reason Im giving 2 stars is because Rufus remained very professional and easy to do business with during the entire process. He treated me with respect while I cannot say that for the rest.Going forward, I have learned my lesson on buying a car the hard way, and anytime my car needs servicing I know to take it to another Toyota dealership rather than this one.

Then Carl took over and helped with a 2001 Ford F-250 purchase. 7.3 diesel, holy grail of fords, yeah, I know, pretty sweet! Anyways, It felt good driving off the lot with this truck and adding another dependable vehicle to our fleet! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because the deal took tooo long to close... I know they were proud of this truck and felt it was worth the full asking price. But Im a small business owner, so Ive never paid full asking price for a vehicle in my life! I just dont like going back and forth that much. I would definitely give them a call in the future if they had another vehicle I was interested in. This was the easiest car purchase...ever. I had been searching for a 4Runner Limited for a long time, so I knew what I wanted. I was familiar with prices and decided on a new 2016 versus a 2015 with low miles simply due to the low price difference between new and used. I found the car online and spoke with Shauna via their online chat service. Within 10 minutes we had a deal on the car and was told it would be delivered to their dealership within a few days. Working with Shauna and her staff was seamless and easy. I drove the hour to their dealership in Asheboro from my home in Apex and was in and out of their office in 20 minutes, which included a quick 10 minute test drive of my new vehicle. All was delivered as promised and they were very efficient. I love my new Toyota as I knew I would. This is my third Toyota in 20 years. This vehicle will be my back up ride to my 2005 Toyota Tacoma work truck. What a great brand Toyota is.

Don’t try to use “their” coupons they have online. Showed them a additional $500 for trade in when u purchase a new car and he said it’s already in there. That was the first time I even brought up the coupon. Horrible. However the finance guy was really helpful with that side of it. He was very pleasant and went over every available option we wanted. Toyota of apex was going to give me more for the trade without the use of any coupon buying the exact same car but different color.

Worst car buying experience ever.I went to Midstate Toyota today planning to purchase the 2020 white Toyota Tocoma on the lot and a new Toyota Camry. Less than five minutes in and my wife and I were approached by an older male with 31 years experience, selling over 5000 new Toyotas and hundreds of used Toyotas. He used the traditional selling tactic of approaching the female and trying to get her to become emotionally attached to the vehicle. For no reason, he starts showing us vehicles we had zero interest in looking at. He never bothered to ask us the simplest questions of budget or needs for a vehicle. We continued to let him entertain himself for about ten minutes. He rambled on to my wife, not letting us get a moment to say anything. Until I finally cut him off and spoke up, commenting that I was on the lot to purchase a vehicle manufactured prior to automotive manufacturing being halted due to COVID-19. Apparently, I was at fault for getting him to shut his mouth for just a moment... this brought him to a defensive and aggressive state. For what reason, I have no idea. I have my prerogatives, in this case not wanting product post COVID-19, at this time. I come from the world of manufacturing, with more than half of my career in automotive. I know how operations work, and I have little faith in product being manufactured currently, regardless of where it is manufactured. Supply chains have been significantly impacted and the automotive industry had been completely shutdown. Unfortunately quality on all manufacturing has taken a huge hit. Increased production demand from being shutdown means high backlogs, this means speed up the line at any cost, no matter who the manufacturer. But, what do I know? Im not the sales man with 31 years of experience chasing down a customer saying what can I do for you?, after already burning the bridge. Not to mention the fact that he made my wife feel uncomfortable and creeped out by him.I think Midstate Toyota needs to upgrade this salesman into retirement and find a replacement who isnt targeting the emotions of a younger female.Its sad that we didnt get the chance to even move forward into negotiations to purchase the two new vehicles today but thankfully there are plenty of other Toyota dealerships out there!

Love this place.You know I always thought they were out to get you at a dealership.Ive never been more pleased than I have been. Ive got a 2008 Sequoia that has 230,000 miles.Shes very happy going here and will from now on.They replaced bolts that the shade tree guys at Lexingtons Sams carwash/oil change had left out.Yes they tell you things that need to be done.Not one push for any of it. Theyve got the people across the street beat also.Hey I paid less money for a set of tires than I did in 1999. Still amazed at that.Thank you guys your all awesome!

First of all this place is incredible. They are very kind, funny and easy to talk to people. I worked with Shauna East to get myself a 2008 Toyota Yaris to drive for school. She was extremely helpful and very kind. Honestly I tend to not like salesman (or women) due to the typical buy this car attitude they tend to have. However Shauna did not feel like she was just trying to make a sale. You can tell she truly cares about the customer and their needs, not just trying to get the most money she can out of them. I highly recommend going to Midstate Toyota if you are in the area, even if you arent, go. I drove an hour in a half, and did not regret my drive. First of all, we love Midstate Toyota! Ive been to a few different dealerships and this one surpasses them all. We have always been greeted warmly and taken care of like family. I feel like they see me as a human being not just another comission sale. In the past 3 years we have bought 3 vehicles from this dealership, one used and the more recent purchases were a brand new 2019 Rav4 and a 2020 Corolla, I would personally like to give a huge shout out to Shauna East, she went above and beyond our expectations and helped us to get the best deal! Bought my car from them, everyone is always pleasant. Service Dept was right on, had me in and out within an hour for oil change, multi point inspection, and a tire rotation. They didnt try to sell me on extra things that werent needed like other places I have been before. Wont take my car anywhere else for servicing!

I had a great experience purchasing my RAV4 from Midstate. They came highly recommended from friends and family, so I made the decision to go here instead of a Toyota dealer much closer to my house. The only reason why I gave Mid-State Toyota one star was so that I can make a review. I bought my truck from these guys two years ago and ever since it’s been nothing but trouble. After taking my truck to Midstate to have aftermarket features added to it and have a fender flare replaced on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma, I noticed that they had left greasy handprints on my truck. When I confronted them about it they said that my truck was dirty anyway which it was not I had not even washed my truck by hand yet and it was very clean. After they brought my truck back from the mechanic room I noticed that it had a fist print in the side of the cab frame! Of course they denied any of responsibility as I know that it was not there before I dropped my truck off. This being the first new vehicle I have ever had and I am in my late 30s I am well aware of any marks that are on my truck. The factory tires only lasted 20,000 miles and Mid-State told me that that was normal for new tires from them.(factory tires) When I would take my truck in for the services that I was given for up to 25,000 miles Mid-state did not do the things that they said they would at the sale. My tires were never rotated correctly and I always received my truck back with oily fingerprints. Now I make sure to let all my clients know and all my friends know especially the ones looking to purchase a new vehicle to stay as far away from Midstate as they can. And just an FYI I did call upper management at Midstate several times to complain about what was happening with my truck and to My surprise they never called me back. The quality at Toyota is not what it used to be and the service at Midstate is awful. After spending my entire adult life owning a Toyota truck this has been the greatest disappointment in my life as an adult. I just wanted my truck and good service I am not hard to get along with. Please heed my warning and stay away from Midstate Toyota of Asheboro!

We bought a SUV from Midstate Toyota and worked with Shauna East. The entire process was seamless. Shauna was not pushy, which I greatly appreciated. The customer service I received from Shauna, Rufus and Dwayne was wonderful. Shauna offered to help with the electronics on the vehicle even after we left the lot. Again I cant say how great the entire staff treated, my husband and I. If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle, Midstate Toyota is the place to go!

This was the best auto buying experience I have ever had. It was quick and easy. No sitting for hours while someone tried to get me to purchase something I didnt want. I saw what I wanted on line. Sales person called me, I told her what I was looking for and the price that I wanted and within two hours my son had a new truck. Everyone there was extremely nice and very easy to work with. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I had an engine problem on the way home from work. I called Mid State and gave the gentleman my problem. I gently drove it there, Wayne and JD took care of me. I bought my tundra from them in 2000 (now with over 400,000 miles). They have always treated me very well. I totally trust Mid State Toyota.

Shauna is great to work with. I started emailing her and asking her questions. I told her I wanted a turn key price and when I pick the Truck up I dont want any surprises. I got a 2016 Tacoma Sport and true to her word no up sale or surprises. She gave me a better price that I got from the Costco buying program and the Truliant Car Buying program. Im very happy with the purchase!!!
